  1. The only reason I don't use it more is because I prefer small studio or indie titles. Other than that, I think its as good and in some ways better than steam.
  2. While featured in numerous forms of storytelling across multiple mediums, the story of Faust doesn't have a literary background. He was mostly a folk story eventually written down much like Baba Yaga.
  3. We look forward to your return in October.
  4. But if they pull the swtitcheroo with you taking meds because you're crazy then finding your way out of a randomized town could make some sense.
  5. Worst meet cute ever.
  6. My life is now complete.
  7. I bought and played Oxenfree (GOG summer sale). I'm not a big point and click fan, but I loved this game. My only complaint is .
  8. My reaction was more of a groan.
  9. @Lexx: The first mod I installed was full XP for all quests for this very reason.
  10. I reject your feeble attempts to bring this thread back on topic.
  11. It has all the same meaning as my Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines addiction: it's just me.
  12. I almost never say this in video games, but those boars are cheats. If I recall, there's five of them and they spam that charging move that gives you no choice but to roll and rolling in TW3 always causes a second delay for your follow up action. Stunning doesn't work great and without some kind of poison, bleeding, or burning effect on the boars it's difficult to do damage because of their movements. I didn't try Axii, maybe, similar to the giant spiders (whom I also hate), they're weak to Axii sign.
  13. He won't, as he's five years dead.
  14. I was until I watched the trailer. I was hoping for a, as Sorophx said, monster hunter-like game with robot monsters.
  15. Bought. I haven't played Homeworld since it's original release.
  16. I approve If you didn't you'd have to go on my ignore list.
  17. The modern euphemisms do bother me, but because the original game is in Polish, I can't be sure if that's CD's or the translator's fault so I just brush it off.
  18. I've got about twenty hours into Blood and Wine and it's like the devs took the best parts of the base game, put it into a tighter package, added more cinematics and improved uses of POI. I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first, but now that I have a better sense of what they are trying to do I like it more than I like B &W more than TW3.
  19. In all seriousness, I love gwent but don't like all the meta in-game gwent related jokes. They're not as bad as the nug jokes in Dragon Age Inquisition, but they're still wearing.
  20. If you want to level faster in TW3 on PC, there mods to increase xp rewards. The bigger hurdle is the main game quest that acts as the requirement to start B&W is in the middle of the game.
  21. With both Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine you have an option in the New Game section to choose to play one (or maybe both, I haven't tried since HoS) expansions rather than the whole game. You're automatically upscaled to the suggested level requirement for that expansion. They also give you a free potion (I can't remember its name) to let you reset all you ability points so you can still custom your build, a good number of potions and mutigens and some decent equipment. The downside is that you don't have as many mutigens as you would playing through on your own, not all the alchemy products are maxed out, and miss out on a few ability points because apparently the 'auto Geralt' didn't catch (the equipment isn't a problem because you can still find all the witcher school schematics).
  22. And people wonder why I find adults in full costume creepy.
  23. Such is the downside of add-ons for already huge games. Despite buying each of them, I never got around to playing Skyrim DLC for the same reason.
