  1. Well the whole placement on the battlefield is funky in PoE 1 - I would have the tankier companions guard the rangers and mages, since enemy AI really loved taking out the mage first. Just running in with the default formation is most of the time a suicide. Unless Obsidian somehow made it more flexible I see no point in changing the formations - they are not useful in combat anyway. Besides, you could make your own formations in PoE1.
  2. Well, a really good balanced groups of antagonistic adventurers is also fine. I mean, why is it only the Watcher has had been successful at this kind of stuff? Make him fight on the same terms a group that is balanced out to take on your group. (Make them always the same level as the Player or something). Wouldn't work too well for Solo play-throughs I guess. Also, Eldtrich horrors anyone? I mean they are not really demons or devils...
  3. Well, that is true. But you remember that in BG 2 - you would fight multiple dragons, each being a unique one. What I'm trying to say, is maybe we could get a Dragon fight, that would be in the Main Quest somewhere? Have a build up with some dragonlings and Xuarip. One such build up quest would be really cool. I'd also like more major fights that aren't just Dragons. Maybe more "insurmountable bosses" would be nice. Yes, I would agree. Beholders aren't a thing in PoE, but maybe there can be some similar foe that would require a lot of preparation. Demons maybe?
  4. I really liked the original PoE and even though I personally like to fight against Humanoid foes in games like BG/Icewind/PoE - what really fascinated me was the Dragon fights. Every fight would be a struggle, insurmountable it seems at first. But then you defeat the monster and I just love that feeling of killing a dragon. So my question is this - do we get more Dragons to fight in PoE 2?
