  1. And only a droid would own such a freaky droid yacht.
  2. Yes, actually, I haven't meant it that way. After finishing the game I simply had the feeling that one shouldn't trust Traya, that is all. My problem with this character is, that at the same time she is the key to the understanding of the plot.
  3. You have a point. The Exile is the only one. Kreia even blames the Force itself for all of the failings in the galaxy.
  4. The only thing Kreia really knows, is that Revan is absent. He never told Kreia nor anybody else where he had gone. What I really don't get is, why everybody trust in the words of Kreia/Traya. In my opinion she lies from the beginning of, and maybe about the real motivation of Revan and his destination, too.
  5. But the code is flawed. Kreia knew it, as did Revan. Atris sees it, so do the Council, though they do little to correct it. The teachings are wrong, and that is why so many leave so easily. Who is to blame? The pupil who knew no better, or the teacher who taught no better? The Jedi Masters, and their never changing code is at fault. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which code do you refer to exacly? Do you realize, that you mainly enumerate people who addicted to the code of the Sith? And the frustrated Council first thought it was their fault, but it wasn't. IIRC the master on Nar Shaddaa told you, that it isn't that easy.
  6. Not the code is flawed, but the individuals themselves. The young Jedi, who left for war, blindly ran into the trap set by Revan, only waiting for them. They have been warned by wiser men and women, but decided otherwise. So it's rather a problem of authority I think.
  7. Most people here who claim to know all the answers are speculating. There is nothing wrong with this, but the shame is, that many of them don't realize it.
  8. Concerning the points 2.)-4.): Please, do a research in "dialog.tlk" as described above. I think this text can be found in the English(=original) version, too.
  9. For some mysterious reason the Trayus Academy hasn't taken any damage. It is told that Revan has used this facility to control the battle over Malachor and to lure others to the Sith. I would post the full text of the file, but it isn't in English. You can take a look into it yourself. Search e.g. for "gravity". It's near the end of the file.
  10. I've found the answer to some of the questions which the game hasn't revealed for me. When I did a search in the dialog.tlk file... It contains the full backgrounds to the events on Malachor. Seriously, I wonder at which point in the game this has been told?! During the battle Revan has been in the Trayus Academy. It was Revans ingenious(?) plan to activate it.
  11. I would like to ask you some questions I have no fully satisfying answer to (only to make sure that they aren't continuity mistakes. ) 1.) Is there a sure answer to what happened on Malachor V and why both sides, Jedi and Mandalorians, were killed by a gravity well projector? (BTW, which nutty idiot activated it?) 2.) Where have Revan and Malak been during this battle? (I think it's a fact, that they haven't become holes/wounds in the force, nor were they crushed by gravity...) 3.) The final battle on M5 should've been well known to Darth Malak, because of it's importance to the outcome of the Mandalorian Wars. The academy, I think, was already there, as Revan converted countless Jedi to the DS on this planet. It seems that poor Malak was the only one who didn't know of this second academy on Malachor V. Is there a special reason for this? 4.) Have Sion and Nihilus been stuck on Malachor V for the last decade, or where else have they been until the events of KotOR2? 5.) Is the STD Ravenger an ancient Rakatan design, or have the developers mixed something up there?
  12. I always thought that "Jedi Civil War" is the generic term for the conflicts between Jedi and fallen Jedi. I have heard this term many times before KotOR.
  13. (sorry, moved to spoilers section " )
  14. Yes, (if I remember correctly) exactly this is said in the comments of this dialogue.
  15. Ah, ok, Pemdas! I know him. But who has ever said that "you can only use each one once" is a rule of math...?!
  16. There is a possibility to unlock the unseen movies by changing the swkotor2.ini. I haven't tried it out, but I know that it worked with the sequel game. Change every variable's value in the "[Movies Shown]" section to a "255". [Movies Shown] Movie10=255 Movie 9=255 Movie 8=255 ... But don't forget to save a copy of the file before you change it! Edit: I think 4 movies of the 65 are missing permanently.
  17. Well, that's what I thought. Only my game thinks differently " With either 6x2-8+9x1 = 13 of 6x2-8+9/1 = 13 the game says: Incorrect Friggin' bugs in this game drive me crazy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Strangely enough, in my game 6x2-8+9x1 = 13 was supposedly wrong while 6x2-8+9/1 = 13 was correct. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> im surprised that 6x2-8+9x1 = 13 worked for you guys... a basic rule of "Pemdas" is that you can only use each one once... so 6x2-8+9/1 = 13 should be correct while 6x2-8+9x1 = 13 should be incoreect <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Who is Pemdas? And what has he to do with this puzzle?
  18. Yes, indeed, that would be very interesting.
  19. Man, simply because they don't know about the "director's cut ending". What you don't know won't hurt you, or am I wrong with this?
  20. Yes, but even if they write the dialog and record it, they may not have had time to get the game logic (quest and dialog) to work correctly. They may not have had time to script in game cutscenes and such as well. If this is the case, it would have been easier for them to forego those intereactions and cutscenes altogether and release the game, even f the dialog had already been written and the voice overs already made. The dialog and recording is just one part of the picture, especially in a game with such a condensed time schedule. It points VERY strongly to me to they had things planned and intended fully to have them in, but in the last period just didn't have time to implement it all. I tend to agree that both Obsidian and Lucas Arts went into this knowing that this was a shortened schedule and what it would mean to the story in the end. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> IIRC they have always said that they were well on schedule during the development time.
  21. I think that here on this boards the expectations in this game had been as high as nowhere else. (Edit: except for Volourn and Hades_One who'd cautioned us about this fault long before )
  22. What the exact reason is I can only suppose, but I think that there must be another reason for the cut ending than a lack of time, money or the like. The plot was written, the voice acting was there (even in the international versions!).
  23. I think it is a bug. Everyone of them was full LS, the alignment screen was completely blue (with white rays), though the info text said the opposite. They called Visas a "Sith Lady", but she'd have max LS from the beginning of, too.
