  1. Same. The driving is awful, the bikes aren't as bad. I really feel like cyberpunk could have been hub based instead of open world, because the open world part really added nothing except time wasting
  2. As Long as Bethesda doesn't make the next fallout game I'm okay with it. I might change my mind if starfield isn't a soulless empty open world game
  3. Not directed towards me but I'm bored. There are lots of missions actually... I imagine with 100+ hours they are trying to 100% the game. Some of those missions are pretty basic "go here kill people" "go here steal something". The main story is rather short I thought I sidetracked quite a bit, and hit the point of no return quickly.
  4. At first glance the thumb nail seems rather nsfw
  5. The thing that always annoyed me about RDR2 is how they want it to be "realistic" no fast travel, clean your horse, manage your weight... yet when it comes to combat you can get shot in the head a dozen times and be fine. I really feel like if they scaled the amount of enemies, as well as your health, it would have fit the rest of the game much better.
  6. Yes we deserve what we get at this point
  7. Mount and blade bannerlord. I have finally got to a point where I'm making more daily than I spend on my army. No longer just slaughtering bandits. Bigger battles are a lot of fun. Had a 40(me) v 50 that ended with me and 2 of my soldiers standing at the end. That was fun. Some bigger battles as well with hundreds... but I found the smaller 1 army vs 1 army battle the most fun. Huge ones are chaotic and I'm not good at syncing my army with my allies
  8. I'm curious, does not taking the sword and being chaotic hinder you? It feels like they want you to take the sword.
  9. Playing "trails of cold steel" already beat the trails in the sky series. I like it, but I can't really say why. The dialog is rather corny. All the quests are fetch, go here, talk to this person, get something, fight a monster. The combat is very easy. JRPGs are just charming I guess. The writing is childish, but also somewhat dark If you look passed it's presentation. Nothing has really happened story wise, it's just all character development, which I appreciate. It feels like every game lately has to start with some intense action, instead of easing you into the game. I think of baldurs gate 3, and pathfinder 2. Both start by instantly showing you some mega boss. Instead of you being introduced to the world and setting. Wrath of the righteous has a giant demon, a dragon and a magic sword within like 5 minutes. The sword is what makes me stop playing. Now I feel like I should make a character that uses a sword. Why would a monk, mage or ranger be the chosen sword character... I don't know if I want to be lawful or chaotic in this situation. I just threw a knife, fell down a hole, now I gotta choose if I'm going to lawfully accept the sword. This just became a pathfinder rant
  10. I like how everyone has bought, but not played this game yet. I keep saying I'm going to give it a try but then play anything else but it
  11. The "old world blues" fallout mod is pretty fun
  12. I was more referring to the name "avowed" seeming like you won't be a blank slate... not a for sure thing obviously, but the name makes me think you will be... avowed
  13. I agree. I'm fine either way, but in open world games I prefer a blank canvas for a character... though with the title I'm a little skeptical we will get a blank slate
  14. I feel like I already posted this but can't find it. Playing hearts of iron 4 "old world blues" mod... way more fun than the base game. Plus without the weird feeling of being fascist, Communist or boring... like the base game The modders obviously put a ton of work into it... find it crazy it's not more popular within the steam workshop
  15. Clearly everyone in this thread is smarter than me. Maybe I should start playing ubisoft games...
  16. I played at the start of early access... I'll try again. I'm not too snobby with graphics but they were terrible(I'm guessing that hasn't changed) not just low budget but so ugly. Like original Playstation polygon ugly. Also the starting point instantly turned me off it. PoE had my favorite intro because it was easy to roleplay any type of character/class and easily justify why they might be in the situation they are... this one you are a servant of some rich people, and personally just limits what type of character would be in that situation I'll give it a try though
  17. With deadfire it's just easier.. I didn't have to use math at all really. Keep in mind I play almost any game on the default setting. PoE pretty much anything you do will work... and there are no trick abilities that are the wrong choice... there are better choices but on normal it doesn't really seem to matter
  18. Well you're right that didnt make me feel better! Personally even if i never get 1/4 of the way through the game i wont regret the purchase. I like supporting these types of games... even if this specific one is way above my head.
  19. Yes exactly. Also I always seem to make the wrong choices. Math is not a strength of mine and I get quite overwhelmed... and have many times got halfway through a game and then realized I made pretty much every mistake possible. Its what made POE accessible to me. You can pretty much make any class work... on normal at least.
  20. No my scene involved space... and I hated it Edit: hate is a strong word... I just didn't quite understand why V was going to space
  21. I'm still stuck on that first part where you choose class and race. 40 hours in I'm enjoying it so far
  22. Me too. I'm not a big fan of prequels in general. the end of deadfire would have interesting potential story wise. that being said, a prequel makes sense because you aren't stepping on the POE fan base who like isometric, and you aren't making new players have FOMO regarding the set up to the story.
  23. Just beat it. Overall I liked it. The story and characters were good. Combat was decent. Only thing I really didn't like was the ending. Not to spoil anything but the very last scene that maybe sets up a DLC made me the opposite of excited. Not sure if all endings have the same last scene I had
  24. Yeah. It was the first dragon age game I played and I thought hinterland was the whole game. Then I found the world map and stopped playing.
  25. I have tried to sleep with everyone I could, just so I don't miss out on any awkward close ups and fully clothed position changes. The revolver would make it funnier.
