  1. All equipped non-weapons. Honestly, if the absolute first event in the entire game constitutes a spoiler, I don't know what to say. Hey guys, it's titled . Did you know ?
  2. It is rumored that the second movie will try to bridge the gap between the Hobbit and the Fellowship of The Ring. I give more credit to the rumor that the Hobbit is simply split in two.
  3. Do not confuse emos with frickin' NINJAS! That's NINJA MICKEY!
  4. "Unconsumed"... your secret stash of Beer? I couldn't think of a better term for media not engaged in than "unconsumed." We talk about ourselves as consumers of games, consumers of movies, consumers etc. So for games I have not finished, I list them in a tab labeled "unconsumed."
  5. I'm playing Jak & Daxter. The graphics are surprisingly bad, even Daxter on the PSP is world's better. The gameplay reminds me significantly of Crash Bandicoot. The setting and characters are absolutely wonderful. Fun and hilarious. And I've only just started. I'm surprised by how mature the game is. It may be cartoony and silly, but everyone seems to be a bit of a jerk.
  6. This game is an absolute classic. I'm trying to make and organize my entire media library. Books, games, movies, music. This is my first step, I'm getting the titles and information by memory down, one platform at a time. Weekends is when I plan on detailing it and making sure the info is correct, as well as setting up an organization system.
  7. Would it be awesome if they put up the trailer only for it to turn out to be rickroll? y/n
  8. Many elderly care homes offer in-house medical services these days. I admit to remembering nothing about this game other than its famous non-existence. Is it going to be an RPG? First person shooter. A member of a series of FPS games that is notorious for being very macho and crude. Not exceptionally violent, but having evil pigs dressed as cops and lots of strippers.
  9. Do they honestly do that? What they actually do is have you select from a list of topics. This list of topics usually coincides with a word or phrase that the NPC says that you can get more information about. So, if an NPC starts talking about a sword you'll get "sword" on the list to the side. You select sword and the NPC will elaborate on the sword they were talking about.
  10. This is what I posted on Kotaku about it:
  11. I can understand being against no-knock warrants, but a stance against SWAT boggles my mind. How do you expect police to respond to armed groups with body armor and assault rifles? Just let them do whatever they want? You could build an argument for limits on SWAT intervention, but not outright getting rid of. And absolutely nothing to stop organized crime, handle investigations, rural crime, or anything more serious than household robbery.
  12. Well, your friends aren't complete freaks (though they are YOUR friends). I almost came to dislike the game at Chapter 3 for my previously stated reasons.
  13. I think the original topic was about how Jennifer Connelly should return my calls because I love her and how she loves me too and if you have seen any of her movies you would have caught the secret signals that reveal as much.
  14. We should see it by 2020 then. That joke wasn't even funny when it was referring to Half-Life 2.
  15. So you are the exception that proves the rule! Ha! I will cut you.
  16. I'm a Texan who wishes he was British, so I violate quite a few norms.
  17. Persona 3 is definitely a good one. But, it's non traditional. It's like a hybrid of a date/social sim and a random generated dungeon crawl, more than a normal JRPG. And since I see people recommending their personal favorite Xenosaga, I have to say 3. It gets kind of rushed towards the end, but the rest of it is pure joy.
  18. Her name's not Jennifer Connelly.
  19. She apparently has a degree in Psychology from Harvard. If she wasn't 37, I'd find that a turnon.
  20. Yeah, reading the forums I've seen a few mentions of "short adventures" alongside a toolset attributed to the developers.
  21. I want The Witcher 2 now. It may even be in development.
  22. So, to those who've finished the game, it should be blatantly obvious that the Grand Master, Jacques de Aldersburg, is in actuality the little boy Alvin. Apparently this isn't quite so obvious if you chose Shani as a romantic interest as Shani won't mention that Alvin can time travel. There's even some argument on the official forums against this position, but it seems limited and I won't give it any credit. I'm hoping, for those who have finished, we can explore how he changed based upon on our decisions. I notice that we never see or get any detail about him until Chapter 5 starts. Does his appearance change? In my game, he dressed up in full armor. I presume this is because I encouraged Alvin to become a knight. What happens if you encourage him to become a Witcher? Another question I ask is what happens if you don't tell him to stop playing "Kill the elf?" Does he justify the Order's genocide as more than simply a means to an end? The game supposedly touched on racism, but for my game, the racism seemed the traditionally immature facet of racism being the result of manipulation of a higher power, as opposed to it being the result of culture clash or competition for limited resources. But perhaps siding with the racist view might actually present a more mature understanding of racism from the Aldersburg.
  23. Okay, then it's Festivus!
  24. I hope Fallout 3 to be a gigantic financial success, regardless of whether it is a good game or not, just so I can taste fanboy tears.
