I'm tempted to write something about getting excited about '17 releases but I'm too old and bitter to get worked up enough to mock.

No, no they don't.

It's a bit clunky but it was a fun 2D Deus Ex. Payed €18 or something for it and was fairly happy with that. 2D Deus Ex, eh? Color me interested. Can you ghost it? I haven't played very much of it, but it's kind of like SNES Shadowrun mixed with a beat 'em up. I'm not using the stealth approach, though. Mostly been using the 'punch anything that moves' approach. But you can stealth at least some of it? You don't have to kill everyone? Okay, messed around with it for awhile. I think there are large sections you can stealth, BUT there's no stealth skill (which may or may not be a bonus depending on your gaming preferences), must of the time you'll be using stealth to get around and get insta-kills on NPCs (although most of those sections you can avoid killing if you so choose), you'll still have to fight a fair bit, and at least the first couple of bosses you can't be stealthed (which should totally be a word, but isn't) around. Note: This is from speedrunning the first few quests and not from trying a stealth approach for an entire game.

And this is a problem because... ? A guarantied way to make crafting worse is to make it real-time. I don't want to leave my computer on for ten years to get a master crafted sword.

Hearts of Stone is an independent story that doesn't connect with the overarching story of W3. Blood and Wine does, and, more importantly, is supposed to be a big send off for Geralt. Narratively, Hearts of Stone fits best before the start of the game while Blood and Wine belongs at the end. B&W becomes available (though I wouldn't do it that early) after finishing the A Poet In Need quest.

That's why I always play a rogue. It's amusing to pickpocket teammates and bail in the middle of combat.

There's an extra male character model in the PC version.

Jade Empire was made by BioWare and was ported to PC by LTI Gray Matter.

Ewww. Given the tentacle/rectum thing going on there, I imagine that's considered a delicacy among the otaku subculture.

Except the loot drops were horrible in comparison. Find a legendary purple weapon but its useless compared to a crafted weapon made of simple iron. I liked crafting in the Witcher games, but that's because it made sense with alchemy and the role it plays in both gameplay and in the fiction, but many games that are adding/have added crafting systems in recent years didn't need one and don't benefit from it.

The truth of the matter is that few developers are going to up res their recent backlog for either the PS4 Pro or the Xbox Scorpio.

Divinity : original sin 2 early access. Probably more of a demo than a beta. There are some exciting changes but most of those aren't available. I feel like I probably should've waited until full release before downloading.

I never thought I'd say it, but good for you, Valve.

The Enterprise never had a big crew. Just the supply of redshirts. The saucer section is..what, 2 decks? The main body is about the size of a destroyer..and is mostly made up of the engine room? It does make the wide halls and spacious rooms seem less likely, though.

There were a couple that kinda fit. The first to jump to mind was something along the lines of swimming through an underground river and potentially drowning while trying to fetch some bling due to a lack of sufficiently high constitution and athletics. Not a real "push button and die."

Isn't the entire point of the Asari that they are a single sex race that telepathically appears as attractive to males of other species as a mating function, like the reason we see them as tentacle headed blue humans is because we are human, to Turians and Salarians they appear as attractive tentacle headed blue Turians and Salarians? Its tentacle sex, who's looking at their face?

Kevin J. Anderson wrote the books, Brian Herbert just provided the material and raked in the cash. And they're actually pretty good if you can take your fanboy glasses off.

After the original owners retired EA brought in some online gaming/MMO guys as regional and primary general managers. They don't know how to make a game that isn't an MMO.

Jensen, for sure. At least Geralt has a sense of humor and can take a joke.

Has anyone played Enderal yet? Downloaded and converted yesterday but haven't had a chance to play yet.

Tonally, the story is a fusion of the two. It can deal with darker, disturbing themes similar to tW2, and is quick to adopt a lighter, down to earth tone of tW1. The amazing thing for me was how well the writers went from one to the next with leaving me confused or making that switch feel contrived.

The metric system is awesome; everything divisible by ten. Soccer, on the other hand, still sucks. Inductive reasoning tells me that Soccer must not be divisible by ten. Eleven players on each team and single digit scores. Yep, this checks out.
