Cannot buy more scenarios on iOS
Flounder replied to Justdanielle's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
And that Game Center is up to date. Actually, that applies to Google Play Games and Steam Launcher in general. If you are on a platform that has either GPG, GC, or the launcher out of date, it might fire off the game but not log you in. -
Sandpoint Under Siege:

Thanks, sir. I think we have a fix for this being tested right now. -
1.2.8 bonus leaking problem
Flounder replied to Hannibal_PJV's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Good lord... Noted. -
Well said. Being Obsidian's first mobile game we learned a lot of thing to not do in the future. That is for certain. I apologize that the notification of a price change only coming from a single in-game banner a while ago. The blog post was written but the publish button was never hit and for that, I am sorry.

Patch 1.2.7 Rise of the Goblins!
Flounder replied to Aarik D's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Announcements & News
Hi Folks, Just going to confirm what Aarik D said and give a little clarity. KNOWN ISSUES: - iOS only - The Store is not letting you buy the Goblin Campaign. We are in contact with Apple on this. Their product ID in iTunes isn't matching what we have in the game. If they change a single digit in iTunes the iOS store will magically work. If they cannot make that change, for some reason, we will have a patch (likely tomorrow) that will fix this. If you have your iOS linked to an account that already has the Goblin campaign you will be able to play it normally. It just not working directly from the store at the moment. - Obsidian Upgrade not giving me my Goblins! This would only apply to folks that had some support issue and were granted the Upgrade through them. Any purchased upgrade or someone with the full Obsidian Edition purchased wouldn't have come across this. This was a result of a missing package in the support tools. We now do an audit of content on launch of the game so this wouldn't happen anymore, but there was a brief window of folks what were missing their Goblin campaign that logged in before we had the audit in there. As always, we will keep an eye out on the forums and support channels, so let us know if you find anything not working properly and we will jump on it. -F -
Hey Dirtyjenkins, I am sure that support@obsidian.net is probably going to say the same thing as this, but we suggest getting the most recent patch and seeing if this is an issue. We just implemented streaming of characters and their cards as well as streaming cards from Unclaimed in deck management. -F

Can't see power descriptions
Flounder replied to RinKaihou's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Or any other issues for that matter... --- Update: We discovered this morning there were users with graphics corruption (missing text/awesome pink text) that we narrowed down to only ASTC phones. A quick tidbit, Android supports six different texture compressions depending on what chipset your device is using. We checked out internal builds again and everything was working. Believe it or not, Google is still pretty much the Wild West of platforms. Their basic rule of three for apps that get uploaded: No Porn, No Viruses/Malware, App must launch. That's basically it. So the ASTC build went in with the other five and "All was well". Except that it wasn't. Somewhere between our upload and the user's download the build got corrupted but still launched. We remade the EXACT same build that was uploaded, changed the build number, and it worked fine. BUT, and this is the big thing, something almost always goes wrong and NEVER do a patch on a Friday. When it goes wrong, we have to fix it quickly, and weekends are kind of nice to not be at work. So we truly hope that everything is fine but if there is anything nasty, we are on call to fix it. I was also the one that made the call to do a Friday patch, so if **** goes bad, it is on me. -F /pray -
Hotfix Patch 1.2.6.4.2 is Live!
Flounder replied to Aarik D's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Announcements & News
There were instances with people having a lot of duplicate legendary cards in their decks and the game client (not the servers) removed the excess cards when a scenario was launched. It was buttsy and we removed that code until it could do what it is supposed to do properly. This really only affected people with larger amounts of rare cards. -F -
Why I'm angry.
Flounder replied to Borissimo's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
Valid points made in these posts. I even let Borissimo know that I will try and explain a bit of "How the sausage is made", if I can. It might give a bit or clarity but I am not sure it will actually give closure. Sorry for the rambling, it's been a long day. -
Pls make steam version free!
Flounder replied to askaelw's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
I will make an official post type post soon. I will have to have it vetted because I obviously don't say something incorrectly. I actually had planned to do that today but fires happened (looks at his watch) and are still happening now. -

1.2.6.3 Patch incoming
Flounder replied to Flounder's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
@thetang22 It sounds like two things are happening. 1) All your progress will not be gone, nor the cards, that is saved in PlayFab. It sounds like you are somehow logging into a new playfab account. Please send us your PFID and Account name and we will see is if the Asmodee login or something else is making that happen. 2) Party creation sounds like a memory issue. Every character has all its deck cards loaded with it. Lots of character and lots of cards can blow out the memory. We are working on a streaming solution right now that will keep that from happening but again, please send us a ticket at support@obsidian.net and we will verify that is the case and we can even remove some unused characters that might be lingering around sucking up memory. We're working on these issues and really do apologize for all this happening. -F -
Bugs from new version
Flounder replied to Porcellino's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
With all the patches going out, we didn't run the weekly quests. We didn't want a new patch to mess with possible progression... As for the QM reward, please send us a ticket at support@obsidian.net with that PFID and mentioning the 20th level character. We'll get your squared away but I can attest the queue is slightly elevated and it could take a little bit of time to get answered. -
1.2.6.3 Patch incoming
Flounder replied to Flounder's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
The next patch we do for issues is planned to have the memory issues for the character/party creation screen to not explode while trying to load all the characters AND their decks at the same time. Additionally, we are doing a pass on the Unclaimed tab so that it doesn't try to load all the cards at the same time and...explode. We'll have more official news but the implementation and testing of these changes but it isn't likely to get implemented and released for a couple weeks. -
1.2.6.3 Patch incoming
Flounder posted a question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hi Folks, First off I want to say thank you for your patience with support. Yes, 1.2.6 came out with some changes and a new platform, so our support staff has been a bit overwhelmed recently. Luckily, StormbringGT has returned from his play time at Origins to help with the influx. We do apologize for the delayed responses. Seriously, we hate-hate-hate having anybody unanswered for any length of time. Issues fixed: - Tutorial Progression Block - We found out that if the success animation was playing and a user hit the next button to go to the Victory screen the animation would keep playing. Then the user goes to the next scenario, beats it and it tries to call up that animation. Oh wait, it's still playing in the background, so the game waits for the animation to complete, but it doesn't... Stuck. - DLC Not showing up - We were blowing out the PlayFab servers with licensing. Basically, PlayFab has an allotted amount of time to deal with the calls it makes. Some calls were taking longer and timing out the server other times the server got interrupted and stopped making calls. The bandaid fix that we have right now is that every time you launch the game it audits what you have and makes about 50 or so calls to avoid the timing out issue. Multiple logins should get you your content in pieces UNTIL this patch. We have a decent audit process set up in the patch and this should be a non-issue. - Merging not complete - Same thing with the DLC. Servers were making too many calls and farting out. We will audit what you are supposed to have and make sure that everything is properly shared. - Characters disappearing - Renaming characters and removing them from the party removed them from the universe. DO NOT RENAME CHARACTERS until after 1.2.6.3 is live. It might be fine but for whatever reason if you renamed them and removed them from the party bad things could happen. If you renamed them and kicked more ass, everything was fine. Just avoid it for a bit. - Stash deleting cards - The Stash could get into a state where it thought the user was in a tutorial state where we have a specific deck of cards. It would then remove those the tutorial cards. - Logging into Asmodee made content disappear - Not really, we had to do a 1.2.6.1 patch that dealt with Asmodee issues where someone with an existing account would associate a new PFID. Locally, the content was still there but PlayFab thought you were a new account. By not being logged into Asmodee all the content would appear properly. Logging back in *Poof*. We might have to unlink the Asmodee account from PFID for a couple users but overall that will only require them to enter their Asmodee account information when they log. We are hoping to have this up tomorrow. We are updating the servers when iOS gets approved. Most of you vets know that iOS can be the bottleneck during the review process so we will get it up there as quickly as possible. Many thanks, -F RIP Stephen Furst, 1955-2017
