  1. I think it is possible for powerful Jedi to sever other Jedi's connections to the Force. Nomi Sunrider did this to Ulic Qel-Droma (from what I know). Maybe the Jedi Masters on Coruscant did that to your character, but since they are dead now the effect is weakening..... Just a guess, since I don't read the EU stuff.
  2. I posted a thread on this awhile ago. I'll see if I can find it.....
  3. Yeh, I went through the whole Star Forge alone on my second play through. I created an uber-saber character who was unstoppable. Its just a case of using the right combination of powers for the right weapons and not wasting any of the points you get through leveling up. But you have to tailor your character with the final product in mind right from the start, which means you suffer a little in the first few hours. I play the PC version, so I had all the extra content some X-Box gamers couldn't get hold of, including the saber crystals. My character was armed with the crystal combos I mentioned above, which did a phenomonal amount of damage, before I even added force powers and combat feats. Also, my dexterity was through the roof. It was practically impossible for anything to hit me, and combined with saber deflection this made me harder to hit with a blaster than Han Solo hiding behind Chewie... The force powers I used to supplement my sabers were normally just Master Focus, Force Jump (instant kill of nearly any enemy - took off 9/10 of Malak's health with one hit), and If anyone was flukey enough to hit me then I just used Force Drain on them to get the health back. Feats I used were Master Flurry and Master Power Strike although my opponents rarely survived long enough for me to use the feats on them. The key attribute was dexterity. Can't remember the figure at the moment but suffice to say I was faster than a blaster shot, by quite a bit.
  4. Saber, without a doubt. I used two sabers in KotOR but the new stances whould tempt me back to classical single saber. Blue or purple. Possibly white if I feel like being an goody two shoes
  5. Rome: Total War mainly, and whatever else takes my fancy. Shame that Republic Commando comes out same time as KotOR 2 for PC.
  6. I upgraded Flurry and Power Strike to master level on my last play through, and I carried two sabers with the following crystals: Mantle of the Force - Solari - Krayt Dragon Pearl Mantle of the Force - Jenruax - Krayt Dragon Pearl (yes I cheated to get two MotF crystals, couldn't resist ) This combination of feats and sabers combined with Master Speed and Master Valour was truly awesome. With just my main character I slaughtered my way through the Star Forge, taking minimal damage. Flurry is useful when your fighting against weaker saber wielding opponents or non-Jedi. Power Strike is most useful against the bigger enemies like Rancors. Unforunately I rarely got to fight for very long because my Force Jump attack usually killed opponents instantly and one strike was usually enough to take down even a Rancor. I'm just too good
  7. I don't think saber hilts are that varied if at all, so I doubt Dooku's style will be featured. I'm a big fan of Revan's Scorpian style, so I vote for that.
  8. First off, I'd like to thank Obsidian Entertainment their hard work and dedication, particularly for making the effort to come on the boards and answer our questions. Obsidian has nothing but my respect and I hold nothing against you. I'll not go into a prolonged rant about LucasArts and Microsoft because this forum is not rated 18. I am disappointed with the release dates for a few reasons and I'll try and outline them without flaming anyone here: 1) My biggest problem is that the release is not simultaneous. Unless PC-players do not touch the internet until February, or possibly later for Europeans such as myself, then they will inevitably be subjected to spoilers which can and will ruin the game (I speak from experiance as KotOR's storyline was spoiled for me). 2) If one of the game versions still needs work on bugs or finishing touches to the game itself then delay both games. This way there is no risk of spoilers, ill-feeling or anything. It also allows the Devs time to do even more fine tuning to the 'completed' version if they wish, resulting in an even better product. 3) Don't break your promises. I quote: "A man who breaks his word is without honour, and without honour we are nothing." Take note of that LucasArts. Finally I appeal to X-Box players not to post spoilers on this forum unless a special sun-forum is set up for them. I do not begrudge you the earlier release of the game, and by all means enjoy it, just please do not ruin the experiance for anyone else. Thank you.
  9. LOL :D They started ducking and dodging attacks from doors... I hope they add that animation, it would be great. Good idea Lightsaber430 and Astatine.
  10. I think the Jedi (or Sith) could imbue their robes with different properties if they wanted to. But otherwise they are all normal unless the wearers imbue them or modify them.
  11. Orange is the colour of the Heart of the Guardian though.
  12. Is it just me or does the centre guy look like that annoying Jedi Master from Dantooine? The one who kept going on about the 'all too familiar path'.
  13. And so could all the clone troopers, since Boba Fett was a perfect clone of Jango Fett, and so were the clones (apart from the individuality of thought bit).
  14. That is the biggest pile of sh1t I have ever seen (including the one in Jurassic Park 1).
  15. Umm...I don't want to spoil anyone's experiance of Ep 3 so I'll just say I disagree strongly.
  16. Exactly. Anakin had the most raw power and talent of any force user, he just didn't learn to master it.
  17. Phew! I thought it might be when it said in the powerful jedi list Luke was more powerful than Yoda, that aint true right? That doesn't even merit a response. But I'll give you one anyway that site is rubbish.
  18. *Sniff sniff* I smell bullsh1t.
  19. He's more of a dumb underling than a Sith Lord isn't he.
  20. And now we have a hopeless fanboy.... Where do you sign up?
  21. If you look at the picture you can see inside the eyeholes of the mask and the eyes and skin are totally black...
  22. Thats kind of intimidating  The screenshots are looking great and getting better.
  23. There had better not be...
  24. What? So you can have hours of fun putting him back together as a jigsaw?
