  1. Oh, then they stole it even earlier? I didn't know that they were that fast.
  2. The developers gave the Republic only the small weak looking vessels and Malak and Nihilus the big boss capital ship, because of a much more simple identification who are the good guys and who are the bad guys.
  3. The pictures of Mira and Mission being posted here look great. In my opinion an additional advantage is that they aren't "anime style".
  4. And by this they gave away to the Soviets where they could get this powerful technology from...
  5. I am NOT saying they shouldn't have dropped the bomb. I am saying it probably wasn't necessary to drop the bombs. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, I know this and agree with you on this. What I have said is that otherwise the war would have lasted much longer in this scenario (with many casualties on BOTH sides, of course).
  6. Rosbjerg is right in his point. The Japenese Generals thought the Americans could bomb them back to the stone age and, obviously, surrendered for this reason. Without this nuclear "demonstration" the war definitely would have lasted much longer. 213374u, consider who initially declared the war and who is guilty for the attack on the Asian region and e.g. the massacres on Chinese civilians. I think when you think morally you have to take into account which sort of opponent you face. The same applies to the war against the so-called "terrorists" (the guys who are intentionally boming soft targets to cause death and fear). But, please, don't get me wrong, my motto is *not* "The end justifies any means".
  7. In my opinion the story of Kotor1 isn't flawed in the point that the Leviathan has been a Republic ship. The story of Kotor1 had been written down before they finished the animation of the battles. Bioware gave the Republic only small weak looking vessels and Malak the big boss capital ship, because of a much more simple identification who are the good guys and who are the bad. Someone argued that the Leviathan is an alien design. But what is the exact definition of "alien" in a galaxy in which an uncountable number of species are living?
  8. I find your lack of faith disturbing... <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Faith? Ever tried it with common sense/savvy...?
  9. This page hurts the eyes (optically). Can you seriously read this without getting mad? More likeable than right wing nutjobs. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Makes not much difference.
  10. Gray is the gorgeous color of old DDR times, isn't it? I've always thought you loved it, my dear Honecker...
  11. Can one answer this question with "yes", "no" or "maybe"? Sorry, maybe I didn't get the question. And the thread's title "Who Thinks We New A Game?" Stoned?
  12. Too Good to Be True... BTW your Teddy Bat Quarren is still a classic.
  13. LOL I could try to get a pic next time she asks for Bao horns. She wouldn't let me take them out for a couple days - I had to ease them out while she was sleeping. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> She seems to be a delightful roly-poly.
  14. A "KotOR II: Gold Edition" somewhere down the line is the awesomest idea I have yet heard bandied about, among credible solutions which might see unimplemented content released. Good thinking. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Credible? How many do you think would pay for it a second time?
  15. It's all a matter of taste (or point of view or whatever you'd like to call it). Nothing to argue about.
  16. Funny. I don't believe a word of it...
  17. Not sure that someone else didn't already say this, but Anakin is really the one to bring balance. He kills the last of the Sith Lords, thereby killing the Sith, and at the same time, making them stronger. That is where the Sith'ari assumption comes from. Most people say that Chosen One and Sith'ari are one and the same. I don't know, because the Sith'ari could be the big deal behind KOTOR I II and III, but once again, I don't know. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe the Sith'ari and the Chosen Once are one and the same person (alias Anakin Skywalker), but then there cannot exist *two* sides of the Force. Or are these two prophecies considered a conspiracy of a single Force planing a clean sweep?
  18. The patch is in testing for two weeks now. Seems like a long time for a "technical" patch. I hope they haven't experienced any serious problems...
  19. Does what you are saying/guessing about your past change the story in any respect (e.g. what Bao-Dur narrates about the past)?
  20. I think that you are a great artist. The scene looks very dramatic. The background is fine, too, you really shouldn't worry. Only (constructive) criticism I had is about Atton's left eye. I think if you would close it he would look stone-dead instead of stoned.
  21. Honestly, I really don't believe that this is the true reason, Mr. Urquhart. And I can't believe that you are so oversensitive. In my opinion, it is the tiny minority of people who personally insult you, accuse you of incompetence or the like. Most of these "trolls" visited the forums only for a few times and then left forever. "BioJr, Bioboys, Bioleftovers, Biobitches", I have never heard of this nonesense (or maybe I read over it...?). The real fan base (which represents the majority here I think) is still there. Their criticism is constructive and they wish OE the best. These people have enjoyed the game and care a lot about it, whether (from outside) it looks like this, or not. You would realize this if you'd spent more time on this forums (you *have* other business to do, this is *no* criticism, of course ). These forums have their own "balance" even without a moderator, in contrast to most other forums in the web (including LA's Kotor2 board). Maybe the expenses for this boards have exploded since the international and PC release and OE isn't willing to spend their money for an excessive discussion (unbelievable 100,000 posts in a very short time) about the "cut ending". That's only a guess, but it would be a reason I could understand.
