  1. Parties do not share the same vault. You can pretty much pretend that the "vault" doesn't exist outside of an active scenario. In brief, when you start a scenario a new vault is generated. It consists of all the cards up to your present AD minus the all cards in the active party. Each party can find their own Deathbane Light Crossbow. You can even trade around the common cards and give one party 2 Deathbane Light Crossbows! As long as your party has less of a card than would be normally found in a vault, they'll have a chance to encounter it.
  2. It used to be pretty simple. It was the digital equivalent of counting all the check boxes you marked off on the character card, and making sure the number looked right. Each character save keeps a record of which story mode scenarios were completed, or in the case of quest mode, how much XP they have received. If the audit determined you were missing something, then it could look up what else you were owed, and award that too. What's happening now... well, I don't know. Seems best to hold on for the point release.
  3. Nope. I can't recall which character exactly, but it was my Merisiel/Kyra team. As seasoned adventurers, it's their job to clear the way every time a new patch hits and scout around for oddities.
  4. Just checked myself, and you're right, we got awarded a treasure chest! Granted, it's not the right reward, but at least it is a sign that things mostly work..., even if the challenge system probably still had some leftover data from beta testing.
  5. Probably really fortunate timing between the new patch and the challenge rotation. The patch announcement went up around 2PM EST on Monday. That would have given those players almost 5 hours to get the first daily challenge. The new daily challenge Monday evening would have let them get a second one, followed by a third one Tuesday evening. The rotation about five hours ago then clearly allowed for a fourth completion. You got it! And they've all been somewhat easy to accomplish if you pick the right scenario. "Bury 15 Cards"? Let's take the party on a trip to the Mountain Peak and blow every roll. Though, I guess it's good that relatively few of us tried to power-game an Ugly Sweater Card. Obsidian still has about a day to sort out server issues until the big wave of weekly completions.
  6. Congrats on being among the first to get through everything! Anyway, the ending could have been worse!
  7. I managed to knock out the last of four daily challenges in a record time. When I redeemed my prize... nothing happened. It appeared to properly "redeem" but the card was not added to my account. No change after couple force quits of the app. The Festive Wool Hide does not appear to be among my cards. Anyone else seeing this too? Update: The weekly challenge system is working... sorta. Instead of the Wool Hide card, we're being awarded a single Treasure Chest. Likely some old data in the "cloud" and not a problem with the app itself. For those of us who already got the award, the devs may need to add it manually. Hang tight, and I'm sure a fix will by by eventually.
  8. Thanks. That's how I feel too. We hit AD6. We're at the end of RoTR. We probably have a long, long time to acquire all this new stuff. It is likely to be the only new content we have to play with for a while. Who know's what's next up for digital Pathfinder, but the character alts will give you stuff to buy, and a way to mix things up in the meantime.
  9. Seriously. It's cold enough outside that any fire damage would probably heal more than it would hurt. Maybe fire damage bug is related to the snow in the title screen.
  10. Same with Goblin Pyro..., not that I'm complaining about anything.
  11. No. This shouldn't be allowable. I already added the following post to Aarik's big 1.1.6 bug list. -- Emerald Codex: Players can discard cards from the codex to resolve damage. Cards will remain in the character's deck after the game.
  12. Also: Emerald Codex: Players can discard cards from the codex to resolve damage. Cards will remain in the character's deck after the game.
  13. Cool, thanks! I've been suspecting for some time that the drop schedule hasn't been updated in a while...
  14. The Pathfinder Chronicler is a "normal" treasure card, whereas Song of Hawkmoon may need a reboot/force-restart to get it to show up because it is something not usually displayed in the vault. Edit: It also may depend on when you purchased the bundle. Aarik said they corrected the problem of it not being added to your account. If you bought it when it first came out, you may need to contact support with your PFID/User#.
  15. Thanks for the help, but this thread is probably best left here for now. For better or worse, all eyes are on the tech support forum. It has a catchy title, and I'm sure this thread will get enough replies to keep popping to the top of the queue anyway. [All aboard the bump train!]
  16. AD3 and AD4 Legendaries are known to have particularly terrible drop rates. Dragon Smiter has been seen in the wild, and the Unities should be in chests, but may be next to impossible to find. I think their probability stats worked out similar to Legendary Dice (something near 1 in ~200 chests).
  17. It is still advisable to wait this nasty bug out, but if anyone wants to live dangerously, it might be possible to get through it if you play AD6 offline. Should your deck be eaten, immediately uninstall Pathfinder, then go online and reinstall. As long as you are up-to-date on the cloud, you should be able to "revert" to your last known good save.
  18. When you finish up the weekly quest for the ugly christmas armor, expect to grab the loot using the "Pickup Rewards" tab. Last I was poking around, the game UI doesn't really have handlers to award awesome stuff like Cards, Characters, or Dice mid-game. The "Pickup Rewards" tab popped into existence not only to support complicated things like Weekly (or Monthly?) quests, but to provide a nice way to hand out rewards other than gold. Maybe if we all ask reeeeeallllly nicely, we can get some monthly quests to unlock the character alts.
  19. Agreed. I love the work that Obsidian has done to make the Pathfinder ACG digital, but it has almost always been good advice to wait for the 1.1.x.1 release. As far as retroactive fixes for characters decks being eaten by Morgiv... that is not going to be a recoverable error. Banished cards don't stick around in character/party saves. Unless it is just a really mean display error, there's simply nothing left to restore. I don't think that the cloud keeps previous save revisions, so there's little hope for an administrative roll-back either. Be careful out there. ::sad trombone noise::
  20. Send a PM to Aarik D or fire off an email to email to support@obsidian.net if you still can't find everything. There was an issue with the bundle earlier, but seems to have been corrected.
  21. Correct! The card actually does penalize the proficient. It's a silly little bit of goblin magic, but the original designers answered back in 2013 that the printed card text was not in error.
  22. Oh thank you. So that is something new then? No longer having to "pick-up" the gold. Nice touch. Thanks for the help and quick reply! New-ish. Daily challenges used to pay out automatically. Then you had to collect them for a little while, and now it looks like it went back to auto. The good news is that weekly challenges are finally online. Maybe there will be some cool payouts in the future!
  23. Your daily challenge reward gold was given the moment it was completed. You'll use the "pickup rewards" section to grab the silly winter armor if you manage to complete the weekly challenge.
  24. Confirmed broken by devs. (Neither Kyra's nor Meriseils's blessings are recharging) also probably related: Patch 1.1.6 breaks "Animal Empathy" for Lini
