Why Do You Want The Original Crew To Return?
Catalyst replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I'd like to at least find out what happened to the rest of the crew. I definately want a cameo appearance or two from Revan, possibly Bastila. And we definately have T3-M4 in the party again and possibly HK-47, although some people may have gotten their facts wrong. -
What Country Are All You KOTOR 2 Fans From?
Catalyst replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Lol. How many townies does it take to screw in a lightbulb? 1 to screw it in and 9 more to shout "Innit! Innit! Innit!" :D -
Who would you make a jedi?
Catalyst replied to Darth Sun_Tzu's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The people you can train depends on your alignment. Since I'll be playing LS first time thorugh I'll probably train the Handmaiden. -
I like the idea of HK being sent by Revan to keep an eye on you, then leading you to him eventually....Sorry but I have to see Revan at least once in this game

What Country Are All You KOTOR 2 Fans From?
Catalyst replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I think you'll find that most of the teens you find doing this are townies. For those who don't understand what this means, it means they like dance 'music', dress in blinding white tracksuits, wear lots of 'bling' (fake gold medalions, etc), tuck their tracksuit bottoms into their socks and have a really bad attitude. What I find strange is that most older people in Britain claim that moshers and goths are the vandals, which is in fact wrong. Moshers and Goths tend to be more intelligent, intellectual and articulate. They also have better music taste. Anyways, back to the point, you'll find that people abbreviating their words as mentioned above actually speak like that. I think this stems from one of two reasons: a) They are all 'wannabe' rappers - don't ask me why. b) They want to sound like they grew up on the streets of New York. Perhaps they believe this gives them more 'street cred'. Strange... Anyway, GhostOfAnakin, thats the best I can do to answer your question/rant Please note that there are intelligent, articulate teens in Britain. Unfortunately we are few compared to the townie masses. -
The age old question has been answered

Maybe the lack of sleep is getting to me, but which question is this? -
Yeh, I want to make uber items with it

Han Solo falls in love (and vice versa) with Princess Leia, the twin sister of Luke Skywalker and the are both the offspring of Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala. And yes, a Wookie army features in Revenge of the Sith. Yoda travelled to Kashyyyk to help the Wookies fight the Separatists. You can see them in the new trailer at the Star Wars Official Site.

Items are dissasembled into component parts and chemicals. Using these you can build other items, and some can only be attained by this method. Chemicals go into making grenades, medkits, etc.

That Adegeddan Sapphire sounds interesting aswell, but I've got to get my hands on that one that grows more powerful as you do. Sounds incredible.

Which Weapon You Will Use?
Catalyst replied to Darth Riker Ketra's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
In KotOR I always used dual sabers, either blue or purple. The different saber techniques for TSL will probably convince me to go back to classic single saber though, especially if I can have Revan's Uber Scorpian Style... Which Saber Comabt Form is that btw? I know Mace Windu's is Form VII (the most aggressive), and that Obi-Wan uses Form IV (the most classical - primarily defensive but also badass in attack). -
Hell yeh. First time through I'm going Guardian - Jedi Weapons Master. Pick up every crystal and saber upgrade I can lay my hands on and find a badass black cloak. P.S. Hi Chris Avelone! Reading this topic as I post....
-
They were more common, far more common, but the just became ordinary in KotOR eventually, which they never were.
-
It could be Atris, Kreia or the PC. Any would be great. Fantastic interview. Also, have they really removed the level cap? I thought Akari said that the maximum level was still limited.
-
I'm with you there. They all sound so cool :D
-
Thats one of the things I didn't like about KotOR: Jedi were absolutely ace for a while, then every Tom, D1ck, and Harry you came across was one. It made Jedi seem cheap and common. The movies really managed to get across just how unusual and special Jedi were. I hope that TSL manages this aswell, though I admit it would be difficult. All Jedi Squads were unbeatable, but I didn't like to use them until the Star Forge, whenI didn't really need any NPC's anyway. I used just the PC and Bastila, but when I had to have another I always chose either HK or Canderous. I like the idea of being able to train your own apprentice, it adds more depth to the game, as longa s only one may trained per playthrough, and only after (if) Kreia dies. Two Jedi is enough if you are good enough. Max at three. P.S. Yes, I know I spelt **** wrong, but when its spelt right it does that

Great pics. Even the interface suggests a darker game I'm willing to give Atton Rand a chance, coz lets face it - Han Solo was a damned good character. Going through as a Guardian first time. I'm a saber maniac

North Yorkshire in England. Not very sunny. It rained down like a monsoon all yesterday. Freezing cold today. Good job we're used to it " Thank God for chippies :D -
And who said we never give warm welcomes? Welcome to the boards Suninos.
-
Its strange, my favourite colours are black and purple, but I think the best saber colour is blue....
-
Lol Great quotes, but this isn't the place for a poltical discussion, as my honourable American friend said :D I think I've said it before, but I'll say it again: blue without question. Except if I'm darkside, in which case its purple.

The Official Akari Thank You Thread
Catalyst replied to jaguars4ever's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Akari, thanks for all you've done. You've shown amazing patience with us and we cannot express our gratitude enough. Thanks alot and I hope to see you getting your just rewards. My thanks to the rest of the Development Team aswell, because although they may not have had the time to come and humour us on the boards, they have not doubt been sweating blood to give us as good a game as possible. Thanks alot -
Okay, lets be fair here. Britain founded, or had a hand in the founding, of both America and Canada. We have a history more than triple the length of both yours' combined. We also invented rugby and hockey. And we don't dress up in shoulder pads, body armour and helmets to play rugby either (looks at the Americans). But all this is nothing compared to the following: We do not have George Bush for a President. All that said I quite like the Americans and Canadians as people at the very least (having lived in both). Its just the American politicians that get up my nose, and all those nationalists who want the world to bow to America. The Canadians have the right idea about most things and are downright kool. Make love, not war

A Clue To Who You Can Corrupt?
Catalyst replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I have my suspicions that Visas Marr and the Handmaiden are the same person... -
All the ancient Sith Lords had there tombs on Korriban: Marka Ragnos, Naga Sadow, Tulak Hord, etc. Anyway, in Jedi Academy the whole game is about resurrecting Marka Ragnos, so I doubt they would go for a similar theme in TSL. Also, the small area we see in the teaser was built specially for viewing by the public, so that none of the storyline was given away. It was designed to only show off some of the new abilities and powers available. I think its more likely we get to visit all the tombs in the Valley of the Dark Lords, and since Marka Ragnos was one of the most prominent Sith Lords of all time, its only natural his would be one of the tombs we get to explore. I hope the Valley of the Dark Lords, and their tombs, and better in TSL than they were in KotOR.
