  1. If your talking about where Mira takes the PC then no because thats in the flop house.
  2. Its an area that was cut from the game, This is indicated by the fact that the Map still shows the layout of the room behind the door even though you can't open them. ummm NO! not unless I really missed something on my DS playthrough. Wow have you got your fact wrong! from everything I can understand the HK factory was to either be on telos in the sublevel of the base or on a planet called M4-78 that was too be added at a later Xbox Live DL (one of six that was scheduled but canceled at the end ) Wrong door the door they are talking about is outside on the catwalk in between the flop house and Vogas place (the two doors that show up on the map but you are unable to open).
  3. Doesn't work in general or just doesn't work for this purpose?
  4. Have you tried hooking your old Xbox to your new one via a eathernet cable (i.e. setting up a network between the two)? I know there are ways to game that way but I have never tried it and I don't know if your able to transfer files that way either.
  5. ummm why? I mean if you going to say something with such conviction atleast try to form a supporting arguement.
  6. you can't get a prestige class if you are neutral, you can only get one if your alignment is considerably to one side or the other (something like 75% one way or the other).
  7. even the devs said that if you picked I don't know from you list of choices about revan that he would be a LS Male so really while the site maybe suspect that part of the info is dead on.
  8. yes but sion saw through that techique when Kreia used it on him (when he cut off her hand she was hidding herself from him at the time).
  9. for some reason i got the same feeling. im not sure why that is, because i dont think they actually were smaller than the kotor1 planets. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well atleast I am not the only one who felt this way
  10. Your right I do know the ending but from a gamming stand point I will more than likely play this game a lot before I give up on it (hell I played KOTOR some 60+ times before TSL came out) and I would like to have an ending that makes sense rather than the current ending. I guess it simply boils down to the fact that up to that point in the game I was completly enthralled with the game but once you hit telos for the second time it all goes to hell and even trying as hard as I could to loose myself back into the game I just couldn't because it totally and utterly broke the suspension of disbelief that comes with gamming. I realise that the chances of OE or LA making the proper ending (the ending OE wanted) are slim to none but any chance is better than none. Hell if they didn't want to do it why not just release the frams (saying the ending was programed before D-day) to the mods so they can fix the game. But for OE to forget about TSL would be a mistake since a lot of people and the press aren't happy with the ending as is.
  11. Ok thanks for that I was kinda wondering if that was the case There was one spot of blood on
  12. Your not forced to kill her, you choose to kill her. Presumably she fights back with all the equipment she has and the stats she has to that point in the game. I wouldnt know first hand I've never felt overly compeled to replay the game. But lets assume she does. That is Juhani as she is reflected by the rules and thus the reality. It's not Juhani just dying because the story teller thinks its a good idea. IF Sion can beat Atton on the same playing field fine. But we all know that any decent Atton will kick Sions arse into the middle of next week.So a forced loss or Atton not making full use of his abilities is unrealistic and cheesey. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You do realise that even in real life all it takes is one lucky hit to win the battle right, I mean sure Atton would wipe the floor with Sion but the thing is that if Sion got close enough to be able to hit him then its possible he could get in a lucky hit and manage to lop off Attons arm. Even in a computer game one can still get in a lucky shot/slice... hell I have won certain games because of that. But the thing I guess your really missing is that we just want another verion of the game or a patch for the game, its not like your going to forced to go and buy the game agian or forced to download the patch so why do you care about the modified ending that we want since it wont effect you in anyway shape or form sicne you already have your game and it has the ending you happen to like unlike the rest of us in this thread? I could understand if you were going to be forced to upgrade your current game and you didn't want to but since thats never going to happen, whats wrong with us wanting the ending we want?
  13. Again you dont see a head you see a helmet. It's symbolic. Lopping off someones head is an automatic 15 rating. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You are wrong you do see the face which the last time I checked is part of the head thus meaning we do see the head after it has been cut from the body. Also what do you mean by "automatic 15 rating"? if your talking about an age rating then your a little late to the game because TSL was/is/will always be rated T for TEEN, it says right on the box that its rated teen and thats because of blood and violence.
  14. The planets were ok but needed to be bigger to be great, they all just felt a little too small maybe even smaller than some of the K1 planets.
  15. I must agree that you do have a point, well atleast to a certain point anyway. This type of violence maybe shouldn't be in the game but the thing is that the game is rated Teen thus meaning that no one under 13 should be allowed to play it let alone own it (though we all know they do) and by the time a person these days reaches 13 years of age they have seen worse violence on the evening news or in the friday night movie, than they will in most games out on the market. But this is my point I guess (should I have to make one at this point in time) I would rather have this type of ending (as laid out in the links in the original posters comments) than the ending we were giving at the end of TSL, Atleast with this type of ending we have closure sure it might not be perfect but atleast it fits with some of the story rather than what we were given which didn't fit at all, it tended to leave way to much up to the player to figure out what happened (I will admit leaving some to the imagination of the player is key to the success of RPGs but to just drop the ending into almost a certain nothingness is just wrong). If they could find a happy medium then I thing most would be happy, I mean all I am really looking for is some idea of weather or not my party members even survived till Malachor V and if they survived after. .
  16. Ok so what exactly is your arguement? I mean we are talking about trying to get this put back into the GAME (thus no real people will be hurt) the game is already rated teen thus blood is allowed (even listed on the game box) and it all would fit into the whole starwars world. Also to say the rules have changed doesn't make any sense what so ever because if nothing else the general public has become more or less desensitised to violence since the OT came out some 20 + years ago. Also they wouldn't have to show atton with a bloody stump (I know there would be no blood from a lightsaber cut) you could easily hide it from veiw with shadows and or the PC, all that would be seen would be the intial cut of the blade (more or less the same as we see in the movies).
  17. I think IF they were to re-intergrate the ending into the game by means of a patch/ or expansion disk that it would be a good thing. I guess the main thing is that as long as its not grouped with a critical patch everyone will be happy because then no one is being forced to DL something they don't want. Also to those who are saying "At no point do you see people imobilized and purposefully mutilated thats not Star Wars thats texes chainsaw massacre.. " what about the bar fight on Tatooine where buddy gets his arm sliced off by Obi-won (sp?) or where Guedo (sp?) got shot under the table by han solo. Or on the ewok planet where Leia, han, and Luke had that whole scene where luke and leia know they are brother an sister and Han feels jelous(sp?). Or where luke gets his hand cut off by vader, or vader getting his ass kicked by palpatine via force lightning then vaders death scene. All of these scenes either you see people imobilized and purposefully mutilated or love/death scenes. So really the ending the way that OE wanted it would have very much worked with the whole starwars feel of the game and if nothing else it would have further cemented it into the starwars world than the current ending. edit: NumberMan you beat me too it
  18. Its not a hoax, I have had two of them (one per two plythroughs) out of the four I have done so far, Its called the ultimate D-Package (I think). You can't build it you can only buy it or find it on dead bodies. p.s. there was another thread about this about a week ago.
  19. ouch! I will give you a tip for this time around, save after every level is gained durning the Hississ cheat (some Xbox's are known to have problems as the ammount of Hississ build up something to do with all the calculations being used to figure out the XP). And always use atleast two save files per character (goes for the entire game as well).
  20. ok yeah I think that would take the game to a whole nother level of play mainly because now there would be a chance of cutting your own arm off while trying to fight one of these things. You don't actually fight those. They're the size of a small dog and aren't at all aggressive. All they do is cling to trees and stuff. Shooting them dead is easy enough, provided you can spot them. It's just another of those EU things that sucks big time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ohhh :"> , well I guess there is no hidding the fact that I know little to nothing about EU.
  21. ok yeah I think that would take the game to a whole nother level of play mainly because now there would be a chance of cutting your own arm off while trying to fight one of these things.
  22. WHO? I can understand that fallen jedi and gimps are fairly weak in the over all scheme of things, but who or what might I say is the Ysalimiri? Now the true sith empire might give them a run for their money power wise I can't say I really gave that much thought. I guess the devs could always explain away why the PC (beit Revan or the Exile) is back to level one by simply saying that the power rating is based off of the average power of people around them (i.e. gimps) thus making them a lot stronger than the norm but when compaired against someone/thing from the true sith emipre they would be fairly weak by comparison. Though this would be a fairly weak way of explaining it not to mention it would cause a rather large uproar from people who follow the D20 rule set like a bible *cough* Hades *cough* .
