  1. You're probably thinking of the scripted CYOAs (Choose Your Own Adventure), there's going to be plenty of those.
  2. I suppose it also counts as pre-purchasing the game, right? I'm in. duh, of course it does. Still in though. Edit: How the heck do I find the zip code associated with the card? Never had to do that before, *grumble* *goes and looks at bank account*
  3. There's also Gramrfel the Wayfarer, that wierdo death godlike who can meet you at the crossroads of Magrans Fork after first visiting Defiance Bay. Also, I think one of this companions can also be a moon godlike, not sure. I looked at the godlike category on the PoE wiki and there are also two bounty targets who are godlikes. Apart from the bounties, yeah, that older drunk and Gramrfel the Wayfarer are the only non-backer godlike characters that I know of.
  4. Nope. 11 deities, 11 godlike types possible only. But there will be no new godlikes in the game. Which god would the nature godlike be for though? Galawain has an association with nature, but that's just by dint of being the patron of carnivores. There isn't any deity that specifically represents nature. There has been some speculation that Takehu is actually a Galawain godlike, since there's already an Ondra godlike, the Moon godlike. That kind of customization would definetly be awesome, though no hint or word of that so far.
  5. Palleginas idle posture looks a lot like an 'about to draw sword' posture.
  6. Wasn't it pretty much assumed that Takehu woild have an unique shapeshift? After all, Hiravias did, even if it was just a recolor of the cat shapeshift. Though it'll definetly be something entirely different from the usual due to his unique.... situation.
  7. Aren't her superors politicians? I'm not familiar with Dragon Age though, besides hearing of it.
  8. I wouldn't say that their society has a propensity for laws and contracts, the only parts we saw were the politics side and trading (where you'd expect a propensity for laws and contracts), and little else. Vailian culture is going to have a MUCH larger presence in Neketaka (the de-facto capitol of the Deadfire) outside of politics and trade, so, we'll definetly see more aspects of Vailian culture.
  9. Sounds exactly like what they're trying to do, remove all checks and balances to power.
  10. As rjshae said, it's in Asian mythology and some works of fiction have that too. As do some games out there.
  11. I don't care much about killing them. Just encountering them. It could be interesting if we could ally with them, befriend them, decieve them, intimidate them, mess with their agenda etc. Just let them be some super powerful character without having to just kill them or walk away and never do anything else with them. Yeah, with the Adra dragon and the Sky dragon, at least theres a path that doesn't lead to fighting. I wish there was a way to not fight the Alpine dragon, but I guess he's too insane with his sickness to listen to reason. And that red dragon was all "NO! You gonna take my pretties! MY PRETTIES! MINE!" and we all know how dragons love their loot.
  12. I was going to remark on the cats one (which did sound ridiculous), but figured you weren't being serious anyway.
  13. I'm thinking of doing a rogue/monk multiclass combo. Not sure what combination of skills, but there are a bunch which aren't dependent on on being unarmed which would definetly benefit rogue and I'm sure there are rogue skills that would benefit monk. Here's the concept that I made a few months ago with PoE2 in mind. Also, given how spiritshifted druids can only do 'unarmed', even if the spiritshift form has claws, I wonder how the spiritshift focused druid subclass will interface with monk.
  14. Nixon and his lawyers actually looked at that a couple days before he resigned and decided they couldn't.
  15. There is supposedly going to be a whole lot more unique items in PoE2, which will help some. I think anyway, it's rather ancedotial (not sure if the devs actually said that or not), so, don't take my word for it.
  16. DnD has infinite storage too, they're called 'bags of holding'.
  17. Josh Sawyer did say in the July 12th twitch Q&A that there were still some issues going on with the titan at the time and some things weren't implemented yet.
  18. To be honest, I have a feeling that if the three companions weren't returning, there wouldn't be quite as much complaint about it. Most of us are likely to play with those three in the first run, which is totally fine, however, in the E3 vid and some others, we've seen Maia be in the only other available slot. So, doing it without a dedicated healer should stil be viable. Besides, you have the multiclassing and Paladins already have some team healing abilities.
  19. Your main talker is ALWAYS your main character, no matter what. As for the mechanics guy, I've had Aloth and Durance be the mechanics specialists in separate plays.
  20. I think that's the explaination already given. Pretty much everybody has pointed that out with the fact that the companions would have to be explained away as being at level 1 rather than 16. As for the weapon, that would work as an explaination.
  21. I suspect that it has more to do with the godlike status and less to do with biological sex or infertility. Her mention of it is also the only mention of it I believe. It does open up some cultural and legal repercussions, yeah, though I don't expect the Obsidian team to spend a huge amount of time dwelling on the legal fine print of the culture while culture-crafting. Given how the Vailians have a very significant presence in the Deadfire, we might see more references to it.
  22. He's going to be hugely popular with the Trump supporters. No doubt about his public speaking abilities. Spicer was like a pinwheel that you could tell which direction he was spinning. I fear mucci you'll know everything is being spun bit it's hard to tell which way, without the proper knowledge of the subject. He's gonna peddle a lot of bull****, I can see it now. Sarah H. Sanders is going to be the WH Press Secretary though, not Scaramucci.
  23. I think you're overthinking it there rjshae.
  24. Oh, didn't know that about the buffs, thanks. Sounds a bit more intuitive to me compared to the current system.
