  1. It might also be a SecuROM trigger - I seem to remember that there was one around that level that would make your game slow down so much that it became unplayable.
  2. Arggg... A Fallout MMO.
  3. Nor would I as HotU was the best of the official NWN I games and NWN 2 OC was the weakest of the NWN 2 games.
  4. Ok... I'm fairly sure people weren't outraged because it's a FPS.
  5. Yes. You neglect the fact that some of us do not buy Starbucks for the same reason we think the DLC is not that great - it's too expensive for what you're getting.
  6. It got put of perpetual hold - id est it got canceled without them calling it canceled.
  7. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
  8. Uhhh... No. Warden's Keep is a bit of Dragon Age DLC that is rather short and limited for the price it's offered at.
  9. It had a better than average story for a shooter -id est better than "point gun and shoot- but was not that great.
  10. I'vr played through it and it is an interesting little quest... However it is a stretch to say that it's worth $7. If it had been in the $2.00-$4.00 range it would be worth it - but currently the price is a bit high for what you're getting.
  11. That's semi-incorrect. Some people have found that the DLC has caused their saves to become unusable offline as it wants to check with your account when it tries to access that content. I've not had that issue myself but I've not played offline either. I guess I'll try it tonight and see.
  12. I would write something about the professor topic but, seeing as it's about 3:30 in the morning here and I need to get up tomorrow, I think I'll let it wait until later.
  13. Nice guns!
  14. That would be unfortunate as the PC I'm building now will be running Windows 7 x64. I'm starting to think that, despite the advantages,I should have gotten a x86 version as well (while it's on sale for $30).
  15. From the Social Website's FAQ: You cannot update your email address on this site - you would need to go to profile.ea.com to manage the email address associated with your EA account. Note that this would change it for all EA games and sites! Oh, thanks! I had not noticed that.
  16. Argg... I found out something annoying. The BioWare SocialNetwork Account for Dragon Age is tied to a single e-mail address that cannot be changed. In other words all the DLC you might get is tied to that address - so if you change it down the line...
  17. I'm playing with one and doing ok I guess - but then I'm also using some of the experimental hotfixes and mods to make weapons use both dexterity and strength when attacking.
  18. I can agree that this is the case - even people who know that I'm over 17 request an ID just in case the bossman is looking. And that's not just as GameStop, Best Buy and other stores have the same policy.
  19. Have you tried different drivers? Some of ATI's don't work well with KotOR 2.
  20. Some of us like disc copies.
  21. No it's not. Just like the adverts for the Empire at War DLC -a pop-up whenever you start the game until you tweak a setting or but the stuff- it is an invasive, annoying form of advertisement that forces itself on the player. One does not have to read the forum announcements about DLC, one does have to see the in-game advert if one clicks on that NPC (and there is no warning about the NPC not being usable beforehand). The two are not equivalent at all.
  22. No, that's not correct as the forum is not in the game while the NPC salespeople are.
  23. And I'll likely do what I did with NWN - buy the main game and expansions as they come out and then grab the final package after it drops in price.
