  1. Europe is to afraid of millions of refugees to act rationaly. Kemalistic Turkey was big ally of the West. But who knows, maybe Erdogan was behind the scenes whipped so much from his western "allies", that switching sides has for his goals much more positives. And there will be no Kemalists to pose a threat to his decisions, soon.
  2. Unless he decides to play lovey-dovey with Vladimir. Then he will probably not lose at all.
  3. Well maybe if current government in Ukraine would not be very supportive of https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stepan_Bandera And maybe right after Majdan and election of new parliament, they did not revoke the Russian minority many of their rights, like removing Russian language from being official state language, the current situation would have looked completely different. No one argues that taking of Crimea was illegal act, but so was the separation of Kosovo from Yugoslavia/Serbia. When NATO forces a part of another nation to break from legitimate "owner" to save the Albanian minority from oppresion, it is OK, but god save Putin, because he decided to annect Crimea to save Russian minority from Ukrainian oppresion. Such a scumbag... Current NATO fearmongering against Russia does not serve anyone, well except the weapon business lobby. This is also one of the reasons why EU and NATO are losing trust around Europe. Especially among the populace of east earopean nations. And stuff like Barosso getting the job at Goldman Sachs few days ago, which undermines everything what was built in 70s and 80s. It's hard to convince "smallfolk" now, that anything done during Barosso's leadership was done in their interest and not in the interests of financial lobby. In a wake from this news, Britain leave is not surprising anymore and even me, as a person who is first European, and then Slovak, thinks, that if EU does not make hard reforms, it should burn.
  4. Finished my Platinum run for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. I am really happy, that it is already over... It is prime example of game, where if you do not know how to make game last longer, you put in MMO-like quests and make it even worse. Well still I had to put in 127 hours, so the game is not that bad, but the idea where you "level up" only with completing the quests, is still not very compelling... Currently at 12 Platinums. Next game either Atelier Rorona or Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory. Or something completely different, because I am somehow not much in the mood of gaming in last few weeks.

  6. Unfortunately the older Grand Strategy games have pretty low sales compared to other strategies on GOG, but man can really understand that, because they have very loyal Steam fan base, which are already playing their newest releases, and are not interested in rebuying/replaying older games from the series. There are not many of their fans, like me, who have never played their games before GOG
  7. Well at least two :-P Many thanks as well. It is always welcome to have more choices available!
  8. Man, I am so happy that Obsidian and Paradox were able to make a deal with GOG!!! I would be happier only, if we could have non-steambound physical box as well. Man can dream
  9. I'm lost here. Are u saying that this is an example of Christian gang rape? Correct me if I am wrong, but to me this passage from the text seems like something very similar, to what we call in current age a gang rape.
  10. Apples and Oranges at best. a) Leviticus is Old Testament. Most Christian denominations put oodles more emphasis on the New Testament than the Old, if they even refer much to the Old at all. Hence they are Christians, not Jews. b) It was Christian nations that abolished slavery (the overt form anyways) first within their own nations, and then campaigned to abolish it worldwide. Not Muslim, not Jewish, not Animist, Buddhist, Hindu, or whatever else. Christians. c) It was almost exclusively Christians (albeit not all of them, for quite some time), mostly of the Protestant flavor that fought tirelessly, bled, and died for the liberties which you now enjoy. Not Muslims, Not Jews, not Animists, Buddhists, Hindus, or whatever else. Christians. d) Actions speak louder than words. There is indeed a problem with many of the immigrants in Europe, as well as elsewhere. Many of these problems are via Muslims. e) Actions speak louder than words. If a book you believe in to at least some degree saying to do X or X is ok is one thing, actually doing it yourself is another. f) Many modern Muslims do indeed believe they are at war with 'the west' and Christianity. Some of them do live within the borders of western nations. That is a problem. Likewise it would be a problem if the roles were reversed (and occasionally they have been). I could go on... possibly all the way through the alphabet even.... but, the point should already be made. About Old Testament: Words of Jesus: Matthew 5:17-18 (NKJV) "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. EDIT: And one more about Old Testament: Luke 16:16-17 The law and the prophets were until John; from that time on the kingdom of God has been proclaimed, and everyone is urgently pressed into it. But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one stroke of a letter of the law to become invalid.
  11. Or dear ktchong, speaking of Gang rape: Judges 19:22-30 Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him. And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly. Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing. But the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth unto them; and they knew her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go. Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man's house where her lord was, till it was light. And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshold. And he said unto her, Up, and let us be going. But none answered. Then the man took her up upon an ass, and the man rose up, and gat him unto his place. And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and sent her into all the coasts of Israel. And it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no such deed done nor seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt unto this day: consider of it, take advice, and speak your minds.
  12. So you think Wikipedia just created those cases out of thin air? That none of those rape cases happened and Wikipedia made them up? BTW, those are all cases that have been investigated, put on trial, and the Muslim rapists were convicted. So it was not like Wikipedia just invented them. Because raping is solely a muslim business .... riiiiiiiiiiiight... give me a break... *sighs* Rape gangs and sexual grooming are Muslim businesses. I have not heard of any other demographic group that do those things on such a large scale. For example: Chinese or Koreans do not have rape gangs targeting white women. Chinese or Koreans do not groom little girl for sexual slavery. Yet we keep reading about how Muslims - in particularly Pakistanis (who are unfortunately called "Asians" by the British media) - consistently commit those atrocities. Here you have and example of Christian performed gang rape https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2016/05/27/dozens-of-men-took-part-in-the-gang-rape-of-a-brazilian-teen-the-the-video-made-it-online/ Which is actually uncommon. As I said: Which is a pattern. Which is a culture of Islam. FYI: the founder of Islam himself was a bandit warlord in his late life who was going around pillaging, plundring, raping and abducting women as sex slaves. That was what Mohammad did. That is what Islam was founded on. And that is what Islam is. Mohammad was a brutal warlord; he was not a hippy who renounced violence and went around preaching non-violence; he was not a prince who renounced power and wealth to pursue enlightenment. Mohammad was not a peaceful man in his life. So what makes you think Islam is any different from the behaviors of its founder? Ok let's judge now all Christians by Bible verses, too: You may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT Whosoever … hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God. For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous, Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded, Or crookback, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken … He shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries. Leviticus 21:17-23 KJV But if [a girl wasn't a virgin on her wedding night] and evidence of the girl's virginity is not found, they shall bring the girl to the entrance of her father’s house and there her townsman shall stone her to death, because she committed a crime against God’s people by her unchasteness in her father's house. Thus shall you purge the evil from your midst. Deuteronomy 22:20-21 NAB
  13. And what do you think Christian UN soldiers have done in Kosovo or Allies soldiers in Germany during World War 2?

  15. Why not? Better than the the undemocratic EU that is run by unelected, appointed officials, i.e., the European Commission in particular, who routinely overturn local laws passed by locally elected officials. Yeah Yeah, Because House of Lords in UK is full of elected individuals ROFLMAO

  17. Yes, because wikipedia is the right place to link to /facepalm
  18. Again, the quote, which was heard on BBC: That something is linked, does not mean it could not be separated, if people in charge decide, that it's right thing to do. For me EU and UK was also linked, and now we see them going separate ways *shrugs*
  19. more than 41,000 votes already... https://www.change.org/p/sadiq-khan-declare-london-independent-from-the-uk-and-apply-to-join-the-eu That is never going to happen and any suggestion to do so is idiotic Please elaborate on this
  20. Sir! You have won the internet for today! :D Here's your prize ) https://youtu.be/agKxtn4NIDk
  21. This one petition is interesting: Make London independent from UK. The comments on it on Ars Technica UK: more than 41,000 votes already... https://www.change.org/p/sadiq-khan-declare-london-independent-from-the-uk-and-apply-to-join-the-eu
  22. Her comments are annoying and uninformed Who is she anyway? She thinks it will be great when Trump becomes president because there will be a WW3? Mam just ignore her and the anti-UK comments, did you read some of the views from people supporting her, the degree of invective and anti-Western sentiment never ceases to amaze me I do not think her main comment was the uninformed one according this tweet: https://twitter.com/JohnClarke1960/status/746291106854371328/photo/1
  23. Well as long as you're not a refugee. Or brown. Or east european part-time worker, which took your job, which you would never even consider to apply for it, in the first place There is definitely some unnecessary and unsubstantiated criticism throughout the EU from some sectors of the population towards East Europeans and how " they taking jobs " I wouldn't take it seriously...I know thats probably harder to do than it may appear as it must get frustrating at times No it is not, I see the same in here. People are blaming everyone else for their lack of satisfaction with their lives. Here we have also lot of jobs, which Slovaks feel ashamed to work at. And still everyone is yelling "STOP IMMIGRANTS, THEY ARE COMING HERE TO TAKE OUR JOBS!!!" We have 10% unemployment rate, but are still not able to fulfill all of the needs on job market, due to disparity between what people can do and what they want to do.
  24. Well, I am afraid, that western politicians will only understand that some motion like this is among the populace, only when there will be coup-d'etat happening in front of their office...
  25. I have never played Halo, so allow me to apologize for failing this reference check
