  1. That makes me think it's a false positive stemming from a byte mismatch test or the like. It's not unheard of, in fact it's not that uncommon at all.
  2. Are you sure it was not the result of bad hex editing or the like? It seems like a false positive is more likely in that case.
  3. Really? I've never had the issue with mods - what one was it and from where? Yes, just "rip" the DLC out of your "C:\Users\[YourName]\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\AddIns" folder -make sure to get the AddIns XML from the "C:\Users\[YourName]\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Settings" as well- after you've downloaded it if you want to back it up.
  4. Wow... Impressive!
  5. This. I might buy it if it comes out in a combined pack but for the most part I think I'll skip the DLC for now. However, the main game is great - so, yeah, Dragon Age is worth the money I just wish the DLC was handled better.
  6. No. In that case it should be in the game and not DLC at all.
  7. Huh? The demo is public now.
  8. Huh? I could do a custom installation... Yeah, that was a bit annoying to say the least. Still... It is sort of cool once you set it up.
  9. That sucks, but probably not impossible. They are pretty rare. Yeah, I've only found two of them so far (and I gave both of them away as they were a) not my preferred weapon and b) worse than the purple items I was using).
  10. If you just want new campaigns then I'd recommend you download some of the L4D maps out there - some of them are actually rather good.
  11. From what I've seen, yes. The new sounds, characters, and music are not great either.
  12. It feels like a badly-made mod of Left 4 Dead. Yeah... Because Valve is incapable of making bad games.
  13. That's $9.99 USD - a good deal.
  14. I played a bit of Dragon Age and moved to the Left 4 Dead 2 demo. The first game is good, the second not so much. In fact, I would go so far as call it horrible.
  15. No. Well, I'm sure that will be modded into the game fairly soon (I might even take a crack at that).
  16. Uhhh... No. You do not get the editor or user modifications - thus making it the limited release.
  17. And the coincidences just keep piling up. Still hunting for witches? Well here's a data point for you - I'm not going to sign up for it either, or at least not until I have to, and yet I have a legal copy of the game. Yup, that's true. But accoutering to mkreku Logicâ„¢ I must be a pirate.
  18. So you bought the more expensive version, limited version and are complaining about the price of the less expensive, "full" one?
  19. However many games are that way, and most of those only require a 0-to-1 .ini edit to re-enable it.
  20. I got my copy of Dragon Age tonight and will install it shortly - however some deadlines are approaching and I really need to work on those things first.
  21. They sometimes put deactivated instead of out of stock - so my guess is that it will be "reactivated" as soon as another shipment comes in.
  22. This has been on my buy list for some time, glad to see it's not vaporware.
  23. What kind of DRM system does D2D use on Dragon Age? I ask, because if they used some sort of "burn once" or "copy once" DRM, that would allow me to copy/burn the downloaded game to one disc for archival than I would be interested in buying it from them. If on the other hand, they require online activation each time I want to install the game, than I will just purchase the disc version. This link has information about the digital download copies' DRM - the retail version will only have a disc-check.
