RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - CON SEASON

Hmmm .. I see. So in other words you're admitting that you'd be willing to deny the truth of what I said, despite the perfect examples we can pull from only because of how I said it, the context of in which I stated it or simply because it was me who said it. Thanks for clearing that up. I suppose I could provide the evidence for entertainment purposes, as every genre has haters which are easy to spot but I already know that you'd attempt to downplay or discredit such things so I wil just move on and put my efforts back to posting news. Anyways, back on topic For laughs and giggles Also, as boring as it may be I'm going to post this anyway -
The only advice I can give is actually 2 advices: 1. Be sure to utilize point-zips (L2+R2 trigger at the same time) which will allow you to go great distances and specific references much faster and optimally. 2. Use the slow-mo to wank into your advantage. Sometimes things can get too fast when swinging, the game can suddenly shift in momentum to compliment this logic. Hold L2 to aim in slow-mo, allowing you to plan and initiate point-zip with ease. Hope this small talk helps!

The drone (speed) challenges are essentially the same as the dove missions. Require much speed. Hope you can get platinum medals on each! Good luck

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - CON SEASON

I'm kinda reminded of The Evil Within 2 when I watch it, which isn't a bad thing, since I had a great time with that game. So we can say it's taken more of a horror turn when before we were only given bits and pieces. At least we have some actual direction now. I'm pleased. -

Enlighten us, oh great one - Which part wasn't true? Most people who judge Telltale games in such negative light haven't even played them or have never completed one. What else is new? But it looks like everything I said rubbed you the wrong way or another. And I do speak for everyone, as in all the members when I say: Telltale will be missed. Whether their games sold well enough to turn profit or not, they did make an impact on the industry in ways that people tend to overlook. That's rather easy to see now. It was never meant create a war of old/new generations of games or genres but I think I made my point. To day that there isn't he sane amount of environmental exploration and hands-on experience in newer Adventure games wouldn't exactly be true and as others have said, there have been other devs who have taken the Telltale fornula and improved upon it. That indeed includes storytelling. DontNod Interactive has made a few games via Telltale formula and the stories are something special, erasing all bias and only giving credit where it's due, they are modern adventure games with storylines which have only pushed the game industry with empathy and relatablity, no other games have went there before but plenty have after so that's probably why it's fairly easy to overlook it now. More importantly, the lack of action and/input never qualified a project to be considered not a game, which was perhaps my more redefined point. When I go to a Pizzeria and stop at a pinball machine, I don't do much because your balls takes forever to drop down to my level so I wait, and wait and watch the story on the screen and the score - that doesn't mean that the challenge and the feeling of reward isn't present. Furthermore on the subject, here is an informative and educational video which confirms my "blah blah blah" as more than just some stand-offidh opinion. https://youtu.be/EpR4Txswh6E -
Which is better: Bioshock original or Bioshock Remastered? I always remembered people saying they were better than System Shock 1 and 2 and for some reason that Bioshock Infinite sucked. I, for one, really enjoyed the hell outta Infinite. Though I found the vibe to be completely different. Prey also seems to be conpared to Bioshock and System Shock games.

Yarp. I'm glad he got forced into the game, saw him on Ultimate Spiderman, where he was the main villain and crime-lord in Noire-verse (Norse) and he time and time again beat Noire Spiderman, Fisk, Tombstone and Hulk - til our Spiderman tooks him down. Always thought he was interesting since then.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - CON SEASON

Hmmm.... What is an Adventure game? I suppose based on one's generation/age, it could mean something completely different but to say Telltale games aren't as such means that we probably shouldn't consider text based rpg's and visual novels as video games or even something like Quantum Break which has live action tv show episodes. Extreme picky gamers who have never played a Telltale game will probably say "It's poorly done interactive cgi films with limited exploration and poorly done puzzles." None of which is true but I suppose that would be the argument on arise. Next, some will try to convince me that they're games that "play themselves". Personally, I'd much rather prefer something like The Wolf Among Us or Life Is Strange over a point-and-click Adventure game if I want a serious and engaging story. You see, I grew up on point-and-click but there's some level of emotion that's delivered in modern adventure games. The storytelling of say, Life Is Strange is still more developed and emotionally investing than a Crpg we might put against it but very short lived with multiple branch's and endings... Just as Telltale games. Whatever the case, Telltale type of Adventure games has a large following, never found them to be niche. Also featured some very good voice-acting. I know I speak for all of us when I say, Telltales sense of originality and uniqueness will be missed. They really did impact the industry. #JustSonicThings -

When the game first came out? I take it you haven't been checking out the forums lately. People are still tricking themselves into thinking that it's a Banner Saga clone, bare in mind that it's only people who have never played the game. It probably started as a cncept of a clone, then sprouted as something far different. This is nothing new in the games industry. I wish I could say that it's sonic things but it's just the usual gamer community paranoia/drama that we see when a game looks similar on surface, no different from Battlefield being compared to CoD or the like. I should probably recommend that people watch a gameplay video and see just how much the games differ so they can see what I'm talking about in this regard. Fortunately, the review scores also reflect that it is far from a clone as well.

No problem!

Pre-made characters, 54 playable characters, 12 of them being women but there is also modding tools with a modding community behind the game as well.

"Ash of gods" is 30% off. Brilliant underrated tactical rpg. To the noob, at first glance it looks similar to Banner Saga but it's actully the complete opposite (veterans of tactics genre - such as myself can see these differences right off the bat). Is it worth the money? Why, yes, yes it is.

Did you catch them all yet? Fiesty little pluckers, I know

True. Spider-Man only has a handful of the big time villains while Arkham Knight has like around 30 well known villains or so.

Well enough for fans to call a success which means not very well in reality Like what? The canceled ip's which are actually being saved for next-gen since they admitted defeat for this gen? On the bright side, this would mean we can sacrifice Jar Jar to Skaen. I could live with the -1 to intelligence his Effigy's Resentment would give. That is a good point. Even benevolent characters would do it. Sacrificing Jar-Jar Binks would raise your reputation with all factions. But you need General Binks to get the crucial victory which allows for the best ending. It's not worth the sacrifice when the factions are equally annoying and have much less to offer.

Hmmm... Sorry but I'm still not convinced. It's Rockstar hype, so it will probably only appear deep but actually will be shallow when you actually play it. I appreciate the graphical beauty though.
