  1. So like a suppression basically? That would be nice. Since you can "play" a little bit more with Power Level than with char level - so you could achieve better values once you buff PL but won't fall beneath the level scaling. Cool! I actually have no problem with twofold scaling per se. I think it's pretty nice if a Monk/Priest of Woedica or sombody with Monastic UT can get a bit more out of these fists. Only atm the numbers are way off, especially for ACC and PEN. Double dmg bonus is not that OP because it's only additive. So maybe TSuff and MonUT could still give a bonus to Woedica's Fists, just not as big as it does to "normal" fists. Maybe that's possible to do without too much fuss?
  2. Thanks Andy - my favorite QA superhero from the OGU* )* Obsidian Gaming Universe
  3. engagement also gets canceled by several afflictions (on enemies or you). You can check if you engaged enemies: only then you will see those green "dotted arrow lines" that connect you with the enemy. So far Mob Stance worked very reliably for me.
  4. Since one of the protagonists of Forgotten Sanctum is Maura tentacles are a given.
  5. Hi! With Woedicans as NPCs we already noticed (and reported) months ago that their Spiritual Weapon "Fist" scales with character level (as all summoned weapons do) - but also that Monastic Unarmed Training or Transcendent Suffering get applied. This leads to a kind of double-scaling: one scaling with char level, the other one with Power Level (through MonUT/TSuff). I gave Xoti that spell an also Monastic UT, look what happens: It's very potent and a lot of fun of course. And it was ok until now because we couldn't pick that class anyway (without mods). But I guess it's not intended?
  6. Yes. 1 Spell use per spell tier per 6 seconds. While Fighters gain 1 Discipline... I already suggested to alter the effects of Brilliant based on the resource pool (regain spells less frequently, for example every 20s) but so far it's still this imbalanced mess.
  7. That was the case when they were NPCs only, yes. I haven't tested the new iteration yet. But if people say the summoned fists still profit from Transcendent Suffering...
  8. That's because you haven't leveled enough I think. The summoned fists scale with char level while at the same time Transcendent Suffering or Monastic Unarmed Training scales with Power Level. This gives the Woedica Fists + Transcendent Suffering basically double the ACC bonus and double the dmg bonus - which works extremely well with the raw lash. As comparison: normally the "base" of Transcendent Suffering, the monk's fists, don't scale at all during the game and still nobody ever comlained that monk's fists with Transcendent Sufferung were weak...
  9. Shattered Pillars can still generate wounds with the AoE damage of Spirit Lance as long as they only use auto-attacks and no attack abilities with it.
  10. I never choose Shattered Pillar for Sage because the wound generation through Alacrity doesn't work then.
  11. Good question. I think they do count. But I didn't pay attention to that specifically to be honest.
  12. Grab a Morning Star and the thickest armor you can find (usually Patinated Plate), raise AR further with items and abilites like Thick Skinned. Pick Weapon Proficiency Morning Star (granting Body Blows), Frenzy, Bloodlust, Savage Defiance, Blood Thirst, Dragon Leap, Brute Force, Heart of Fury, Barbaric Retaliation among others. If nobody else wants to use them, keep Serafen's mortars in your second weapon slot and use them for Heat of Fury. They also work with Barbaric Retaliation. Barbaric Retaliation is also very good with Battle Axes and Bleeding Cuts. It doesn't work against ranged attacks.
  13. Magistrate's Cudgel's instakill only works on kith I think. Would fit somehow. I believe Cipher's can't target allies with most of their damaging powers...? ALso ciphers get no focus from hitting charmed enemies. Debonaire/Devoted could make sure that there's decent crit damage. Also a rare case where "Improved Critial" might be ok. So far Pernicious Cloud is the only ability I found that can (crit) damage charmed enemies without flipping their alliance back to hostile. A problem is that you will also hit your party members OR will have to suffer Cowardice (since Pern. Cloud is centered on the rogue).
  14. The Debonaire gets the bonus no matter who charms the enemies. Also works on non-kith. Only the Rogueish Charm is restricted to kith enemies. It's very long lasting but has only a range of 2 meters.
  15. Hi, I did a quick Debonaire/Wizard test and brough a Cipher as well for charming. Everything works as advertised as long as I have Dirty Fighting. Then all charmed enemies (no matter who charmed them) receive crits from me (if I hit in the first place). But the combat log seldomly states [Debonaire] as reason for the conversion - but nearly always says [Dirty Fighting]. Especially with weapon attacks it always says [Dirty Fighting]. With spells I see [Debonaire] every now an then. This can't be because Dirty Fighting only has a 10% chance to trigger. If I have no other source of conversion chance then the Debonaire conversion doesn't seem to work at all. Combat log says "[]" sometimes. Could you investigate? Also since people find the Debonaire quite underwhelming so far you might consider to add "dominated" to the qualifiers for the crit conversion. So far it only works on charmed enemies. Maybe that's not too powerful?
  16. CC-Spells that don't hurt charmed enemies don't break the charm but still have 100% hit to crit. Like Pull of Eora. So you can keep critting the charmed enemy with CC.
  17. Did a test with Fireball: all crits on charmed xaurips. You need friendly fire spells. ANd it seems you need one other source of crit conversion. Maybe Debonaire conversion is weirdly implemented. Fireballs flips alliance back. Pernicious Cloud does NOT!
  18. Hmm.. maybe it's an issue with Dirty Fighting - or simply spells don't work. That it nearly always says Dirty Fighting for me might be a hint that there's an unintended interminling (code wise).
  19. I don't know how you tested it, but I just tried Debonaire with a fellow Cipher: Cipher uses Whisper of Treason: Debonaire crits. Ringleader charmed 5 enemy xaurips. 1 dominated, 4 charmed. Debonaire cast Pernicious Cloud: all 4 charmed xaurips received crits. The combat log says hit -> [Debonaire] -> crit. Also they didn't flip back and kept their charmed affliction... So it is indeed possible to use the crit conversion on all charmed targets, no matter who or how applied. I didn't check spells yet. Pernicious Cloud was a first good test because it has firendly fire (else you couldn't hit the charmed). My first impression is that a Debonaire/Cipher would be pretty neat. Against kith you can always use Rogueish Charm if you don't have focus - against all others use your other charm powers. Or simply bring a Debonaire and a Cipher. Remember that the conversion does NOT work if you graze! Only hits get converted. Also with melee attacks the combat log will always say it converted due to Dirty Fighting. I guess that's just a cosmetic issue. So far I got 100% hit to crit conversion on charmed enemies as promised. Now I have to check if spells will work and which abilites/items do something special on crit. Guaranteed crits are nice...
