  1. Started a new playthrough and got Duskfall and Bardatto's Luxury within 3 hrs of playing normally. Can prob get it much earlier than that. I don't know if yall consider them end game weapons but they have served me well in the past.
  2. PoE2 doesnt react well to your decisions. The world doesn't change all that much and NPS and companions seem to be oblivious at times. I think the game does a great job of adventuring, but the game can be a bit shallow. However the DLC is ridiculously good and def adds the narrative spark. Overall I will say PoE2 is a very fun game to play, much more than PoE1, which had a great story but super clunky encounters and difficulty spikes.
  3. Ah I see what you're saying. Well both is expensive at 3 total Guile but certainly worth consideration. Thanks for answers, didnt think about combining them!
  4. Which one is better for melee vs. ranged? I know Displaced also adds Reflex.
  5. What are the pros and cons? Playing a Trickster right now and a bit confused on the differences. Thx.
  6. I didn't realize there was a bug. I never ran into it. So, maybe? EDIT: Just tried Modwyr with a character I made recently, everything seems to work. Yep. It was a tricky bc they patched the quest so you couldn't just skip ahead and find its owner. To unlock the first tier you have to speak to it, and the dialogue icon wouldn't show up. Glad to hear it's fixed since I started a new playthrough.
  7. Meh. The other unique stiletto is Azure Blade. (in Hanging Sepulchers). It's pretty lackluster (+Accuracy when allies are nearby), unless you have lots of front-liners in your party or use summons. Even then, you wouldn't use it as your end-game weapon as there are easier/better ways to get +Accuracy. Rust's Poignard is utilized mostly because of the bonus to Attack Speed that stacks and applies to both hands, and a fairly decent ability that procs on crit. Rogues with persistent distraction can take advantage of the +Raw Damage vs Flanked. I'm currently rocking Modwyr + Rust's Poignard on my Soulblade/Assassin.... Because Modwyr is BAE and my one true love. Nothing says love like maniacal laughter at the beginning of every combat. T'would probably be more optimal using one of the million sabres out there, but she gets jealous. Did they fix the Modwyr bug where you cant talk to it? I shelved it because of that:/
  8. Rime construct fluid, anyone? Ha now that could scare some ppl away
  9. It's better, fixed a ton of bugs.
  10. I always find myself making a custom Death Godlike Priest of Skaen for my party. I picture him as a sick freak for hire. What you?
  11. I'm actually playing a single class Trickster now but I just started. Up to this pt I've been a big advocate for it being a top tier multi. We shall see...
  12. I hate blanket buffs which is why I don't play on PotD. I'm glad Pillars considers the power gamer, but PotD feels so wrong when your entire party is focused on taking down one boar. It's about feel for me - if it feels off it breaks my immersion completely.
  13. Well to use most of them you have to get more achievements so it's essentially what you're saying. And lol at cheating. It's a single player game honcho, and they drastically increase replayability.
  14. Seems like a self-contradicting statement. "You will get a disc" followed by "there will be no disc". If this was really January 5th and the backing ended February 25th, there was plenty of time to correct the wording of "Physical Box Copy of Pillars II". All "physical box copy" games I buy have a disc AND a steam/gog key as well. I will properly take this directly to support. Yeah that quote is contradictory.
  15. From what I've read and seen the setting is more generic but the writing and plot is better.
  16. Wizards will always be one of the most powerful classes in RPGs. But they are so squishy and wimpy
