Whoa, whoa, whoa, there aren't cameras in every single courtroom? I know Ive seen various YouTubes where all hell breaks loose in a courtroom during a trial but maybe all courtrooms aren't equipped with cctv? Id honestly be shocked if every single word and action weren't being recorded. Now that I think of it, whats up with still using a court stenographer in todays day of digital recorders? I guess it depends on the trial, like how OJ's trial was heavily televised inside there while Cosby's wasn't. Though OJ's trial was just as the 24 hour news phenomenon was starting to take off.

I suppose that's the gist of it. I haven't played it. For some background, you can choose three sides, the Disfavored (made up of 'Northerners', from the Northern part of the empire, basically Roman legion in fighting style), the Scarlet Chorus (best described as a violent lawless horde, they recruit from everywhere. The Scarlet Chorus based companion in the game is herself born in the Tiers, the region the game takes place in), the rebels in the Tiers, or you can just go rogue and be the enemy of everybody. The Disfavored are actually pretty damn bigoted, not against color, but against anybody not of 'Northerner blood'. The Scarlet Chorus aren't anti-equality in any sort of moral way, but they pretty much go by survival of the fittest. They're a chaotic horde because their Archon leader wants it that way. The beastmen, basically treated as slaves by both the big armies (Disfavored and Scarlet Chorus), and most people treat them like crap. You can choose whether to befriend, ally, betray, or even slaughter the Stonestalkers, which are the tribe that features most in Tyranny. If your choices were restricted like you could only respond to something or do something in a certain way, then yeah, claims of trying to push an equality narrative might be valid, but it doesn't do that. Basically, if someone wanted to view it as some kind of message about equality, there are definetly things they can use.

What?! Speak English please, I also know German and Farsi but still...English is preferred. I meant 'the usual' as in whatever is the usual response or way things are portrayed as far as the US goes and "collective 'there he goes again'" since he's done that kind of blustering rhetoric before. I'm not a fan of Trump either and I didn't mean it as a jab against Iran, though I can see how it might be percieved that way, sorry. Basically I'm just wondering how Iran is covering it.

@Katphood: lolwut the Russians hyping it up. Wonder how it's seen in Iran though, are they hyping it up or is it just the usual along with a collective "There he goes again."?

Speaking of homosexual relationships in the game, in Tyranny, there's this lesbian couple in Lethian's Crossing which consists of the rich granddaughter (or great-granddaughter, not sure) of the town's founder and her girlfriend. Then the rich girl ends up getting murdered by the other girl and I was like O.o 'Why did they do that to the gay couple?' when I saw that for the first time. I totally got that it was purely due to greed and not because lesbians are predators or some bull****, it just surprised me that they went there. No idea who wrote that part of the game though, In PoE, I'm not sure if there are any homosexuals or transgender, I didn't really notice any. Though in Stalwart (White March), when you're looking at peoples souls for one that's a descendant of Durgan's Battery dwarves and looking at peoples memories, you can find in the inn, one that implies a homosexual relationship.

Trump's move now, with a 50/50 chance of further escalation.

The difference is that those liberal celebrities that you speak of usually push for said things. It didn't seem like they were overtly doing anything like the stuff that conservatives don't like. I'm liberal/progressive/left-leaning myself, so, maybe someone else would see it differently.

Can't tell if you're being serious with the question or not. If it's a critique of the wiki, then yeah, the wiki should have it. 'recovery time' seems pretty self explainatory I guess, -##% means your recovery time after an action is slowed down by that much. I know they're doing the math in PoE2 differently, forget the specifics though.

That's certainly an interesting way of visualizing it. Though it only goes by percentage of votes, not number of votes. If 1 mil equals 1,000 feet, New York City would tower over Mount Everest. Though you'd lose the fine details on that scale, perhaps if 250,000 equals 1,000 feet. *shrug*

As for the matriarchial Beastmen, there are examples in nature, Hyenas for one. So, I wouldn't say that the Beastmen/women being a matriarchial society is a poke at equality or anything. Besides, neither PE or Tyranny made any big deal about the equality thing. There are some bits about culture as far as male/female roles go in Tyranny and in PE, it only comes up in the context of Palleginas paladin order and the unique situation of godlikes.

First look (for us) at Tekehu's 'paper doll', also we can now zoom in on the model in that screen: https://www.instagram.com/p/BXWLUhiFjAR/?hl=en&taken-by=jesawyer1975 Additionally, Tekehu CAN wear gauntlets/gloves despite the fins on his arms. Also, doesn't seem like his 'hair' would get in the way of wearing helmets, but the rules for godlikes says that they can't wear helmets regardless. EXTREME closeup of Eder: https://www.instagram.com/p/BXWMDL4lwwv/?hl=en&taken-by=jesawyer1975 I initially thought it was some strange bug, but context is the previous instagram. Also gives an appreciation for how deeply detailed they made the models. Right down to the eyelashes, seriously.

About Update 38
smjjames replied to Sedrefilos's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
That's actually the first island on Fulvano's journey and the Principi home base, as shown in this fig update. Though the town itself either didn't have a name at the time or the island got named that and the town was given a different name. So, it's more of a special case with that island having multiple stuff on it. -
Player keep in Deadfire?
smjjames replied to Rayek's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
I'd recommend looking at Fig update 16 which goes over some of the basics and the deep dive into the E3 vid briefly shows the inside of the ship at the start, and later on, shows how the ship based events work in general. -

Yep. In one conversation with Galawain at that constellation room in Twin Elms, he views the scientific proccess/progress behind animancy as a form of 'the hunt'. He'd probably have a pretty good alliance with Wael as far as searching for hidden things, finding secrets, mysteries, etc, though I guess Wael would prefer to have his alliances not be known.
