  1. For shame, fellas! For shame! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So he has as much respect for us as we do for him! Everybody's happy! :D (For the record, I live on my own and pay for all I have. Thank you and good night.)
  2. So let me get this straight. Some forum stranger dude who says he is an ex-CIA agent(another thread) asks questions about your country's defense and you guys simply answer away? Collaborators!
  3. Well, they're animated bones. A-N-I-M-A-T-E-D bones. Therefore, they itch and they are bored. No more explanation needed.
  4. It's pretty good; buit it is a game that you either hate or love... no middle path. Basically it is a gothic-like shoot 'em up with loads of baddies to shoot at. So don't expect Half-Life2 or Deus Ex like use of Tactics, comparable to the other of those genre like Serious Sam (but with less and a bit more intelligent enemies; and darkier instead of SS' cuteness graphics) or Doom The levelbuilding is amazing, and the graphics are (even if olded) still pretty good (the 1.61 patch featuring engine upgrades might have helped). Physics cause downed enemies to make the most amazing stunts. But back to the levelbuilding; that is just way better than founded in any other games IMO. Even if all levels (besides 2 or 3) are
  5. Because they are itchy and bored.
  6. Charlie was interesting at first. I found his struggle and the outcome inspiring. But ever since Claire "dumped" him he's become this mean back orifice. He should have another long talk with Rose. The show is heading towards a Lord of the Flies thing.
  7. Who doesn't?
  8. I know from a reliable source that LucasArts is working on at least 3 titles for 2006-2007. I know nothing else, sorry. And most of you probably know more anyway. :">
  9. You mean Ed Wood, don't you? And since Mr. Wood did have some fame, it could be He-Who's-Name-Will-Never-Be-Spoken's career goal.
  10. I never played Painkiller(I've had bad experiences with Dreamcatcher). How is it? What can you compare it to and what are the best features/parts according to you Hassat(I've read reviews but want more opinions please)?
  11. Spell that N-E-V-E-R. The Godfather Game is...meh. Sure, it's a GTA 3 clone, but it's mediocre at best, and their interpretation of New York reminded me of Liberty City, a little too much. A lot of the time I half expected the next mission to involve blowing up a fish factory*. *See the mission "Blow Fish" for GTA 3 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> At least there are no remote control helicopters! GRR! But it does get repetitive if you stear away from the storyline missions. You basically extort people between missions. Not much else to do. And the money you get(weekly pay is a nice touch) isn't all that usefull so far(about 10 hours in). I think the fun is in reliving the events of the movie through another perspective. I am at the point where Sonny is preparing a war so I guess thats about 75% of the movie missions but there will still be a lot to do after that, although it will still be extortion and warehouse takeovers. I'm expecting the game to get boring when the movie missions are done(but I like it a lot so far, sorry). The weapons sound well and are better in some situations(the Tommy for vehicles and groups, shotgun for close quarters, etc) but I've been doing fine with the .38 Luca gave me at the start, no upgrades. Because most enemies can be killed with one shot to the head and it's easy to do so. Could be a problem for some. I would compare it more to Mafia, although that game was definitaly better(I prefered Mafia over GTA3 and VC, sorry again), and not just because of the subject matter. Gameplay, graphics, sounds, story, etc are very similar. Mafia was harder also.
  12. Here in Montreal, EBGames stores all have copies of Freelancer(at least the stores I regularly go to). For 19.99$CAN(about 17USD).
  13. I wasn't talking about strippers. I was talking about the "normal" women. They have this great "Girl next Door" thing going on which is just so irresistible.
  14. Zootherapy.

    Let

Why have trillions when you can have zillions? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> actually, oil companies hire out their services. logging companies are the ones that know where and how much oil is left, and there is so much competition in that arena that there's no way they're keeping it secret. i.e. everyone knows about current reserves, it's the undiscovered stuff we don't know about. there's also the issue of deposits such as shale, which are just first becoming economically viable again. taks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well(pun intended) ok, that makes a lot of sense.
  16. There was. Smartest answer in this thread so far.
  17. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I figured you'd be more upset at him having sex with your wife. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Funny. <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> She thought so too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ok, that does not help me relieve stress. But I bet it helps you guys. My work is done.
  18. GJK should get a job and/or a girl/boyfriend. How are we a secret society? Everybody knows about us and you know what we want you to think you know. Go about your pathetic daily little lives and let us control the world, as it has always been, as it will always be.
  19. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I figured you'd be more upset at him having sex with your wife. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Funny. <_<
  20. No it does NOT.
  21. Would Canada count as US in this case? Cuz we got both Miss Marple and Poirot at some point.
  22. If you've never seen Quebec women in your life(you probly have though, this being internet and all...) you are in for a treat. You won't give a crap about what they speak. :D

    Let

you assume it is only millions. trillions is a better assumption. after billions already spent on solar power, it is still too inefficient for general use. wind power has seen billions as well, and it is horribly inefficient. billions have been spent on making ethanol, yet it still cost 29% more fuel to make than the corn produces. still. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Alrighty, I assumed incorrectly. Was thinking more along the lines of what one would pay for a patent or something on a new concept, not the research that's already taken place. given that you borked the very first assumption, i'd say the rest is suspect. taks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How so? You're saying that they, meaning the oil companies, aren't looking into alternatives in order to maintain a tight grip on future fuel sources? If not, that's a bit short-sighted of them, don't you think? Eventually, and we're talking decades, not centuries, we'll run out of crude...so they lose their product... Doesn't it stand to reason that they'd be right there to buy out any actual competition on the grounds that they need to protect both their current profits and may one day need the information or technology for future endeavors? I have no idea what I'm talking about. The point was there, but I lost it by trying to sound intelligent and debate-like. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Aren't they the only ones who really know how much crude is left? I would guess that when it runs out, they will sell everything to the highest bidder before the wells are dry, buy a country like Australia and retire, multi trillionnaires. They don'tcare about future generations, only theirs. Meh.
  24. Hey now! We are NOT French. We speak it sure, but we are Canadians.
