  1. Heya kvaak! Thanks for posting this! We had a problem that caused all spell-defense abilities to activate twice when they proc. This has been fixed in our internal build, and will be pushed in the next patch =) Thanks again!
  2. Heya Snick! Sorry you ran into this issue. You are correct in assuming that it's related to Fenwalkers; getting hit with a paralyze effect that was less than 3 seconds in length while equipped with Fenwalkers would result in you getting permanently paralyzed. We have fixed the issue, and you should be able to play with the fix by updating to the 3.02 beta =) Thanks for posting, and I hope you're enjoying the game!
  3. Heya Everybody! Nicholas Steel is correct; this is an official cheat command that kills whoever your mouse is currently over. It works on party members as well as enemies. To my knowledge it has been in the game since the beginning, but only works when you activate cheats =) Hope that clears things up!
  4. Hey everybody! Just to update this a little bit; when your character is wearing Fenwalkers and is paralyzed for less than 3 seconds, they are put in a permanent paralyzed state and can't do any actions. This has been fixed in our internal build, and will be pushed in the 3.02 update =) Sorry you ran in to this, and I hope you're enjoying the game!
  5. Heya desel! Thanks for pointing this out. Turns out there was an extra head bone attached to these bad boys, making all visual effects cast on them display in the wrong location. It's been fixed in our internal build, and you should see the change in the upcoming patch. =) Thanks again!
  6. Heya nem0! Vent Pick was set up in a way that made it only possible to proc once. After this initial proc, it would be unable to ever utilize the Flames of Devotion ability again. This has been fixed in our internal build, and you should see the change reflected in the next patch =) Thanks!
  7. That's a great question! I asked our designer, and he said that this is indeed working as intended. The only ones that are intended to stack with armor are the +DR bonuses =)
  8. Heya Iantzk! Another nice find! This problem has also been resolved in our internal build, and will be fixed in the upcoming patch =) Keep up the good work, and have fun with the game!
  9. Heya lantzk! Thanks for pointing this out. Fortunately this has already been fixed on our internal build, and it will be included in the next update =) Hope you're enjoying the game!
  10. Heya hilfazer! This was more of an exception to the rule; if armor suppressed the DR bonuses on equipment in other slots, the only way to get these items to work would be to not wear any armor. Stat bonuses and effects will still be suppressed, but the +DR specifically should stack. =) Hope that helps!
  11. Heya thelee! Thanks for pointing this out. Fortunately we are aware of this, and our designer has fixed it (along with all the other soulbound weapons that have this problem) in our internal build. You should see a fix in the next patch =) Thanks again, and I hope you're enjoying the game!
  12. Heya Brimsurfer and AndreaColombo! The attack speed penalty effects the total recovery of the character equipped with the ring, so it will indeed slow down your recovery from casting. That being said, you can counter the effect with items that give +attack speed, such as Gauntlets of Swift Action. Hope that helps! =)
  13. Heya AndreaColombo! This is for sure not intended, and you are correct in assuming the Cloak of Comfort suffers from this as well. Fortunately our designer has fixed this on our internal build, and the fix will be pushed in the next patch =) Thanks for being so awesome, and keep up the good work!
  14. Opinions are totally important MonkeyLungs! Sharing opinions is the best way to learn, grow, and improve as a community =) I understand where you're coming from; I'm a big fan of turn based combat as well, and it took me a pretty long time to get used to the real-time with pause system. Unfortunately there isn't a way to slow the combat down any more than with the slow button, but hopefully if you stick to it the combat will eventually click and you'll start to enjoy it more. That being said, White March Part 1 is for sure the most combat-heavy section, so (as mentioned by a few of the other posters) I think you'll enjoy Part 2 a lot more. Story time solves everything! Also you have the best Avatar ever on this site, you go aartz! Nice to see Story Time getting some love, and I appreciate that! =) Keep being awesome everyone!
  15. Heya limaxophobiacq! Thanks for pointing this out! Our designer fixed this (along with all of the soulbound weapons that were not marked as universal) in our internal build yesterday. The fix will be pushed in our next patch =) Thanks again, and keep being awesome!
  16. If combat's really not your thing you can always drop the difficulty down to Story Time. Even if it's just for a few fights that you don't really enjoy it'll help you speed up the time between story points
  17. Heya Sappy69! Nice find! I've been waiting for someone to ask about this, as it's one of my favorite bugs at the moment =) Fortunately this is already in our database, and a fix is being worked on for the next patch! Thanks, and I hope you're enjoying the game!
  18. The saves that are created when both expansions are installed simply won't show up when selecting "Load Game" with only the base game installed. This is to ensure there are no crazy retroactive bugs that might ruin the save entirely, and to make sure the game doesn't get stuck trying to load any asset bundles that are no longer available =) That being said, if you have any saves that you created before the expansions came out, they should still load fine after reverting back to base game. It just happens on save games created when the expansions are installed. Hope that clears things up!
  19. Heya Sylvus_Moonbow! Good find! Fortunately we discovered this issue a few days ago, and the nav mesh is currently being looked at =) Thanks for pointing this out, and I hope you're enjoying the game!
  20. Heya MonkeyLungs, Sorry to hear that you don't like the expansion as much as the base game. I do want to encourage you to play through the whole thing; it might grow on you! If you purchased the game and expansions through steam, there's a quick and easy way to remove them! In your steam library, click on Pillars of Eternity and find the "DLC" section. Un-check the boxes for the expansions and steam will uninstall them. The base game should still work fine, although any saves you created while both expansions were installed won't be available. Hope that helps =)
  21. And I thought that the limit in Story Time is 99. Which brings me to this question: what will happen if I have the max quantity of camping supplies and then change my difficulty level to higher? Surplus simply vanishes? Heya Messier-31, If you have too many camping supplies before switching difficulties it will discard all of your extras until you're at the cap. So if you are playing on storytime and have 90 camping supplies but decide to switch to hard, the game will immediately cut you down to 2 after saving the difficulty. Switching back to story time at this point will not restore your camping supplies, so be careful! Hope that answers your question =)
  22. Heya! I was a victim of this bug yesterday. I wrote up a report and sent it to our programming department to work on a fix. Verifying the cache (if you have steam) and relaunching the game seemed to fix it for me. If that doesn't work, can you please upload your save files and output logs? Thanks! =)
  23. Heya Anwyn and copperleaves! Thanks for reporting this issue. We have fixed the problem with rest dialogues and pushed it in today's 3.01 patch! Updating the game should solve this issue =) Hope you're enjoying the game!
  24. Heya Tanred! Thanks for posting this on the forums! Our designer fixed this in our internal build today, so you should see it fixed in the next patch =) Thanks again, and I hope you're having fun!
  25. Heya Kregan, Thanks for pointing this out! Fortunately we are aware of this issue, and a fix has been pushed in today's 3.01 patch. If you update your game this should be fixed =) Thanks again, and I hope you're enjoying the game!
