  1. Invading a country on false pretenses is always a mistake regardless what country it is and who its leader was.
  2. Maybe, just maybe, I don't know but maybe DnD is not Tolkien. GEE! WHO WOULD HAVE THUNK IT!
  3. This isn't World War 2, Volourn. We didn't invade or attack Japan or Germany until we ourselves were attacked. Iraq was a mistake from beginning to now and it is far past time to correct that mistake.
  4. I had another successful session and the characters are progressing nicely. The players are slowly figuring out the enemy Ghalasi, the chaositech-based Warforge but haven't quite figured out the purpose of the Obelisk pointing downward into the rift that leads to the Sea of Souls. One player thinks it is a weapon and he is right! BWAAHAAAHAAAA! So, all they have to do is to figure out how to destroy about a hundred or so constructs, and cybered humanoids, and Ghalasi itself before they find a way to activate the obelisk and destroy all the unborn souls of the world. So far this has been a good day!
  5. Exactly, MC. DnD elves aren't good looking humans with pointed ears.
  6. Aren't those invisible quantities seeable now with current technology such as the electron telescope?
  7. As much as I hate MMOs... Guild Wars in how they set that game up is the best of the bunch. At some point I do plan on getting the expansions.
  8. Wildshaping is a fun little ability. Tiny lil' Halfling... GIAGANTIC BEAR CHARGING!

*pounces on Jorian Drake and shoves a burning torch down his throat* Whoops, wrong witch.
  10. That is basically how I run my life but then again I do have whims that shifts one behavioral extreme to another, which can seem hypocritical to those observing. Bleh... In any case from all accounts Heaven sounds like a dull place. Hell sounds like a place to avoid. I think I prefer to be in the middle here on Earth after I die. Find a good place to haunt.
  11. Open and install already! ONE OF US! ONE OF US! ONE OF US! ONE OF US! ONE OF US! ONE OF US! ONE OF US!
  12. Yes, but what of those who never had any exposure to any aspects of the God of Abraham, like the Native American tribes prior colonization? Many Native American cultures venerate spirits, not gods per se, and polytheistic.
  13. If we can have Jade Empire's combat capabilities with Bloodlines character customization, with a story that is on par or better than both those games we would have the ultimate game in the Action CRPG genre.
  14. I'm trying to be not as intolerant as I have been in the past but sometimes it just irks me how some very intelligent people, such as yourself Guard Dog as well as Dark Moth and Blank for example, on this board place faith and what I consider backwards thinking higher than rational thought and scientific/technological progress. It irks me to no end. Grrrr...
  15. I started as an Christian then became what I have now. Its not Atheism, it is definitely not Christianity. I think it is a Cynicistic Nostic. Um... Something like that.
  16. Yes, but are you truly doing it to repent, or are you doing it so that you won't be accountable for your sins and avoid spending all of eternity being tortured?
  17. Nice speel, Blank, and though that is one interpretations, with some thought behind it mind you, I really don't care to be saved. I am what I am, and I will live my life as I deem fit. If that saves me in the eyes of God, so be it. If not, oh well. However I will never worship a God who uses eternal torture as a punishment for those who do not follow him. No sin is terrible enough for that to be just and good. Also I don't see how punishing someone else for my actions as just or good either. If I do the crime then I am the one to be punished. I take responsibility for my actions.
  18. Okay, you win.
  19. There are many other computer users on this board that could use a new computer more than you could. ' All I have is a poor and tired Sempron. A socket 754 CPU. It is so taxed but it tries. One day its Cache is going to give out and that will be it. Oh, poor Sempron CPU, poor Socket 754 Sempron!
  20. From what i have read of the game I hope Fallout 3 is not like this at all. First person view only in a CRPG? No thank you.
  21. Ridiculously funny! I did the same with my last game of ToEE. A bunch of naked halflings kicking and hitting everyone to death! WHEEEEEEEEEE!
  22. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070321/ap_on_el_pr/clinton_ad The creator has been exposed! Too bad he resigned from his job for he seemed very talented.
  23. I made a party of 6 monk halflings one time. It was interesting seeing them fight.
  24. Better yet. You could buy me a new computer.
  25. I would think that going SLI with a couple of high end 8600s would be a more economical choice.
