  1. Bittercut is great and very reliable, but I suspect wounding, annihilating or fast weapons to be superior. Still, these couple of spells from bittercut provide decent AoE damages.
  2. I'm on week end now but I'll send them after. The problem came back several times. Currently my best workaround was to launch the game in offline mode before this bloody Steam is able to connect.
  3. Skill monkey might not be the best idea... I want Rogue to have a decent role in combat. These +2 mechanics they are the only class to receive are enough skillmonkeyness for me. This little +2 is very precious without making rogue necessary. My top #3 wished buff (taking into account the presumed dev difficulty to implement it): #1 Stackable deep wound #2 Cancellable Feign Death #3 30% riposte on miss. And 15% hit to crit Dirty Fighting as a bonus, because it shouldn't be that hard to change... Even if one think rogue are enough powerful, I think these abilities would deserve a buff. I don't like per rest abilities, but with several charges, they are not that bad for rogue's raw power...
  4. The stat system is very good mechanically. The only minor problem might be that Resolve could be buffed a bit. It seems quite easy to dump. Currently, there is a reason why Crown of the faithfull might provide +25 Resolve without being totally overpowered... Sonething like -3% to duration of negative effects (or +3% "negative status recovery speed to avoid very high resolve to be too strong) could be nice.
  5. And what about backer's stronghold adventures ? They are relatively independant from the main story
  6. Note: DoT does not stack. Duration is refreshed You mean you cant's cast Maggots twice on the same target ? Your numbers in 3.01 are in line with my observations.
  7. Yeah death godlike is not good, but I hoped this would be decent way to use their racial talent. Maggot + Death Godlike sounded great lore-wise. Paladins also usually have high MIG and INT by the way But for a whole build centered on Maggots, I think an insect druid build would be a more amusing choice, with level 2 & 3 insect spells as mastery and a kind of specialization with DoT (and max MIG and INT). Maybe a bear druid called "the honey king" or sonething like this But I can't find a synergy with this apart with ranger's pet... (RIP combusting wounds + DoT...)
  8. I know I'm not suppose to ask why, but are item casting time usually similar to spells ? I'm planning to build my fighter with a LOT of casting items. It would sound even better with faster casting. 4x fast vile thorn is already great... especially because you don't sacrifice DPS by using molded legendary durganized bittercut By the way, I'm wondering if a deathgodlike bleak walker with onkill effects and monsterlash dualling bitter cut could be a good maggot build idea. Maggot doing more damages when endurance is low result in a higher probability of getting a kill. Bleak walkers benefit from Spirit of decay and can get both frightened and inspired triumph on kill. I think there are a couple of items with on kill effects (including... a helm... godlike might not be that great...)
  9. The text is really unclear, so I did make a quick test: Basically, it now does 10 raw damages per tick, modified by both Might and % of endurance lost. So with 20 Might and 50% endurance lost, it is 18 raw damages per tick. % of endurance lost is calculated at the moment of the tick, not on initial cast. it ticks on initial hit and every 3s for 20s (modified by Int). Raw damages are actually higher than other insect spells (Swarm does 10 base per tick, and Plague does 8 base per tick... with long duration and crazy AoE). It seems to be a very solid spell now, especially considering insect spell are not of poison type ! It's quite great for Bittercut too PS: Pwgra hurts a lot now...
  10. Well, even if spirits are annoying early games (mostly because they come in great number), and late-game groups with lots banshees are quite strong, I don't find spirit that much annoying. Vessels are meh except fampyr (rarely more than one at a time) and Concelhaut servants. Beast are mostly meh. Seriously, animals rarely worth magic beasts, and they have low crowd control abilities. Only dragons worth something, and that's very late game where you're likely to have either anti-beast chant or armor. Kiths... are quite diverse. But Thaos, Llengrath, fallen moon temple monks and most bounties are kiths. Many hard encounters against them. Anti-kith equipments are rare and worth a lot of enchanting, so I suppose they are supposed to be much more frequent. Mid-game to late-game, a crapload of annoying ennemies are from either wilder or primordial types. Adragans, ogre druid, lagufaeth, vithrack, mushrooms. A lot of them with strong AoE damages or CC effects. Some WM II Bosses like kraken and radiant spore are primordial too. So yes, Boreal Dwarf is really an interesting race now. Side-note: Pwgra deserves a special mention since infestation of maggots has finally be debugged (no pun intended)...
  11. Too bad I can't get pregnant Second thought: Maybe PoE has not exactly the right strory for playing during pregnancy...
  12. I never like mountain sports, but if it is the sport for which you have the highest probability to break a leg, I might consider it now
  13. Well, in the very beginning nothing was immune to nothing. And as far as I can remember, they have been immune. So at least six months. I don't remember this being different.
  14. "You're nothing compared to the brawns of my wizard !" "I was so shy and unresolved that I decided to become a predicator. Yes, a ranged one." "I am so stupid that I love poisons." "My superior intellect is the reason why I like carnage so much." Still a more interesting attribute system that most games. My educated and smart fighter is really happy with it !
  15. Yup, saber nerf didn't exactly helped the rogue. Small weapons, or maybe axes could be the way to go now. Quickswitch + Firearms is probably a good idea to add some spike damages to a rogue build. And sorry, I forgot to add the link with class relative power thread: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/88395-what-are-the-most-powerful-classes-in-303/
  16. Hmmm 18dex... Guess you are aiming for some atk spd / recovery break point later huh? I don't get it. Dex is independant from recovery speed... and it is always a multiplicative factor.
  17. Borrowed instinct does not stack with devotion for the faithful accuracy part. Oh, yes, tactical meld. But mm, I think I prefer being able to cast it right at the beginning of the fight, and tactical meld is probably too much focus for this. With all that Acc, I suppose I won't miss any dragon anyway. The flying one should be immune to ground, which is not the subtype of the fighter's knockown. And fighter even has disciplined barrage and 5 more acc than cipher for even more Accuracy galore. Plus knockdown is a full attack, so you'll get 2 Prone rolls if you dual wield. I think I found my plan against the alpine ^^ I was slightly worried because my party has no druid nor wizard to petrify him. But a phase 1 Dominating the dragon to kill the adds, followed by a phase 2 knocking the dragon with my high acc fighter will do the trick ^^
  18. Paladin with coordinated attack + marking weapon + Devotion for the faithful + blessing or zealous focus + anti beast chant (or anti-beast armor) + Cipher = great fun with dragons I would probably use Puppetmster in this case, just for the fun of having a full-powered dragon on my side. By the way, do you guys know if several paladin with coordinated attack or several marking weapons stack ?
  19. Pretty similar to mine, except for 2 more might, and 2 less dex. I wanted just a little bit more might for damage spells (you get slightly less focus with might than with dex, but you use it more efficiently). Except mine fought from reach with a quatterstaff (and was not my main, she had a party to tank for her). I'm totally in line with your level 1 powers. Level 1 powers are (comparatively) weak, so their casting speed is a very huge factor. It makes them time-economically spammable, and it is exactly what you want. Whisper of Treason 3.0 is especially good for this reason. Antipathetic field is circonstancial but strong when well placed. It remains useful from time to time at high level. Also consider some Power levels have less interesting spells than the number you can pick (level 6 post-mind plague nerf, I'm looking at you. Level 7 too...). So you might pick eyestrike later.
  20. As DAoM doesn't stack with frenzy speed buff, I don't get why one would want to use both.
