  1. Postive vibes? Here, have a quick Three Space Piglet Moon.
  2. Which model iPad do you have? There is a specific, and apparently unresolved, bug regarding audio and iPad 4 and the iPhone 5/5c. Did it happened after a recent upgrade? Can you go to the settings menu and move the sliders up and down a little bit to try and un-stick the audio settings?
  3. Actually, I had much the same opinion of Seelah early-on. Average combat ability, no items, favored card is Armor (ugh)... Even one of the actual designers of the game thought so too, before he changed his ways. [Chad's Best Character Ever: Seelah] But her talent isn't combat, or defeating barriers, or support, it's closing locations and winning games. She's the only character that reliably offsets the burden of an additional location deck when she's added to the party. There may be no specific check she excels at, but drawing out villains and crashing through locations has a quality all it's own.
  4. It works very well, which is possibly why you are confusing everyone by downplaying her solo utility. Ceaseless Crusade burns through location decks to find the henchman/villain. Inspired Grace/Iomedae's Benediction and maxed out Spell/Blessing slots means you have a >50% chance of adding 1d6+x to everything at no cost. Carry a healing spell or opt for Healing Hands you can recover the occasional cards that slip through the cracks. Inheritor's Favor additionally gives you a pretty decent chance at getting free explores or bonus dice by recharging certain blessings instead of discarding them. If you rate characters on their ability in combat, Seelah may not be the number one crusher. But if you rate characters on their ability to clear locations and win the game, Seelah has you covered. The powers may not seem like much taken alone, but the combination is pretty magical.
  5. Not that random... I had six consecutive games with same setup (locations, wild cards, villain and henchmen) and same locations in 8-out-of-10 games. Quest mode was never truly random. It was always a "constrained" randomness. In short, when you fire up quest mode, the game does something like: - Identify the highest level character - Use that level to pull a couple matching pre-generated scenario templates off the virtual shelf - Select one of those scenarios, and mix it up a little bit, as much as the template allows If it were entirely random, there would be a lot of terrible, non-challenging, or non-fun combos. Templated randomness was the solution the game eventually went with. That is why you occasionally have a string of similar quests. The virtual coin-toss just came up "heads" several times in a row. What likely killed quest mode (permanently or temporarily), is that they never really found that good balance between random and fun, and it was only going to get harder to manage as the adventure decks increased in difficulty. If it ever comes back, it will be because the devs finished up all the ADs and now have a chance to consider the game as a whole, rather than trying to build out quest content on a tier-by-tier basis.
  6. The settings menu should be fixed in the 1.1.6.4.2 update from a couple days ago. At least it appears that way in iOS.
  7. I think that's exactly how it would work, should we get a new adventure deck. It would be really hard to rebalance early scenarios if you're showing up to Skull & Shackles with a tooled-up party from RotR. I'm really not sure what the alternative would be. People have considered such ideas in the tabletop version of the Pathfinder ACG, and the consensus is that there's really no way to make it work to carry over leveled characters from one set to the next. Probably the best you could hope for is for Obsidian to create some AD7+ content for RotR.
  8. The free ride is over. 1.1.6.4.2 just fixed the Valentine's card "bug" Edit: And it fixed the infamous double-Rooster bug, that probably nobody even noticed.
  9. Yeah. I've noticed that too. Between that and the Valentines's Promo Cards, 1.1.6.4.2 should be right around the corner. Or, is it going to be 1.1.6.4.1.2?
  10. Flounder mentioned this in one of his other posts...
  11. Check that you're logged into iOS Game Center or the Google Play Store. A missing PFID can be a symptom of login issues. What does it say in the top-left corner of the screen on the main menu? [Updated: 10/3 Trouble logging in? Here is a workaround!]
  12. Congrats, it sounds like you got a "new" card. Step one when troubleshooting missing stuff is to force-quit the app and reopen it. After the login sync, check the vault again. But otherwise, yes you are right. "Prayer of Norgorber" appears to be an unlisted treasure card. It may not be visible in the app until you possess a copy. A future patch may need to tweak some things, but a force-quit/restart of the app should make it appear in your vault.
  13. I don't think there are any secret achievements right now. There are just the 8 achievements for playing story mode (Finish Prologue, B, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6). There were (are?) a handful of other achievements for playing story mode with specific characters, but I don't think that's a thing anymore.
  14. I have pledged my loyalty to the crew! Hunt a God. Save your soul. Nah. I'm going to join up with a band of pirates and let god-hunting be someone else's problem.
  15. Are you sure? As of 1.1.6.4.1, it looks like the Slaying Sword lost the Elite trait and gained the Magic Trait.
  16. All good here! Not sure why anyone would buy the Harsk bundle though. #TeamValeros4eva!
  17. If you bought the RotR bundle, just go to the vault and check out the Promo Card weapons. At least until the next patch comes around, you've should have a copy of each new card "on loan".
  18. Everyone with the RoTR bundle sorta, accidentally, temporarily got all the cards for "free"... by accident. That is why you have one of each card, plus one extra of the ones you purchased. That will be fixed next patch. I don't know what's up with Harsk. I see the same error with the greyed out button.
  19. It's live! Looks like it hasn't landed on the iOS App store quite yet. Nonetheless, happy Valentine's Day!
  20. I'm sure you might have heard that Quest Mode is possibly going away in 1.1.6.5. Rather than lamenting its demise, let us remember some of the more enjoyable or silly moments it provided us. Quest mode, you were our imperfect companion, but you were always fun. When times were dark between AD3 and AD4, you were there for us. Perhaps, we shall meet again someday... goodbye my friend. P.S. Make sure to play a round or two of quest mode between now and when it goes away. There's loot to be had! Check out the above link for details.
  21. [deleted] I seriously wasn't paying attention to which forum I was replying in..
  22. You'll need to force-quit and restart Pathfinder for the dice to show up after you redeem the challenge reward. It seems that there is a bug that when you redeem challenges for dice, they are not immediately available. I just had the same thing happen to me. Not a huge problem. Check out this thread for further details.
  23. StormbringerGT acknowledged this bug a little while ago. [Sign of Wrath allows evade even if check succeeds]
  24. That is definitely a funny explanation from Nintendo's end. A good counter-example is Hearthstone which will let you use the same account on any device that will run it. If anything, Nintendo is making a risk-averse decision like they did with Super Mario Run. There is enough concern about "hacked" or modded android apks that they are trying to segregate the two game economies. As far as the iOS App store goes, the only big rule developers need to follow is that you are not allowed to have a purchasing feature in an iOS app that circumvents the app store. Spotify got in trouble with this a couple years back when they had their own mechanism for buying subscriptions instead of using the usual IAP method.
  25. Just so you know (and to anyone else who stumbles by). The Pathfinder app gets different updates from the server at different times. Gold is pretty instantaneous. But with other stuff, it is easy to run in to issues where you "get" a new card/dice set, but it somehow doesn't sync between the "cloud" and your device. When new stuff appears missing, quitting and restarting the app usually does the trick because login seems to force a card/dice sync between you and the server.
