RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - CON SEASON

I have never seen so much love for horse dongs... reminds me of the times when members here were obsessed with horse dung droplets in MGSV. I guess I don't share these same interests but it is interesting to read monetheless. And you guys reminded me of something... -
RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - CON SEASON
SonicMage117 replied to Blarghagh's topic in Computer and Console
Yes, indeed it is. I've actually been playing it, ever since finishing Spider-Man. Strangely, even maxed out in settings, Uncharted 4 still looks far better on the PS4's ancient hardware. How gaming has devolved, much like the human race teehee -
"Insanely good reviews"? It's a 6 for Gamespot and a 6.9 for IGN. 4.5/5 for "Windows Central", whoever they are. I don't give a crap about reviews, but that looks more like mixed than "good" to me. If you mean Steam reviews, it has a grand total of 17 as of the writing of this post. Weren't you saying that so few reviews aren't reliable? I'm somewhat torn about the game myself. I want it to be great (Star Control was my first PC game), but I don't really feel like giving money to Brad Wardell. To be honest, I trust Steam reviewers over any forums or major reviewing website. Except when it comes to Crpg's and Jrpg's, in which it can be a horrible game and we'll still see positive reviews in a desperate attempt to support the genre or get more of those types of game onto Steam. But yes, indees, I've never let reviewers influence my buy and deem them only valid to do so if it's a buggy mess.

Ewwww lol I know some gamers will be into seeing a horse testicle expanding in real time. And seeing it urinate as well. -
Star Control: Origins... Just came out today, $40.00. Getting insanely good reviews. Safe to say, the best damn space rpg to become avail in years.

https://comicbook.com/gaming/2018/09/20/nintendo-64-classic-release-date-holiday-2018/ N64 Mini will be released in December, to compete with PS1 mini. The war of consoles is with minis, not a new or current gen. Who'd thunk? -

This is where someone says "Morality is in the eye of the beholder" or "Villains are just heroes with a different agenda" yada yada yada blah blah blah. I think it will be pretty cool as well, problem is, I've played so many games where you play the villain or anti-villain that I'm not sure Rockstar will pull off anything new/unfamiliar. Just like they haven't since GTAIII. -
You can manually assign skill points on Spider-Man PS4, if you want to be more stealth based Spidey, you can, if you want to be a tank, you can do that as well. Since there isn't a party (Thank God!) you can max your level and earn all skills in the skill tree if you play long enough that is. I took my time with the game, got the platinum for it.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - CON SEASON

Same here. I must've pre-purchased over 200 digital games in my lifetime. I've never been disappointed once but that's because I always researched enough to know exactly what I was getting. You can always find non-spoiler gameplay videos of people playing the release build a while before the game releases. For rpg's it's a bit different, so many things that can go wrong. I only really backed Deadfire because well, I enjoyed Pillars religious affirmations. I loved it. Backing can be a form of pre-purchase if you're funding is enough to reward uou the game, it's the real gamble. -
Don't worry, you'll unlock new gadgets that will make combat more accessible and on top of that combining that with suit powers and suit upgrades

This looks kinda boring... Trump and Clinton are Pinata NPC's in Spider-Man PS4. Yes, these are what the actual nps's in the game look like. Spider-Man is as of now. The best looking exclusive title or game in general that I've played. -
That's pretty awesome. Is that 94 mode like NHL Faceoff on PS1? My last hockey game was NHL 15 on PS4 but I like it. I usually buy one at the start of every gen because the franchise gets a complete overhaul for the new gen. I really wish NHL Hitz and NFL Blitz would come back. Who kade those? Midway? I'm not one to be nostalgic, as you guys probably know by now but damn, Midway games from PS1 to Dreamcast era were freakin phenomenal whether sports games, boxing or racing games. Hell Hydro Thunder, Spy Hunter and San Francisco Rush 2049 need reboots as well. I've said too much goodness, what else is new?

Anyone know if the game is good or does it suck? I seen it just now on the Steam coming soon top page. My concerns are the land take-overs, raising an army mechanics. I wonder how well it will be integrated and to what extent/limitations. -
Let us know what you think

The biggest thing though, is the new skating system. What an aromic heap! I also like that you can have outside games now too. The backgrounds of the mountains are nice and jubileus

I agree with the first comment lmao The game looks boring and intriguing at the same time. Rare deal but it DOES happen. -
1. They open up later, as you progess. This is an open world system that's based off of/inspired by Lego Marvel games. The side-missions will be blue. As you progress in the main game, you will unlock more side-missions or if you progress fastly, you will unlock the side-missions after you complete one. It basically works as a secondary campaign in that way.2. There is no lock-on button, it's pretty much where ever you're facing you'll hit but you can do a slow-mo manual targeting thing by holding the left-trigger (L2) down Hope this helps, have fun!

Smart man, most people thought Pillars was going to be the next BG2 and look what happened lol

If one does not know or understand a term, one is free to look it up. There's no wrong in our youth - such as yourself - putting in effort to learn something new. Though, we as a generation (generations really) tend to complain about anything/everything we do not like or completely understand. I still have to look up words half the time because my primaral language is not English. Thereby, in which I am one of those statistics, I probably more than likely will appreciate a developer or writer for using words and terms I've never seen or heard before. How else do we continue learn? Or are we somehow bought into the illusion that we should know everything at a certain age?

Meshback eh?

I'm assuming you actually remembered to take yours for once though? Edit: Anyway, about 75% through Spider-Man PS4, done for the night. Will be back at it tomorrow. Doesn't seem like it will be too much of a problem to 100% but I've spent all my base tokens on crafted gear and I'm wondering if there will be more base takeover missions soon so I can unlock the very last suit. Just as the combat, the stealth and how it works is very similar to Arkham series as well as the Middle Earth series.
