  1. As Colin Powell once said, and I am paraphrasing, we have broken Iraq and now we need to fix this mess. A cut and run policy would do us and the Iraqis no good so for better or worse we need to remain on the task at hand till peace is secured.
  2. Do you have the 2 disc version or the 4 disc version?
  3. If you think that I am Hades then I won't do anything to try to change your mind due to my experience the more one vehemtly denies the more guilty he seems to be. <_<
  4. No. Take a look at the date that I registered: 6-October 06. About the same time I joined the Bioware forums to discuss NWN 2.
  5. It is the purpose of government to act in the self interest of those who it governs, however censorship is never in the best interest for a society that wishes to become modernized and be seen as a progressive power which seems to be Iran's justification for their nuclear power program.
  6. So, this person has pulled this sort of stunt before, eh? It seems Kor's assessment is correct.
  7. We are definitely responsible for the invasion of Iraq and the actions we have taken since then but it is my understanding that we are indeed helping these people to have better lives, and while the insurgents reaction is because of our invasion, they are ultimately accountable for their reactions.
  8. If you use the Unearthed Arcana paladin subclass Paladin of Slaughter, you can have a fairly nasty Chaotic Evil Paladin.
  9. How do you come to that conclusion?
  10. I view them more as puzzle adventures. Using today's technology and game engine they could be considered interactive cinematics. Hmmm... I think the gameplay of Monkey Island would be quite different if it used the Odyssey engine or the Obsidian's version of the Aurora's engine.
  11. Interactive cinematics. Most newer games have agameplay style to them that mimics the cinema than games released in the past.
  12. I agree. Also the US and coalition forces need to be held accountable when they make mistakes such as that. Accountability is indeed a two way street.
  13. Blaming the US forces on insurgent attacks is wrong and illi-informed. The insurgents chose to attack and kill innocent people, they are to be held accountable for their actions, not our soldiers.
  14. The deaths in Iraq are regrettable and probably some of the people who have died might not have if we had not invaded, but what could have been or might have been is irrelevant to the reality that we are currently in. Iraq is in trouble, we have a responsibility to render as much aid as we can, and once the new government can establish a lasting peace within the factions of the Iraqis then we can focus on the future.
  15. Ah, the days where games were games, and the men were thickly pixeled. I liked the Maniac Mansion series more than the Monkey Island series.
  16. I happen to agree with Kor. This is a bit too melodramatic, especially for an internet forum of a game company.
  17. I regretfully have to pass on that invitation. Those are a fine list of actors and actresses, but will the game itself be worth playing? That is most important factor.
  18. A paladin cannot worship a chaotic aligned deity. Paladins are restricted to deities that are only one notch away from Lawful Good so only Lawful Good, Lawful Neutral, and Neutral Good deities are allowed to have Paladins. At least that is my understanding of the rules.
  19. I get that but there were those who were acting like it was end of the world, crying and gnashing of teeth, because Atari didn't have their website finely tuned on time.
  20. As you know, the clothes (in this case armor) makes the man.
  21. That is what I thought after playing it for a while. After a stint with Arcunam I went to Neverwinter Nights 1. Still playing that game. Going to give Dragonshard a peek though.

    Le P

I am wondering what made you look this sort of information up in the first place.
  23. I never really got into Arcanum. It was a bit too funky.
