Well, I don't own Bastion, so that's one already...

I somewhat resent the thought of 'you need to buy GTA V so devs will spend more money... funky graphics'. Isn't mass expenses and high graphic requirements what got the game industry in the mess it is now, with risk-less sequels, barely good games from AAA-devs, and we need to look to indie's for 'new'. I somewhat would support the OPPOSITE of that, less spend on graphics and fluff of AAA games.

Pretty sure the XP-boosts don't boost Legacy XP (the legacy XP boosts don't).

I've only bought it around 2,3 months ago? Just because the guild moved on to lvl 55 stuff and get a bit more story. If I knew it would go free in such a short amount of time, of course I would have waited (as would zbyl). And just giving us a title (I think I don't even get that, not being a sub atm) is certainly a kick in the balls. It was lazy to celebrate KOTOR, it's lazy now. But I supposed the people getting RoHC now do get less value than me, what with BioWare breaking Seeker Droid Hunting and haven't fixed it at all yet and all. Starting to get really tired here of all the bs. And tell me which title had such a huge pricedrop so fast on Steam. Some recent titles did have like 25% or 30% pretty rapidly... but "pretty rapidly" was already around 3-4 months. Not 100% at 6 months. And I expect this will hurt them so much the next digital will dry up sales even sooner (hence my "free in 3 months"). It seems overall a REALLY bad move. Trying to gain a few more subbies currently. With hurting the other subbies. And while diminishing the value of subs with recent patches and 2.4 too. It's like, what the hell? The right hand wants more free players (thus restrictions gets lessened), and then the left hand goes all "we loose subs, let's get subs!" and then thinks this was a good idea, and not making it worse. Nothing seems to go right there. Recent wave of hotfixes seem to tell the same. What's going on? Also, the bounty hunter event is on again? Got pretty sick of it last time, and it's not been enough time since then, so I think I will give it a pass. Maybe next month I'm in the mood for annoying load-screen heavy grind. The idea is good (getting people back on the planets) but oh, that loading screenage. And the fleetlag.

Tried a few different games out, none piqued my interest. But now one did, BrĂ¼tal Legend. It's quite fun, so I can see it holding my attention. And I need to seek a new game once done with it, which hopefully will take a while...

http://www.swtor.com/info/news/news-article/20130910 Way to go with odd decisions BioWare... Common thinking is that they're making people lvl up to 55 for the next digital expansion. But what crazy loonie would buy it if it goes free 3 months later? I know I wont, I'm gonna dough it out... silly BioWare. Needless to say, a LOT of people are pissed ATM. As for the space, I like heroics. Except for the Ice Field. It's too long and annoying and wheter you win or not really depends on the last 20 seconds, or you have to do it all over. I never do that one anymore. The escort one mentioned before has to be my second favorite (after the Ambush, which is one of the easiest, even if somehow everyone lists it as Hard). The key to destroying the bombers is using your EMP on the last group. Softened up like that it only takes a few more shots to kill, easily netting you around 20 free kills. And if you don't know it yet (dunno) you can hold the right mouse button to lock up all your missiles at once at different targets. It's also very helpful taking out bombers, capital ships and many other different situations.

Yeah, I had figured that out pretty soon, and asked a few people what mod stations where for, if they were maybe leftovers from an older version. I think I only found out about a month ago or so it could be used for augmentations (after my guild pointed out to me I was augment-less), I ignored them till then. #oppositeproblem And I understand your hate for huttball. Though what Spider says is right, I personally doubt I am going to like Team Deathmatch, I prefer the objective based gameplay. So still going to be stuck with Huttball . And who knows who will still play 8 vs 8 objectives with Deatmatch around. Oh well, I can live without PvP.
-
Probably. But I like the space, a nice diversion. Not a big fan of PvP. But space PvP would be awesome. If I want more I got Freelancer anyway Also, they super-obviously stole Peragus design there...
-
Us prefs get less XP . And I like it as completionist, no more super-overleveling. Anyway, the recent patches did away with a LOT of sub benefits. Fleet passes? Check. Quick travel (the only thing I envied subs for), check. PvP? Coming with 2.4. So the question remains, what is a subscription good for if they keep dressing it down like this? Is it what I theorised before that they are going to do away with subscriptions and go full F2P? Or do they listen to much to people who claim "f2p is unplayable" in ignorance, forgetting they screw over their paying costumers. I don't know. I'm not complaining (as sub), but I am wondering what tactic BioWare is trying here, and what the future will hold... For now; Hey, look! It's Peragus!

Tried Sleeping Dogs. Maybe it was because I played SR3 before that, but it just felt... super lacking. Also it's quite silly the 'full pack' I got launches you to lvl 8 with 500k money right at the start... *sigh*
-
RE requires 3 items. So in the old situation regular was 1 RE, crit was 2 RE. In the current situation regular is 1 RE, crit is 1 1/3 RE.
-
Played a bit of SR3. Finished the final mission of the main game. Final mission kinda hit-and-miss. Arrive at target area, lots of people to kill, good. They're all dead, you're still at 75%. So you're left with killing STAG from turrets of their trucks for a long while. Boring. And having teammates doesn't help. You could steal a truck with a mini-gun and fire, but your teammate just takes over the turret and makes it useless. Very annoying. And when dying you have to do it all over again. And that thrice. Didn't notice the second area spawned a tank last time, so got shot full in the face. Had to hide behind a pilar (modern games immersive gameplay for healing) for a while. Meanwhile, my teammate got shot. So I tried to revive him. The fun thing with console ports, and SR3 here too, is the 'omni-potent button'... E. Because damn if PC users use all these buttons they got. So after 2 unintended hostages, and 1 unintended hyacking, I finally revived him just in time. Of course all the ****ing about got me totally shot up, and I died. Thank you, multi-functional buttons :/ And as mentioned before, had to restart all over. Joy. Rage-quitted right there. That was yesterday, today I finished. Fortunately after the three-fight fest, 2 awesome conclusive 'missions' made it all better. Great choice in music (reminds me of how I got 'Ride of the Valkeries' first time I managed to obtain a tank to rampage the area. And a lot of funny gags in the final sequence ("My armor is immune to everything, aside from those conveniently placed shards!"). Afterwards finished Gangsta's in Space, which were a fun few missions. Then I tried The Trouble With Clones, but on the first mission 3 times in a row(!) managed to blow up my car 50m from the checkpoint, and thus having to redo the whole chase each time, and decided to (again) do something else for a change... Queue game 2. Binding of Isaac. Played it a while back. Decided it was a short little distraction waiting for some other game to download (meanwhile scoring some cards, if it wasn't for Steam fidelity), and got a bit hooked. Of course, like before, I still suck, and die a lot. And early. And often. I doubt I can ever complete this game. Will give more tries later though. Queue game 3. DLC Quest. A very funny parody on DLC. I loved the original campaign, albeit a bit short. Less charmed of the new campaign. Of course, awesome it was released free for anyone buying the game, and it's also longer. And funnier. Than why do I like it less? Because unlike the original they tried to make it a true platform game. The first had some simple puzzles. The second walljumping, reloading, spikes to avoid, etc. I suppose for a platformer it's awesome, but I don't really like platform-games, and having to do time all those jumps and redo and rejump and retrack distracted from the funny jokes, and made it a chore. Felt like quitting a lot, and eventually did having 175 coins, and needing 200 for the final boss, which are all in... a platform area with spikes and walljumps etc. No thanks. Queue game 4. Deponia. Can't comment yet since it takes Steam 2.5 hours to download it. Should be done soon though, so hopefully I can dive in it now

They changed the patchnotes? It definitely said 3/6 when I read those 2.3 notes a while ago. And yes, aside from Gromnir's mention, the change is also a slap-in-the-face for new crafters, when previously a crit meant 2 RE's (double the chance for the better version) you're now left with nothing, and crits are nowhere near as valuable.
-
I miss patches who actually preformed their function (fixing bugs), rather than make stuff worse. Aaaanyway, still going strong on SR3's DLC, waiting for a sale. Can't say aliens and superpowers fill me with confidence though.
-
So, I wanted to play a game of mine, and Steam is downloading it at 100 kb/s. What the hell, Steam? Wasn't that bad when trying 65MB DLC Quest, but this game I want now is 2.9GB. Went 2 mb/s for the first 2.4GB atleast. Also Steam seems to have issues keeping up what games I play. Several Saints Row III achievements are missing (meh), and it doesn't count my playtime for Binding of Isaac (which I care a bit more for, since that means no cards, which means no cash on the side)...
-
The patchnotes specifically state the 401+ biochem rewards were changed from 1/2 to 3/6 (which makes sense, crit allowing 2 RE's in both cases). So yes, it's a bug. An annoying one for Biochem crafters.

Oh yeah. How much I wouldn't love for BioWare to take out the fleet completely, and move all parts elsewhere, like the Capitol (Dromund Kaas/Coruscant). Most of it is already there anyway. And some server-wide chat so for LFG's for ops you don't need to be on the fleet (they have a priority shuttle there so you can go from anyplace, but no invites!). Less fleet would lead to a better SWTOR in my opinion. Sadly, BioWare doesn't seem to move into the direction to make the player able to be less fleet-dependant Yup, the Tatooine, Alderaan, Quesh (albeit less since no alternative instances to farm) and Nar Shaddaa bosses are usually dead since they're soloable and people just kill them for their stupid goal (note to BioWare; change it to 3 DIFFERENT worldbosses instead of mere 3 to reduce a lot of this sillyness), farming some purple items for the GTN or being a pain-in-the-ass (grieving newbies who plan to get it, keeping it occupied for half an hour since immune even with enrage, you know the type). I generally stopped bothering with world bosses some time ago, they're just not worth it the way they're added to the game. It will only annoy you if you want to kill them for the goal, and I rather have fun than be hugely annoyed. Odd, eh? Oh, yeah, hell yeah. Though they were quite good helping me out when I had issues with subscribing for a month, bug reports, not so much. Ingame you generally get the standard response as noticed. Will they read it, I don't know. It took them months to finally note the Taral V issue on the known issues and even more for them to fix it (in 2.3.1 apparently, feel free to search up when I mentioned it on these boards ). And that wasn't a minor issue, but a flashpoint breaking event. Another funny story is when I recently reported their crafting tweak was broken. A recent patch (2.2?) was supposed to change 401+ biochem items from giving 1 (regular) or 2 (critical) to 3 (normal) or 6 (critical). Instead it was giving 3 on regular and 4 on critical. Reporting this and another issue with the Encrypted Datacubes (the final reward for all 8 is not given if f2p) the response was 'It should not happen' (to the datacubes one)... well, it did. As for the other, they couldn't check it out for me since I was pref, not sub. Now if I was a sub they could check this bug for me. It's a bug! It's not part of just my character, everyone experiences it. :/ Anyway, I still send ample bugreports per mail to support (since can't send ingame tickets), despite knowing it's probably futile, since that's just who I am. I keep trying, hopefully I can make them aware of atleast a few they don't know since tickets dissapear into the void. Atleast the recent patches seem to fix more stuff than just the Cartel Market, so it seems it goes the right way. The earlier mentioned Taral V issue finally got fixed 6 months after they created it (and thus, I reported it). They seemingly made that one Czerka quest less crappy (still haven't checked it, probably still is very laggy). That seems all good. Also; They devaluaded subs even more again, with more to come 2.4. I wonder what those people are left with in the end.

So, collectables? Dunno, kinda mixed feelings on that. They usually turn out pretty lame in a lot of games, and I don't quite see what it would add to PE compared to actually useful loot... I suppose being able to decorate your stronghold is nice for those that want it, but not my cup o' tea. EDIT: The bookcase listed above would be nice though, yes.

Sounds like a different issue, teammates breaking after doing the sparring on the training mat. AFAIK it's related to breaking the code of the battle before the handmaidens have a chance to go hostile and the scripts run their proper course. If so, your only option is to reload to a save before you sparred.

Onderon Palace Kavar Bug (Spoilers!)
Hassat Hunter replied to will2932's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Mods? The force pushing is something TSLRCM added. In vanilla it was just talk. So if you use TSLRCM it seems something is conflicting here making the scene not run as we intended it. -
Siding with the mercenaries without fighting Vrook
Hassat Hunter replied to Grone's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You have to side with the Militia first and then turn the Administrator over once they entered Khoonda... -
Takes a few tries, but once you get a feel where to pop the power ups, you're pretty much 95% guaranteed to always win it next time. It's kinda like Ilum, variable. I've been able to solo them all so far, but lvl 51's/55's on Hutta/Ord Mantell, so that doesn't say much... The quest gives you a copy clone of the macro binos to finish the quest. And I've yet to see a need for seeker droids yet. So that's either an error, or on a different planet? I assume you get a clone copy too then for those not having them.

@ Gorth; The dreadseed is a completely seperate sideplot, not connected to any other plotline in the game. So if it doesn't make sense now, it still wont do proceeding further down the game XD. Space combat is only hard if you don't know what to do. The heroics really require you to pop the 'immunity' power up and EMP at very specific times. Once you know those times, it becomes a breeze. And rather boring, since there's really no leniety there. Just having to do those very specific actions each time again :/

I don't know... I've never played The Elder Scrolls and thought "I want to play this with other people"... the best thing was there WERE no other people. Still that got a MMO treatment. I doubt I will play it though. Likewise what point is there to play the GTA's or so together. I mostly play the GTA, JC, Saint Row story, do some sidestuff, then move on... So you get a 'meh' from here aswell... from me atleast
