Action games are also pretty tedious if you just sit down for 10 minutes. You shoot imps in a hallway... and then what? Nothing, unless you play a bit further to the reward at the end of the level. Action games aren't a lick of a bit different from RPGs in that regard. Nor are they any different for people sending you off to do other things before they open doors. Often you have to go find some obscure key that's all the way on the other side of the base just to open a storage closet. Of course, the inspiration for his post is FF XII. Myself, 5 out of 8 owners of the game on a private forum I regular, and at least one other person on this forum have all either taken extended (indefinitely) breaks from the game or just stopped playing it altogether out of absolute boredom. So, it's not exactly an ideal representative.

Does a candidate's religion matter more than the issues?
Tale replied to Sand's topic in Way Off-Topic
You should support him for his giant cajones. They'd have to be to even think he had a chance in this country. -

Yes and no. I don't believe that religion should have a serious impact, however if an atheist even ran I would have to vote for him. That would be incredibly ballsy. -
So, is the National Academy of Sciences "hacks?" And the NRC which supports the IPCC position. The American Meterological Society? The American Association for the Advancement of Science? Are they just Al's hacks? Or is it that taks just uses insults for those who disagree with him. Where's the "science" behind these claims of attention? Or the calling of hacks? Or the theory they're blinded by their ego?

Judging by my 6-pin card, wouldn't you hook up 2 4-pins? That's how my 6-pin card works, 2 4-pins connect to it, with one of the pins on each missing. I had to buy two extra Y-cables. -.-

101, you say? -
As a bit of a side note, it's pretty sad that when I read this, little progress bars and words like "tech-level" popped into my head.

The Jackson 5 are back? FANTASTIC!

You used a khukri for cutting wood? A very shiney Khukri. A waste if you ask me. So pretty.

If Bush was wanted to save face, he could have arranged a small nuclear weapon to go off when we first dropped "bombs" on Baghdad. "Well looky there people, looks like one of our "bombs" set off one of Saddam's "nuclear weapons". See, I, the Great President Bush was right all along." I know it's only a joke. Well, I don't know you mean that as a joke, but it would be very hard to convince people that a nuclear bomb was set off by another bomb. That's got to be a one in a million shot right there.

What's wrong with the three day week? You still get two days for weekend, right? Sounds pretty snazzy. Is that some sort of British saying?

Me don't think ones that be talking about themselves in the first person plural bes having much of a footing to stand on this subject.

You have to use a code to get the bugged Telos Academy? I did it the old fashioned way, accidentally.

Since all my anti-Jedi vitriol that inspired secret members of the most dedicated guilds across an entire server to side with me in opposition of even their real life friends are now gone, I have no reason to ever visit that forum again.

I would have to gut and restructure my case to get a hope of... no wait, still wouldn't work. My 7900 barely fit in here.

You could always do what I did with that Halfling image. It really settles any attempt to argue with you and is best done in states of questionable coherence.

Congessional Hearing on Global Warming Cancelled Due to Snowstorm
Tale replied to Guard Dog's topic in Way Off-Topic
Which would be even more hilarious. Or perhaps something about attendees of a traffic commission running late. I especially love peace rallies that erupt into violence. Don't do a kite festival on the india-pakistani border is all I'm saying. -
no, he doesn't. name one fact that al claims. and then tell me why you KNOW it is a fact. give you a little hint, don't use the hurricane thing in al's movie because the World Meteorological Organization put out a press release basically saying al didn't know what he was talking about. i.e. there's no link between human activity and hurricanes. really, you've heard everything i've had to say on this matter? curious where my conspiracy claim was... all i said was al had an agenda. look up the definition of conspiracy. oh, btw, just gave you one fact above that al got wrong. you're oh for two so far. it's not my fault you're unable to tell propaganda from fact. taks This must be what you're talking about: http://www.wmo.int/web/Press/PR_766_E.doc A point worth giving you. Now here's this: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...6062700780.html His claim that sea level could raise 20 feet is not as definite as he makes it sound, but it a sincere possibility: http://www.ldeo.columbia.edu/~mstuding/wais.html This is supposedly one of his direct sources for his slide show: http://www.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/short/310/5752/1317 The IPCC, which operates under the WMO: http://www.wmo.int/web/Press/PR_IPCC_E.doc His general claims that we're reaching record high temperatures? Supported by the WMO you are using to cite against him: http://www.wmo.ch/web/Press/Press644.html "

I can't think of anyone who's been convinced by Michael Moore.

hehe, so serious you would trust a politician spreading propaganda? sheesh... i don't even know where to begin to address what is wrong with this statement. simply put, al's got an agenda. i won't go so far to say he's a moron, but he's not far from it, or he thinks the thinking population is stupid enough to believe the horse poop he's shovelling. taks Al Gore backs his claims up with facts and research. Taks backs his claims up with insults and conspiracy claims. I can think of who I would side with in this debate.
