  1. Thanks for those screenshots HawkSoft. It seems to be working on our end so the fix should be in the next beta patch. Thanks!
  2. Oh I see, thanks for clearing that up for me! I'll bug it saying that the script needs to be updated. Thanks!
  3. Hey Iimaxophobiacq, Yes, that was the old description of the disorienting mod. It has been changed to -5 defenses on hit. The duration will refresh on every hit instead of stacking. I have put in a bug that Scon Micas Roar lowers the defenses by each bullet. We will also be changing how the debuff is applies. Thanks!
  4. Hello PrChewii, I don't believe that GOG Galaxy has a cloud storage service, and if it did, you would have to enable it on your own. Unfortunately if you didn't back up your saves before reformatting your PC, then there is no way to get your saves back. However, if you didn't partition the drive, there should be a "Old Windows" folder in your C: drive. If its still there, you might be able to find your old saves. Thanks!
  5. Hey everyone, This was indeed a bug and has been fixed in the 3.0 patch. Feel free to try it out in the beta branch! Thanks!
  6. Hello irishman, Could you please elaborate more on your issue please? What do yo mean when you say you dont have old saves? Thanks
  7. Hello dg90807, Welcome to the forums and thanks for joining us! Could you please upload a screenshot of what you are experiencing? Are you playing through Steam? If so, please verify your game cache and see if that solves your issue. In your Steam library, right click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Let me know how that goes. Thanks a bunch!
  8. Hey guys, At any point during this, did you quickload as soon as you loaded into any area? It could be related to this http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/83312-solved-issue-missing-items-and-companions/
  9. Hey HawkSoft, I checked in our latest build and it seems to be working correctly. If the grimoire is not in Aloth's or a wizard's inventory space, they will not be able to see if there is a spell that can be learned or not. The grimoire has to be in the wizard's inventory section. I hope that clears up the issue with you.
  10. Hey Iimaxophobiacq, Thanks for pointing this out. I have written up a bug and added it to our database. Thank you for your support and for participating in the beta!
  11. Hey HawkSoft, We have changed how fatigue is obtained in the game. Your party no longer gets tired as they travel long distances. You now get fatigued as an injury as a result of a companion becoming unconscious during combat. Feel free to leave any feedback on the new change! Cheers!
  12. Thank you for your kind words and feedback Tennisgolfboll. We really appreciate that you took the time to let us know how you like Story Time difficulty. Cheers!
  13. Hey HawkSoft, Thanks for pointing this out. I wrote up a bug about the art icon. Cheers! Thank you for participating in the beta!
  14. Thank you for your feedback guys, it is much appreciated. Its good to hear everyones views on both ends.
  15. Hey HawkSoft, Enabling Per Rest abilities activated the AI instruction set that will allow companions to use those per encounter abilities so you don't have to. Otherwise the will just auto attack without using spells or abilities unless you actively select them yourself. Cheer!
  16. Hey guys, These issues have been fixed and will be in the next coming patch! Thanks!
  17. Hey ss7877. The reason flails currently do not have any VFX is due to the way they are rigged. It would require a considerable amount of work as we would have to rework a lot of the internal systems. Thank you for your support!
  18. The best thing to do is create a screenshot. You can either use a 3rd party program like Fraps or OBS, but using PrtScn on your keyboard and pasting it into Paint will work just fine.
  19. Hello drrn, blck, Welcome to the forums and thanks for joining us! Could you please provide a screenshot of this? Could you also please upload a save file and an output log so I can take a look? You can find the location of those files by clicking on the link in the signature below. Thanks a a bunch!
  20. Hey Necroskowitz! Thanks for clarifying that for me. Turns out we already fixed both of these issues and will be in the next patch! Cheers!
  21. Hey Cyberduke, Looks like your save file has gotten corrupted somehow, there are some strange things happening with Aloth and Durance. We are still investigating the issue on seeing how it happened. We appreciate you being so patient with us.
  22. Thanks for stepping in and giving a full detailed explanation Andrea! I really appreciate the help!
  23. Hey Aurelio, We will be looking into these fixes after 3.0 is launched!
  24. Hey Torm! I wrote up a bug, but its still hasn't been looked at. So, not sure if it is intended or not.
  25. Hey Bellerophon26, I'll send your files over to our programmers and see if they can find anything. However that may take some time since we're super busy with getting TWM: Pt 2 ready for release. I know is not my job, but, you got windows 64 bits, i read around the web, seems Poe have some problems with the memory access for it (cause the 64 bits OS) Between... Im in the same situation (with 32 bits, so seems the problem is the application not the OS), the curious thing is that didn't happen some time ago: after some bugs (about white march) i stop playing, and now, im trying to play again and found this. I feel really bad, cause, actually i was unable to play white march, and I bought it before it was released... I took a look to the logs, seems the game is trying some memory adress that don't exist: Please! can I have an answer on this? the game stills unplayable... Thank you in advance! EDIT: I tried updating video drivers, also, using the beta of POE, but it crashes on start... even worst than before! the same kind of error. Also, checked the web again to get more information and seems that almost everyone is happy with windows10+Poe, seems the issue is not coming from the OS. Hey judgebeo, Pillars of Eternity isn't fully supported by 32bit OS, which is why you are experiencing so many crashes. But there is some good news! There is a work around that will allow you to play the game with no crashes (hopefully). You can change your system settings on your computer to increase RAM used by a single application. However, there are inherent risks involved when changing settings involving your operating system and any attempts to change your system settings will be at your own risk. Obsidian is not liable for any issues that might occur with those settings.
