The Bleeder. Tricker Rogue/GhostHeart Ranger
The synergy is very simple. Rogue ability: Arterial Strike: enemies take raw damage for every step to take. Rogue ability: Escape, for more mobility. Trickster ability: Repulsive Image. Forces enemies to RUN AWAY. Ranger abilities: Evasive Roll/Fire and Driving Flight. Strategy: put arterial strike on enemies with St. Omaku's or Frost Seekers. Then use Repulsive Image and Evasive Roll/Fire to make the enemies run around in circles. With arterial strike, they kill themselves chasing after you. Summon Pet for some tankiness. Win. Or you could go pure rogue. You lose Driving Flight, Evasive Fire, and pet summons but you get Gambit, Murderous Intent, and Wall of Many Colors and you still have Escape to force the enemy to chase you.

Arteriel strike + rams sprint. This is awesome
Arterial Strike with Blunderbuss. Then run away. That's the other trick for Solo POTD. Another idea: Arterial Strike with Evasive Roll/Fire. Ghostheart/Trickster. Frostseeker or St. Omaku's. Hit them with Arterial Stirke and Kite, Kite, Kite. Use Repulsive Image to get the enemies to FLEE with arterial strike active. Shi-. That's a good enough idea it deserves its own thread.

Worst multiclass synergy
What? Pure Ciphers have a ton of abilities to target either Will or Fort. Disintegrate against Low Fort enemies and Charm against High Fort enemies. If you multiclass, you're going to miss out on abilities like Death of a Thousand Cuts.
-
Worst multiclass synergy
Well, yeah, but a pure priest or Cipher would be better. The multiclass makes it worse.

Worst multiclass synergy
ANY multiclass with a chanter is a good multiclass. Ghostheart/Beckoner isn't that bad because you're still a Beckoner. I vote Priest/Cipher. Not only is there no synergy, but you're gimping yourself because you can't get the higher level Priest spells.

Tentative Marauder Build (Revisiting an Old Concept for a Principi Character)
It looks fine. I'd just be worried about staying alive but that's the issue with all marauders.

Decent ranged dps - advice needed
The problem with that build is cruddy penetration.

Devoted (WarBows)/ Ranger (Sharpshooter) is always solid. Someone, I think recently made a build for it on the forums.

Yes.

[HELP] Spear and Shield
Herald. Paladin/chanter (Troubador). Ultimate tank and summoner. It's a better tank than most "pure tank builds" because their summons tank, too.

OBS made melee class in multi desireable too much
They need more combat in the game to test things out.

Frostyboy (Frostseeker Hunter)
I''m not even certain Frostseeker is the best weapon for this build. Why not St. Omaku's for the "50% chance on crit to shoot again?" Also, we're talking about 15 (!) penetration with St. Omaku's. 16 when upgraded to Legendary. Have a chanter in the front lines spamming out the armor debuff spell and you're looking at overpenetrating all the time.

Can Xoti be Insane and in a Committed Relationship with Watcher?
Just wondering.

Can anyone give me some help with my Mindstalker build?
Custom build your own herald then (it's not like Rekke has many Roleplay potential). I mean, if you're ok with a Death Godlike, spend most of combat at Near-Death with Xoti as your personal support spamming Might Inspirations and Barring Death's Door. . Some other herald casts the Paralyze chant. Extra crit chance. +100% crit damage when you're flanked and blooded as streetfighter. +3 PL as Death Godlike. With Xoti focused on you, the Herald can heal your tanks. Also, start a romance with Xoti. Encourage her to become crazy and evil. She's infatuated with Death and you're a Death Godlike. Ooo la la. [i'm not going to check PM. Just go ahead and overload the forums. That's what it's for].

The main advantage of streetfigther is the -50% recovery time. So if you're playing ranged, to take advantage of it you'll need to be at half health or less most of the time. It's too bad Phantom Foes is FOE Aoe only. Obviously Kitchen Stove's encounter power to open up fights, then switch weapons. Be in the front lines initially to get hit once or twice, go to half health, then teleport out and let tanks step up. The key is to ascend with the -50% recovery time up. I guess that's what you're thinking? Death Godlike, and once Xoti gets barring death's door, go to Near Death, have Xoti cast that spell on you, ascend, and then whale away. EDIT: Also, Pallegina's the better tank than Rekke because her summons can tank, too. You can also use her ogres to flank, which is an easy way to get sneak attack. As a chanter, she also has the "faster reload time" chant AND give party-wide accuracy bonuses.

Solo or party?
-
Party Support Chanter: Single or MC?
YES. Most OP and easiest party comp: 3 Paladin/Chanters and 2 Chanter/Whatever. There is no such thing as "too many chanters." Pal/Chant is seriously OP. Can easily solo the game. Even better in a group.

[Class Build] "Lord Of The Imps"
Wow. Cool idea.

Build Idea: Arcane Wimp Tank
If you want the ultimate tank and buffbot, play a herald (Chanter/Paladin). It can heal, summon, buff, give auras, provide regen, debuff, apply DOTs, is tanky as hell. and never runs out of chanter resources.

Patch 1.2 Paladins
Marigoldran replied to Anaeme's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Paladin is awful as a single class and really really good as a multi.

Sage (Or Caster/Monk in general) Slow early game, but ramp up?
Monk/Wizard is... iffy. The two don't synergize well until Spirit Lance, and that's very very late. The problem with Wizard is your spells oftentimes kill your own party. Unless you stick entirely to the Missile line, in which case: HelWalker.

Sage (Or Caster/Monk in general) Slow early game, but ramp up?
Depends. If you're Monk/Cipher Helwalker is definitely better. For Monk/Chanter there's no point since your primary job then is to summon and buff.
