Have ever even been skiing at all? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, but I heard stories. Stories that would chill a man to his bones. Poor Sonny. If there was to be something that killed him it should have been Cher. But no, it was a vicious tree that leaped at him while he skied.
  2. That is not how Domains work. Domains are spheres of influence that the cleric's god holds. The cleric cannot have more than 2 domains even if his or her god has more than two domain influences. They are bonus spells and one special ability. That is it.
  3. It looks too action oriented for my tastes. I got my fill of action heavy RPG-lite with a first person view from Oblivion.

I wouldn't want to go skiing. Too many trees can just leap at you and kill you while enjoying yourself.
  5. Kind of like the Half-Lives but in a CRPG.

I really don't know which is worse. The snow or a constant 3 to 4 day drizzle of rain.

I think it means that the NPCs act on their own accord. Strike up conversations with other NPCs or walk up to you if they have something to say. That sort of thing.
  8. FR is pretty generic, that is why it is the most often used fantasy setting on the computer front and why I no longer use it in my PnP game.
  9. Would I get the same benefits if I eat vegetarians? *I kid, I kid!*
  10. Okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay... *doesn't make eye contact, slowly backing away to a safe distance, RUNS!*

He has no smiley so he must be real. Only the bots use the smiley.
  13. So logic is the tool of reason which needs to be tempered with empirical evidence in order to accurately percieve the reality of our existence.
  14. Following that thought, my dear Dark Raven, would that not mean the prophets of old, from Mohammad to all the way back to Adam, be considered unstable?
  15. Maybe not a remake but a sequel would be nice. If a sequel was made I have a friend who would have a major joygasm.
  16. So, one needs both logic and empirical data to come to what is termed reality. Now what of those who have claimed to "experienced" God or some other divine spirit through 3 or more senses. They have gathered the empirical data for themselves proving that God exists. Should they be labeled as people with serious psychological problems or be taken seriously?

  18. I do agree that people have taken the "political correctness" idealogy to extreme. In moderation however it can be a good thing for it keeps people attuned to the need of diversity, but in some cases it can be detrimental of good sense.
  19. Alanschu, very well written and you make very valid points on both logic and homosexuality. I will have to check out that book at some point for I do love reading good books about the natural world, specifically on animal behavior and how it relates to the human condition. The Last book I read on that subject was Jane Goodall's In the Shadow of Man. Good read if are into that sort of thing.
  20. If it is, then it is, and if not then it's not. Does it really matter if Big Bottom is Feargus? Just another poster to me.
  21. yeah, they can wear up to heavy armor, and make use of all light weapons, and specific martial weapons based on their god's favored weapon or by their domain choices, add to the fact they don't suffer from spell failure in casting in armor, but that doesn't make them Uber. It doesn't. Not at all.
  22. Good or bad are abstract concepts relative to the individual, Colrom.
