Yeah the Beks base had three of those damb places but they left the ability to select the doors. Only problem is if you tried to hack the door they would attack you.

I don't think so because I have played where Narshadaa was my first planet after telos and I have also played where it was my final planet before the second/final trip to dantooine and both times those doors don't work.

the only thing anyone can guess is that it was but before release, though why they left the map in the game no one has figured out yet.

You can use the underlays with the Robes. It's not much, but it is better than nothing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think what most people are complaining about is that you can only use certain underlays with jedi robes (i.e. The one that allows you to regain health, but not the strengthing one).

Your right it wouldn't have been that hard and infact that was exactly what was happening until that thread was locked (because six posts went off topic) <_< . So now because it was locked we are forced to endure MANY threads on the same subject. Oh and should they be locked/delted then I am willing to bet that many more will result from that action as well. Also in reality there have only been four or five threads on KOTOR 3 since this info was released a week or so ago.

If a lot of you are so damb sick of reading posts about our collective theories on KOTOR 3 then why in the HELL are you bothering to read the posts? They have all be clearly stated in the title line or atleast aluded to (which can be confirmed by simply reading the first line or two) So why bother even going into these threads to begin with if all your going to do once inside them is b!tch about how much you hate threads on KOTOR 3? I mean come one I know I can't swin so I generally stay the hell out of the water so please use some common sense and avoid the threads you don't like rather than purely spamming them.

Then use your last autosave to continue from. it should put you back in the parth traya(sp?) academy... where is another question... though really I don't imagine you care as long as you can finish your game.

ahh yes but who knows LA might have just meant that international airports will have it but the game stores/players will have to wait until june before they can get their copy. Also I am guessing that they wouldn't screw the pooch agian and not release the PC version all around the world at the sametime, I mean it would be bad for business to only release the US PC version since within a half hour of someone getting it, it would be on the internet for free.

There are four downed ships, The easiest way to get to them is to go through and kill EVERYTHING with the exile first. Then you can take you time to float to the ships without having worry about getting slaged by the storm beast.

Well you can bypass the finding new fuel source mini quest and that way they have no fuel, but other than that no you can't you must always fight Darth NI, and also jsut incase your wondering you don't get a movie that shows it crashing into the planet.

There is no memory wipe in this game!!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> very true but he could also be meaning that you (the player) has no idea who the exile is at the start of the game.... though I am willing to bet s/he didn't pay that close of attention to the game if they worded it like that.

Do you have a save file close to the fight with Sion? if so I would use it because there isn't anyother way to get around it (atleast that I can think of).

its moderatly explained in the first part of the game that during battle you block yourself off from the other so that you don't feel the others pain and I would guess this is the loop hole that Obsidian used to explain why when kreia dies you didn't and nor did the rest of the life in the universe.

should the be Feb 9 or 11...(I think). Though with the way the whole release things been going with this title it could be next christmas before the UK gets it.

Now that may not be accurate. KotOR II was in developement right before KotOR I was released. It was announced around 6 months later. So KotOR III could very well be under developement now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wasn't it also true that Lucasarts fired all the people working on it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As far as I know it was never confirmed. Hey can I get a link to that, because I have yet to see anything offical about them stopping production, everything I have seen is un-offical and rumors. Also not to sound too stupid here but what would Atari have to do with KOTOR? I thought they were a seporate company from LA and didn't have any rights to the KOTOR series?

Ok not to be completely dumb here but why are some of the picts in yellow text while the rest are in green? At first I was thinking it was because those were items that were cut from the game but I read that atleast some *say* they have gotten all of these robes so whats the deal?

I have a couple questions for everyone (and this is not a shot at the devs... even if it might sound like it in parts). 1) If the game is in developement what makes you think that whoever is developing it would say so? 2) With all the crap being thrown at you devs over the rushing of TSL to the "Gold" status, do you think that LA would tell you if they decided to make the game with another developer (I realize that it wasn't your fault [atleast not entirely] but I know myself I wouldn't risk the bad press and hand a project back over to a company that is getting bad press right now)? 3) Why is everyone taking an unconfirmed report as proof of KOTOR 3 being quashed? if someone can please produce an "OFFICAL" internal memo, or "OFFICAL" LucasArts pink slip proving that what was published about this is fact, All I ever saw was an un-confirmed report about it happening, So please if you happen to have one of the above please provide it and then I will take it as fact but until then don't argue that one thing is fact and that another isn't because neither is or was confirmed. Anyway thats all for now, once again none of these questions are ment as a shot at the devs.

SWG tries to PUNISH you for becoming a jedi (thats the main reason I closed my 2 accounts there). Hell, if you go look at their boards you will see the player base (the limited player base that actually posts, huge minority but the only ones vocal) want the Jedi to be even less apart of the game. If your looking for a Star wars game that doesnt have jedi, SWG the way to go (even tho its now one of the worst SW games on the market). How bad SWG is does however hilite how IMPORTANT Jedi's are to a SW game. SWG has almost no Star Wars feel to it what so ever. Rant on/ PS: For those speaking about engine and how a fan site COULD get and release the information before LA or Obsidian (assuming they make Knight 3 that is). THINK PEOPLE THINK! Seriously, who is more likely to know and do a press release om the changing of the engine for a HUGE MONEY MAKER like KotOR series. Lucas Arts or Joes_im_a_star_wars_nerd.com. Come on folks, think about it. ANY changes to any part of KotOR series will be huge news that could in fact impact the financial success of such a money making venture as KotOR series will be put out AND SPUN FAVORABLY by Lucas Arts. Simple as that. ANY news coming from "other sources" is made up BS to increase (or keep active at current level) hits to a privately owned website with NO real news to report. Simple as that. Hits = income, hense false news that promotes more hits is a good thing over short term. People beliving the fake news over the long term = even greater income! The BEST a privately ran website can do is get on a bussiness related newsletter from these corperations and report news 12-24 hours AFTER the corps main site has reported it. I know this for fact, having attempted to run a fan site in the past. Rumors, assumptions, guess's are exactly that, they have no REAL factual basis regarding the topic. While they might make for interesting conversation they are FALSE until verified by the Corp (LA in this intance). People who run fan sites making up news is nothing new for the internet. Point is, unless you read it on LucasArts.com or Obsidian.com its FALSE! Plain and simple. Anyone tells you otherwise is just lieing to you. Also, if they REALLY was a leak that was leaking info, how long do you really think it would take LA to track it down. They have been burnt in the past from leaks, they take them very seriously. Point is, go ahead and read fan sites for entertainment (some have really good content on them), but if you read something NOT supported by the main players FIRST, then there is a 99% its false and/or made up. The best place for KotOR3 news is (gasp) LA website followed by Obsidian website (again assuming Obsidian is doing part 3 as well). There is NO third, fourth, fifth, ect. places Rant off/ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To be honest there are reasons why a company would put something like this out there without making it offical (though I doubt this is one of those situations). The one reason I can think off of the top of my head is to poll the general player/veiwer as to their reaction to the news, with the advent of the internet it has been easier to keep track of the veiws of your target market (via forums mainly or new groups) obviously when something is un-offical it tends to stir a type of response to either love or hate the idea (while yes a certain portion of the target market will discount the news as bunk mainly because it is "un-offical" it will still give a general feel for the publics veiw on a topic). Thus allowing the producers to farther refine the product to meet the wants of the target market and thus gain a higher profit at the end of it all. Also by doing things this way it allows for a product to basically get free publicity and also it tends to cost alot to gather the same information I discribed above via conventional means (i.e. study groups and marketing studies) which also helps in raising the porfit margine for the aformentioned product/company. But anyway your a right the best place for offical info is the either the producers website or the developers website, since they are obviously going to be closer to the product than anyother site out there.
