Me too. I'm not a big fan of prequels in general. the end of deadfire would have interesting potential story wise. that being said, a prequel makes sense because you aren't stepping on the POE fan base who like isometric, and you aren't making new players have FOMO regarding the set up to the story.

Just beat it. Overall I liked it. The story and characters were good. Combat was decent. Only thing I really didn't like was the ending. Not to spoil anything but the very last scene that maybe sets up a DLC made me the opposite of excited. Not sure if all endings have the same last scene I had

Yeah. It was the first dragon age game I played and I thought hinterland was the whole game. Then I found the world map and stopped playing.

I have tried to sleep with everyone I could, just so I don't miss out on any awkward close ups and fully clothed position changes. The revolver would make it funnier.

Started playing cyberpunk. The side quests are top tier honestly. Sometimes I have to double check its not a main quest it seems so substantial. Went with female V, sex scenes are weird, not sure I like being mounted like that. Edit: okay the Silverhand sex scene was also awkward so it's not just being mounted that's weird

Started playing guitar again... does that count? No games have been able to hold my attention lately (years it seems)

The having them cheat in you would trigger a lot of people. For that reason I like it. One thing I did like about DA:I is that the characters actually had preferences... I always find it silly when everyone wants you regardless of race/gender. Being 5'8 I'm too short for many girls... yet everyone falls in love with me as an orlan suuuure

They can be quite intrusive, distracting and cringe worthy in real life too

It seems to have everything the first one had(aside from mods) they added some cool stuff since the last time I played... now at the start of a battle you can place troops, that was a nice change

It feels pretty complete now? Though my experience with the first one is limited so I'm not completely sure. I think the modding community hasn't had a lot of support yet? Which is a shame because mods can really transform it from a decent game to a good game.

Mount and blade bannerlord. I pretty much only get kills when they start to retreat and I can run them down with my horse(and they can't fight back). It's fun, but also I feel like I'm wasting my time

30 zombie games a year is too much?

Yes and the derpy look your character has in conversations... and that's when you succeed in charming or persuading

I thought New Vegas did it alright, they were all bad choices, which I liked. Same with Deadfire, I didn't like any of the factions... Maybe I just don't like groups. Mass effect 2 is maybe the worst offender for 2 extremes... because any diversion from good or bad, will have bad results, no mix and matching... basically you should just choose whether to be good or bad at the start, and not have to decide anything. Edit: I might not know what theory of two extremes is

I'm starting to think I have had this exact conversation on Obsidian, the last time I tried to play Baldurs Gate 3. Here are 3 things I hate about baldurs gate 3 1) is it a nod to D:OS2 to have the game start on a ship, and then crash on a beach? Because I hate it, I felt like I was playing Divinity. 2) you meet every companion within the first 10 minutes of the game. You all were on the ship together... reminds me of another game... I guess this is so you can play as them... 3) I get that it's probably a style choice, but due to your companions being possible MCs, your created character feels so out of place. I felt zero connection to a created character. You are unnecessary, and a burden.

Was that to me? Do you also dislike their writing? I feel like everyone loves larian and I just don't quite get it

Trying to play baldurs gate 3. Not sure what it is about larians writing that I don't like, but I can never get invested in characters or plot in their games. Also mount and blade 2... that I'm having fun with but I feel very stuck... grinded out 10k from escorting caravans... need to join a war but no one wants to hire me

Barely looking forward to anything, unless we are counting games with no release date. There is that one Australian fallout type game that looks intriguing, but don't know a release date for that either

I agree it's very weird just how much people spend on crappy mobile games. Though I also don't understand advertising... it's very rare that I will see an ad and then go out and buy that thing. I'd say never, but I'm sure there has been a time I did.

This happened in fallout 2 for me... I got liike 5 hours in and was like "why the hell do I have no money?!? I've been selling so much" stupid millennial

Didn't they say early in development that you'd be able to "romance any npc". Far cry from the actuality of being able to romance 1 of 3 npcs

I never really understood the problem... as far as I know it doesn't effect the game. It's a shameless money grab... but who cares if someone wants to waste their money

Really hoping I can be an orlan. My favorite race of any fantasy series. Could call me an Orlan supremacist.
