Should Apes be given "Human" Rights?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/6505691.stm An interesting article if I do say so myself. Given that the miniscule genetic differences (just 1%) between us Humans and the chimpanzee should these primates be given the same rights as any of us?

Feargus Fun at RPG Codex
Hey, I did, but then I decided it really wasn't worth the trouble or the money. I have been seriously been thinking of doing my own site and basically write up not game reviews as the norm but full length essays and technical response critiques of the game in question, but then again who gives a smeg what I think. I certainly don't.

An Act of War?
Well, it has been reported by the people of Iran that they view their president as the Iranian version of George W. Bush.

An Act of War?
I am wondering if Great Britain will end up going to war with Iran over the captured soldiers. If so, I wonder how many nations will be willing to give them support. If they do I do hope that Bush and Congress can see the wisdom in not joining them in giving support of troops and equipment for we are already in a 2 front war in Afganistan and Iraq. Showboating prisoners one thing I do detest. Either execute them for crossing your borders as combatants or return them if it was an honest mistake.

Are you disappointed with Obsidian?
You do have a point there, Grommie. I do hope they give Aliens a better clincher than KotOR2 and NWN2.

The shape of things to come
Then, oh great one, explain how owing and being owed money on a constant and uneven basis is a good thing. Please enlighten me. A few years back the US was borrowing on average $665 Billion annually from foreign lenders. That is on average about $5,500 a year per household. I just don't have $5,500 just laying about to pay for this yearly acquired debt, Alanschu. With some of this debt being owed to potentially hostile nations such as China and with our economy stagnating I think it is a very much a bad idea to continue this course. Along with the growing trade deficit in many markets we are becoming more and more dependent on foreign interests. That is a bit of bad thing. "The United States Government: Sponsered by China" is definitely something I would not want to see.

I saw it as a live action over the top movie based on a comic book. Entertaining, but that is it. Sometimes a duck is just a duck.

That is why it is important to find a game reviewer with similar tastes to yourself.

The shape of things to come
Did I say that we should stop trading with other countries? No. Did I say that we shouldn't defend ourselves against hostile nations? No. Did I say that we shouldn't find cures for diseases that plague us? No. When a nation attacks us, then we should attack in full force as quickly and as efficiently in a way that nation can never harm us again. The US has the most powerful and technologically advance military in the world and so far we have used it with one arm tied behind our backs. Those who attack us deserve our full fury and no mercy. Those who just spout empty rhetoric should be ignored. In any case Iraq was not our problem. Saddam had no way to harm US Citizens on US soil. The UN had him contained. The only threat he was to anyone was his own people, therefore their problem. I say good on the Democrats on forcing the issue of pulling our troops out and I hope they do not back down from the president who has abused his power for far too long.

Mkreku is a game reviewer, someone who is paid to give his opinions for a game site. If you are looking for an unbias game reviewer then you might as well go look for the proverbial needle in the haystack because by the very nature of the work of being a game reviewer you need to be opinionated and every opinion has a bias.

am not a fan o' moderation... multiple meanings intended. regardless, we doubt Gromnir ever gets a Christmas card from fergie... not his biggest supporter. oh, and oblivion is kinda like all-you-can-eat cafeteria food. sure, there were lots o' oblivion, many hours o' game play, but Gromnir were full after the first few hours o' gameplay. can only stomach so much mystery meat... fact that there were a seemingly endless supply o' crap not somehow make it more palatable . however, please note that Gromnir were happier to see oblivion do well than we were 'bout any other game in past 5 years. virtually every developer since bg2 has been telling us that games of such scale as bg2 were no longer possible. bio developers and obsidian developers and pandemic, irrattional, troika and others all claimed BIG and 3d were mutual exclusive. is oblivion success that helped put a stop to fergie 20 hour nonsense? maybe. heck, if toee had been as big a hit as oblivion, then we would have seen bunch o' tb crpgs. oblivion helped slow trend in favor o' ever shorter crpgs, and for that alone we is thankful. HA! Good Fun! I don't know abouit that. You can still beat Oblivion's main quest under 20 hours.

The first step in becoming a better person is to admit what you are. I am a complete and totally irrational git that can be very friendly one moment and then spout off venomous vitriol for no reason the next. In either case most what I type here is complete and total drivel that has no bearing on reality. At least I am not a smoker or a drunk, though it might help.
