  1. - Final Fantasy X-2 and XIII are actually awesome games - Final Fantasy VI is one of the most boring jRPGs I have ever played - Elves are awesome - High magic fantasy setting is the best setting for RPG - Western RPG makers should learn from their Japanese counterparts, how to properly model armors, weapons and haircuts - EDIT: AD&D 2nd Edition is the best ruleset used in CRPGs
  2. Or Final Fantasy IX, which is the best jRPG ever made in my humble and always correct opinion From your list, Chrono Trigger, Jade Empire, Baldurs Gate 1+2 would be me first picks. Oh and Alpha Protocol, it is not a classic, but it's awesome
  3. http://arstechnica.com/security/2013/05/how-crackers-make-minced-meat-out-of-your-passwords/ It might help, it might not.
  4. Yes you are right in a way, but for me it was not planned an upgrade, I just wanted to play Final Fantasy XIII and Demon's Soul. With the "quality" of games in last 5 years, I was playing only League of Legends for few hours and it started to bore me as well, then I found some interesting PS3 japanese games and started to enjoy gaming again. Now I am playing Gran Turismo 6, Atelier Ayesha and Star Ocean 4. I am starting to get more and more disappointed with the GT6 and it's AI. In 5 lap race first three laps, the opponents drive on Vettel level, and then in last two laps they drop to my sister level, and in two laps I am able to get over more than 15 seconds time difference between me and leader with ease...
  5. People's idea of "old" for computer parts sometimes disturbs me...my mother was still using an old single core Athlon 64 up until a few months ago...now that's getting on the old side. I am still using single core Athlon 64 for my PC gaming and it is enough for all the indie games I play. There was not a single PC AAA game that would convince me, that upgrading it is not waste of money. I do 95% of my gaming on PS3 now, and I am satisfied.
  6. I had the same feelings when starting NWN1 for the first time, thankfully I never played DA2. So yes, the worst game for me was the abomination called Neverwinter Nights OC... After spending so much time with Infinity Engine games and loving all of them, It was such big disappointment, I really do not remember any other in my gaming history.
  7. Got it too Thinking about DK2... never played it before, but I have so little time right now
  8. Thank you, I try to use your advices to the best Having various NPCs at some story locations or at some smaller dungeons are not as big problem for me as NPCs with which the Party is in interaction every day. My current biggest struggle is Bard Gelik in Serpent's Skull AP for Pathfinder, I just simply am unable to act him as he is described in his Statblock entry. My party already made him hostile, but because they are all shipwrecked on small island, he has to stick with the player party, if he wants to stay alive... His described personality is so far away from my own, that I am simply not ale to act him properly, which is shame
  9. Holy jesus... That was all actually in-engine, too. Jesus. "Please, Peter, make a movement." But I also noticed how they said this: "You will be fighting for your wife." I think we can confirm that you can ask for sandwiches in this game. He actually said "You will be fighting for your life." Hahaha, Slavic accent is sometimes funny and harder to understand
  10. Art is art, you don't like, you don't buy, but don't tell anyone else, that he should be ashamed to like some specific types of art, because you might find it offending...
  11. Bro, it uses steamworks. Only real advantage is that at least we won't be subjected to the squeals of outrage from people who think steam is the only source of games about having to run multiple clients (instead of, like, buying anywhere else apart from steam where you get one client only), it'll just be the one client they happen to like and don't mind other people being forced to use. I'd bet it has nothing to do with Ubisoft themselves, more to do with THQ who were original fans of steamworks. If steamworks features had been integrated it would require time and money to identify and excise the infection from the healthy underlying tissue. You made me sad panda now No South Park for me then
  12. @Walsh Hmm I think my biggest problem is roleplaying NPCs. Especially when their alignments are far away from my actual personality. Then there are various rules implementations, because I am trying to be as flexible as possible, but my friends low to come up with various crazy ideas :D And because I am still green behind the ears, some situation really take lot of time to solve it in a way, that are fit for the situation, do not break rules and me and most of the PCs are satisfied with it's solution. I actually would like to watch the real and experienced GM how they handle various situations in combat and social interactions and try to learn something from them which I can implement to our gaming circle... And about your 4 points hmm. Because I am noob I play at the moment only official Paizo Adventure Paths... Currently first book of Serpent's Skull. I think I am set good on point 2 and 3. But 2 could always need some better managing by me And 3 most of them want big challenges with the exception of one player. Number 4 Unfortunately impossible. In my city, there are only 5 people playing Pathfinder which I know, and all of them are in my group :D. One of the problems is English language of the rules. And number 1. I try my best to empathise and sympathise with PCs, unless they do some stupid selfish decisions. But I have problems with that with NPCs and the world. I think that's part of the problem with my lack of roleplay skill @nik I would prefer at the moment only Pathfinder games with core rules only. Because I am afraid that any homebrew stuff would made me even more confused from some of the rules I still have problem to remember or use properly in the situations where they are required. That is the biggest problem at finding groups. 90% of them are already with very experienced GMs with their own worlds and homebrew variations which can be very different from group to group I should try G+ again. It's pretty long time ago when I was looking it last time... Thanks for reminding me of that option again...
  13. I have tried various fansites and various virtual tabletop gaming groups as well, but I found only one Euro group so far, but they were already in middle of Curse of Crimson Throne AP, so no new players accepting Myself I am playing with my friends on roll20 virtual tabletop. I tried to search there for group too. There is only one group for west euro players, but only 23 people registered, I did not noticed that any of them playing PF though. I feel, like I am being subpar GM, so I really would like to experience some good GMs and possibly to learn from them something. I started to play PnP in november 2012 and we played maybe 20-25 days only. Would you be able to recommend me some fansites? Maybe I missed some good.
  14. W00t W00t??? Does that mean I will be getting my first PC Ubisoft game ever??? *crosses fingers*
  15. Hello. I would like to learn little bit GMing by observing and playing in some group. But because of my busy worklife, I have absolutely no idea where to look for online group, which would accept my noob status and would be playing at reasonable time in CET region. I found once awesome group of helpful players, but they were all Australian, so I ended up with having serious sleep issues... I tried to find some other groups and webpages on my own, but either my Google-Fu skill is low or some other mysterious reason, I was able to find American players only, which is as bad for me as the Australian group. The only Euro players which I found did not played online So the question is: do you know about a place, where I could find some community of nice people playing classic Pathfinder (I do not like the restrictions of Pathfinder Society Rules and Scenarios) online over Skype or G+, mostly at weekends around noon-evening in Central European Time Zone (GMT +2), which would accept noob player which wants to learn to be better? Thanks a lot
  16. I was always thinking, it was more fault of how Atari was handling the license, than Hasbro being sue-happy.
  17. May I know what car is that? I did on Sunday get slowly over IA license test, all gold, in less than 30 minutes. Only thing which made me trouble was IA cone slalom, which I spent 20 minutes, 3 out of next 4 tests I made on gold in two attempts, and the last one on 4th. I am just wondering if it was made really so easy, or just my experience with handling different cars with Traction Control has get much much better. EDIT: IA Races got little bit harder now, but my impression so far is still the same as before. I have to say, when I am not rushing through the game, I don't need to grind at all. All my income is easily solved with Gold Trophies and cars won in Seasonal Events. After 1.4 patch, new GT Vision car was introduced into the game, which solved the need of purchasing new car for many IA events. 9 million Credits on my account at the moment, and I spent already more than 6 millions. Of course, I am not interested at all about 20,000,000 Cr cars at the moment, my most expensive is Toyota 7 race car with 711PP. This car is powerful enough for most races and I already learned how to handle it properly.
  18. Keyword in my post is "Game" not "Medieval". Please read again and don't put to my mouth words, which I did not said. In other words, saying that someone is bigot, because he does not think, that having woman in historical medieval game is good idea, is as farfetched as saying that Quentin Tarantino is a racist, because how he depicted black people in Django Unchained...
  19. I am just shaking my head about some of the people here... Arguing about equality of women in a medieval game is the same bull**** as complaining about racism in Django Unchained...
  20. Yeah. that's right. My guess would be conflict between both... If it would be the problem of the UK filter, why are not other ISPs affected? And maybe I am just overzealous here *chuckles*
  21. Hmm actually all I do for making money is to get my bonus to 200% and then playing the Seasonal Events until I get gold Trophy. I have now more than 5 millions credits and already unlocked the tuning trophy for 2+ million credits spent, but I am still at International B. The truth is I have spent most money on tuning and I am using 90% of the time the gold trophy unlocked cars and Vision Mercedes to win the races. But I think you meant 2,000,000 creds and not 200,000. Then I can understand why you have issues, I had issues with that in GT5, but I just run good sponsored B-Spec races to get more money while working at home office. This cannot be applied to GT6 unfortunately . I will comment more when I decide to play game more and get into S license races as well.
