  1. With the right spells and the right mods the new height and girth options can give you interesting camera views... Like this one!
  2. DnD loses it's charm after about 10 - 12 th level. Time to start a new campaign. Totally agreed. I way prefer low level adventures and mods for any D&D system. I also prefer way less magic. By the end of most D&D games, I'm drowning in magic crud. I understand having a magical weapon, but I don't need my toenail clippers to have a +5. In one of my campaigns a Spoon of Disintergration was used. Very useful when tunnelling. Not very useful for breakfast.
  3. Mkreku, why not an updated version of the old Autoduel CRPG. A Car Wars type game, with full GURPS character development with fast pace and cross country fighting Mad Max style would kickarse!

    What if...

I would cry a thousand tears, for it would be my worst fear, then I would have to get drunk on beer and end up somewhere not here.
  5. The problem was, Spider, I had a mod in my override that used an Appearance.2da file. When I removed it everything worked as advertised.
  6. Beep... beep... beep...
  7. Actually it is pretty repetitive. You do the same key punching for every style. Now if there was a bit of variation such as using the anolog stick in a rotation while hitting the attack button which allows you to do a roundhouse kick, or something like that, would increase the interactivity of the game. As for the RPG side of things, it is very very very rules light and they could have easily made it completely hidden in the backgroun, making it a story driven action game, and along with the increase in combat control and interactivity made a better game. Would it still be a CRPG? No, but I think the game overall would have been better for it.
  8. Is that the John Travolta Punisher or the Dolph Lundgren Punisher?
  9. We need good hardcore tough computer role playing games with smart AIs. If it is too tough for the pansies, well that is what the difficulty slider is for.
  10. Pool of Radiance-Remastered Chapter 1: http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=NWN2M...etail&id=63 Tragedy in Tragidor: http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=NWN2M...etail&id=83 Those are the only two I messed with and they aren't too bad. The only downside to them is that they do the who cinematic view when it comes to conversations even though the conversations have no voice to them. I much prefer the standard method, unless the module has full voice.
  11. Leonard Nimoy going "Beep" is what made the game for me. "Beep... beep... beep..."
  12. I like the Icewind Dale series. They are one set of series that would work wonders being remade for NWN2, or even NWN1.
  13. Halfling on minimum settings. Next, a Half Orc on maximum settings!
  14. Rob help me with my problem. I forgot that I had a mod in the override that used the Appearance.2da. Here is a pic of a halfling rogue next to Lewry's pig in the tutorial as well a size comparison to a chicken.
  15. I rather have a chicken.
  16. I bought Fable, used, for the X Box a long time ago... Then promptly returned it the next day for a full refund.
  17. Beta patches are sent out to numerous people to test on varied machines. More machines testing means more feedback, and more bugs found so that the programmers can make more fixes. Also with the way WotC and Atari like to keep control of things it is good to release the beta while Atari deals with all the red tape til it is released in its final form.
  18. The day that Bioware makes a plot twist that I can't predict correctly will be the day Satan will require to use a shovel to get to work.
  19. When going for cool there is no such thing as an unnecessary expense.
  20. Which is why I don't want epic levels..
  21. Commando is good but prefer Predator, though Commando has very good one liners. My favorite is "I let him go." *SPLAT!*
  22. I think it is a prudent measure. I judge acompany's support structure based on their latest game for their latest game using relfects their most recent policies on such matters as support and patching.
  23. They probably not having the same bugs as I do. Sometimes bugs so up. Sometimes they don't. Nonetheless, if I knew Jade Empire for the PC was going to be a fire and forget game I wouldn't have bothered getting it. A PC game that gets no post release support is worthless. If this is how Bioware is going to treat their PC audience now, after the superb suport they gave NWN1, then I feel sorry for those who plan on getting Dragon Age. I for one am not going to get Bioware's next game till I see how well they are going to support it.
