  1. A forth weapon set of Hatcher and Mace can further debuff -10 Accuracy / -1AR. I feel that your build would is incomplete without them Rod or one of the AoE Blunderbuss + Sundering Blow is also tempting. About the main topic, I feel that a good martial class needs several good abilities and a couple of gamechanging ones to worth it. I think the gamechanging one for Fighter is unbending. With the right stats it makes your character impervious to damages for a duration. I think it is very complicated to argue that Fighters don't worth multiclassing because of this or that another class is "better". In my opinion, it is far more about personal taste and role in party. Even ranger has its perk and doesn't really need love as long as we are speaking multiclass ones. Pet fits certain playstyle, Driving Flight is basically a total damage multiplier and easy access to Interrupt and "Dispel" could be very convenient. Remember Keldorn ? But I think the OP is at partially right about Single Class Fighters. Even with 2.1 buff, their Tier VIII and IX have some good stuff (especially after 2.1) but they are not trully more cost-efficient than lower ones. This is true for basically all Martial classes (Monks having two ressources are a bit less a problem.). Maybe Unbending + Take the Hit could be efficient. Single Classes desperately need more Ressources. I really think this is not only Fighter's problem. Something like +2 at creation and +1 with Prestige would do the trick. Or maybe Single Class could have more consistent tools (such as Toughened Fury) to regenerate their ressources as their defining Trademark.
  2. Druid shall get more trees. Druid shall be the best class for trees.
  3. -75% conditions reduction (and +25 Deflection) is still good enough I think. Resolve becomes better as one stacks it.
  4. By the way, what happens when a character gets 44 Resolve (-102% negative effects duration) ? Are all negative effects disabled ? I don't know if it's technically possible, but I would be curious abous the actual equation (I'm suspecting some double inversions)
  5. But well, a single distinctive PL VIII passive could be nice to distinguish a bit more Single Class Casters )
  6. I think Martial with Passive and Caster without many Passives is a defining trait for classes. Pure Casters have a lot of active abilities and a lots of cast per encounter. They can't have everything. Furthermore, Casters probably don't need further buff. And Wizard fast self-buff play a bit the role of passive for them. But Baleful version of Salvation of time is a very good idea ^^
  7. I think the ressource problem is mostly a Martial Single Class problem. Empower even makes the gap wider between Single and Multi Class.
  8. My doubt about ranger and twinned shot is the following : Can you really top the ranged single DPS of a Scout with a Single Class Ranger using Twin Shot ? (given that Scout has all other Ranger goodies such as pet, interrupting/disenchanting shots or these long duration binding root). Spamming 1-ressource Full Attacks with Rogue Bonus damages even after the nerf should be hard to beat, even with Arquebus twinned shot. And it is also more sustainable, so...
  9. I still hope to see a couple of Black Jacket builds, possibly not just quickswitching ones. Something like Arquebus / Rod / Morningstar / Estoc just to take advantage of the diversity of modals and weapon properties.
  10. Don't forget about Ranger's/Barbarians with their WW/HoF Just how strong is Melee Ranger Whirlwind ? It adds like 54 raw damages (maybe 63 if it ticks on 0s too) scaling with both INT and MIG over a quite short delay. I've found this build that seems to rely on it : https://www.reddit.com/r/projecteternity/comments/8y9dij/war_dancer_single_ranger_leveling_progression/ It seems to that WW is even superior to Heart of Fury, even if DoT does not seem to stack with itself (so probably not double raw damage with DW). Against single target, Melee ranger can also switch to "I stack accuracy buff" mode and spam its wounding shots with increased accuracy. I suppose pet adds a bit of damages too.
  11. It is most likely powerful but not that fun in my opinion. You basically get more raw power in exchange of versatility. I tend to feel that Black Jacket concept is more fun, especially with weapon modals. With their recent buff, maybe there would be much more Black Jacket builds. Or maybe not because Devoted builds are more simple to design...
  12. Outlander frenzy is longer to activate, costs a talent, lasts less, has higher penalties and its additional bonus don't stack with other spells. Activation time and short duration are the most annoying, because it means that you're only going to save a couple of seconds over the duration, minus activation time which eventually is not much. I prefer saving a talent and going potions for the couple of fights which really require them. Plus cat druid comes with a 1/rest instant speed up. If you prefer another shift, I would consider going the Gambiso armor with 1/Rest DAoM. When shifting, all your items are negated, so items that provide a lasting buff are excellemt for such builds.
  13. Would you consider adding Take the Hit to this build, as 2.1 will decrease its cost to 1 discipline ? Halving party damage received for 10s (around 20 with high Int) could be a strong feat...
  14. Sometimes I suspect that Wael is hiding among the Dev. He was probably responsible for PoE1 attack speed calculation. And MaxQuest is probably the chosen of Wael.
  15. Are you really suggesting that Fighter has an advantage over Rogue for single target DPS ? Come on, that is only 1 strike and it costs a bunch of discipline. I think rogue still have the proper tools.
  16. This stuff should be listed as a bug and fixed. There is no way the old (mostly fixed) derp builds from PoE1 should come back to PoE2.
  17. Also Twin Shot has a bit less contest from Full Attacks as an ultimate DPS ability, which makes Single Class Rangers slightly better.
  18. Is the minus -35% for full attacks additive or multiplicative ? If additive, rogue would barely feels the difference ? Edit : okay, I checked the damage calulation thread on this forum. It would be -55% additive damage in most cases. Rogue are still much better with Dual Wield, also because Strikes still get double roll for applying afflictions. For other classes, Full Attack are mostly damage oriented (FoD, Heart of Fury, Barbaric Blows) and they don't get tons of bonus damages so I guess Dual Wield would be on par with other styles. You might consider Dual Wield for some build (if you REALLY want to apply Sicken with your Bleakwalker) but you may choose other options. It seems that Single Class fighter could look okay now. Take the hit + unbending spamming is basically 50% party damage reduction. Paladin Single Class could still need a bit of work. Upgraded hastening exo is passable for some party build (almost instant +5 Mig and Dex on a damage caster is okayish). Sacred Immolation is still dubious. I wish self damages weren't affected by Mig and PL...
  19. Blunderbuss is also nice to apply special attack effects. Blunderbuss + Sap is an excellent opening move for example, because you get 6x chances to Stun the target, with high probability of getting a crit. For Ranger, the effect is limited, but at least wounding shot's hobbled will get a crit and Stunning shot is pretty much guaranted.
  20. Please stop feeding the troll. Regenerating wilders are annoying enough when you don't feed them.
  21. Barbarian tanking does not seem to require high Deflection, so you don't have to put a lot of point in Res, you can even dump it in favor of Con since barbarian benefits a lot from it.
  22. Could a Single Class Berzeker become a armored tank ? With Thick-Skinned and Hardy inpiration, he would have a great AR. One of the ultimate shout buff engagements and inflict the longest Dazed of the game, for an equivalent +6/+7 AR increase. With Barbaric retaliations, huge HP pool and No Recovery on kill (great with the heaviest armors), it could provide a good level of sustainability along with Barbarian DPS.
