Symbols & Spoilers(?) [Web Shenanigans]
Ethics Gradient replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Whatever the next reveal happens to be (white background), it should also be the one that includes the "waves" image. I'm not sure 100% sure how the waves will display on a standard browser (if at all). You may need to check out the Project LA page with an iPhone or make the browser window really small to see it.

3 teaser images - Eder, Aloth, Pallegina in PoE 2?
Ethics Gradient replied to Aramintai's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)As I look at the large-ish island on PoE2 map, all that comes to mind is: Weigh Anchor! Set sail for Captain A-Hole island! Whatever it eventually gets called, we must never forget that island started off with a pretty awesome name.

Favor of Gods didn't let me add a second blessing
Ethics Gradient replied to saxmaam's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Blessing of the Gods and Favor of the Gods default to a "mimic-first, then play as self" behavior. If you want to use a Favor's play another blessing power instead of just mimicking the blessing deck, there is still a way to do that. When you don't want a BotG or FotG to mimic, tap the blessing deck then tap the Blessing button to turn off the mimic ability. The Blessing button got introduced a few major patches ago, but has gone largely unnoticed because the only time you'd ever want to turn it off is to use a FotG's ability to play another blessing on a check. So, FotG isn't bugged..., though it could use some UI feedback letting you turn the mimic ability on/off as it is played.

Re-stocking Character Decks
Ethics Gradient replied to Sir Real's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Characters Builds & Strategies (Spoiler Warning!)The other tip is, if you're just playing to "game the system" don't simultaneously "play to win." You still get to the deck repair screen after a forfeit.

Symbols & Spoilers(?) [Web Shenanigans]
Ethics Gradient replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)The Leaden Key quote yesterday should have done serious damage to remaining Fallout speculation. That, and the assortment of characters from fantasy languages that seem to spell out "Deadfire"

Symbols & Spoilers(?) [Web Shenanigans]
Ethics Gradient replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)There is a header in the html file that was not present yesterday. <!-- ******** VII ******** --> It looks like we're counting down from 7, which is in line with the projection that there are 6 more days/glyphs to come.

Opened 145 chests last night...
Ethics Gradient replied to MauGibrin's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)Probably ok. If you go like 300 chests between alts or legendary dice you're probably falling off the top end of the bell curve. Again, just speculation. Legendary dice are super rare. Alts are probably at least a tiny bit rarer.

Fan art (codename: Louisiana)

Symbols & Spoilers(?) [Web Shenanigans]
Ethics Gradient replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)The emblem and quote seems hard-coded for now. We'll have to wait until tomorrow (or next week) to see if that changes along with the glyph and background.

Opened 145 chests last night...
Ethics Gradient replied to MauGibrin's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)Agreed. You also have to figure statistics-wise, it probably isn't going to be easier to find a character alt than a legendary dice set. Legendary dice are in the neighborhood of 1-in-200 chests redeemed. There is no reason to expect that alts should drop any more frequently.

Obviously PoE2
Ethics Gradient replied to thelee's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Not so fast! After 1000 years living underground, dwellers from Vault 2000 emerge from what old maps referenced as "New Orleans" to encounter a world of magic and dragons. Gather your companions and set sail from the Mississippi Delta to discover what new lands await.

Symbols & Spoilers(?) [Web Shenanigans]
Ethics Gradient replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I'm assuming nothing about my correctness However, the order I presented the glyphs (left to right, left to right) is the same order I found the images while poking around. And today's background image and glyph line up with the first of each sequence. I presume that it may be the reveal order, based only on a hunch that it would be easier to display them by sequence than have the java script hop around. I'll double-check for any additional evidence to support these assertions.

Symbols & Spoilers(?) [Web Shenanigans]
Ethics Gradient replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Each letter also has a specific background color. Today's is green. But there are eight separate background colors. Nothing special about the purple glyph. It just is paired off with a purple background.
