  1. Yeah this game don't have Ansel support yet either. That means no cool screenshots
  2. Wow game looks like CGI, lots of fidelity in 4K. HDR10 appears to be working as well, on my PC screen. Didn't know my PC screen can do it, but it looks similar to my HDR TV
  3. Downloading Mass Effect Trial. Half way there
  4. Yeah it's first party card is out now and faster than Titan XP. 3rd party custom cards come out late March or early April
  5. Hosting a videocard hunt contest on my website, if anyone wants to play. I just photoshoped a bunch of videocards into Watch_Dogs 2 panoramas. Zotac is sponsoring and offering a GTX 1080 Mini as the prize. (Hoping they will offer a 1080 Ti for the next contest.) Nvidia is also pushing the contest on their social media
  6. Intel price cut incoming
  7. Resident Evil 7 and Final Fantasy XV on Xbox One S. Both game's HDR implementation is great, despite FF having blurry graphics
  8. Netgear's Nighthawk series has been good for me. Still rocking the original Nighthawk and it's a streaming champ
  9. 8K will only benefit large screens. I can still see the pixels on my 75" 4K HDR screen, if I put my head really close. 8K would fix that by making that 75" screen into same ppi as a computer monitor. However far future 16K would make that screen into same pixel density as iPhone retina screen
  10. Only $4999 http://www.pcworld.com/article/3155016/displays/dell-will-ship-first-the-32-inch-8k-display-the-ultrasharp-32-ultra-hd.html
  11. Lol AMD used to be badass
  12. ^Haha grab that thing
  13. Watch Dogs 2 is a massive improvement over the last one
  14. Yeah I literally run everything off of SSD now. No moving parts noise, and everything loads fast. Great for OS and scratch disks
  15. Hillary indictment coming soon
  16. Get the 1070, should last you 2 years. And don't worry about achieving 60 fps in 4K. Now my Titan XP is starting to slow down a bit in Titanfall 2 maxed 4K
  17. Yeah you should be fine with that. Only other potential thing to match is timings, but your system should automatically set the timings to match
  18. It works best when your DIMMs match, so just get another 8GB kit of the exact same RAM you already have
  19. Here's XP 4K wallpaper for everyone
  20. 1600mhz
  21. The 1070 should do 40 fps average on current games' ultra settings in 4K. Bringing things down a notch to high settings should possibly net you 50-60 fps, which is in playable ballpark for me. The 980ti was my go to 4K card for a year or so, and the 1070 is 30% faster than that (on paper at least) Here are some benches for reference http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1070-8gb-pascal-performance,4585-3.html
  22. Like I said, 1070 can do 4K at high settings... but not ultra extreme settings. The current 4K champ is the Titan X Pascal, it crushes every new game in 4K ultra settings. Many new games are even playable on that card in 8K DSR, although it can get a bit laggy in some areas. 1080 ti should match it performance wise, as would Vega hopefully
  23. I'm obligated to say Zotac
  24. I know that feeling...
