Might & Magic X Teased by Ubisoft, To Be Revealed at PAX East
Yeah, everything is really easy now and that's part of the reason I want to try something a little different like an all hybrid party

Might & Magic X Teased by Ubisoft, To Be Revealed at PAX East
My first party defender - fairly useless early on but solid later ranger - bow is fairly weak throughout but her daggers were great freemage - carried my team in the beginning but not as much when enemies started resisting a lot more barbarian - started out almost as bad as my defender but now at 28 he does the most consistent damage

I'm considering a new run even though I haven't finished the game Trying to decide what I want my new party to be, probably more magic heavy this time around

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
RPG elements have been creeping into other genres for a while now. For instance, in my basketball game I can decide what I want to say in post game press conference, negotiate my contract, talk to the GM, change and upgrade my outfit, earn points to upgrade my stats, etc I don't know if it exposing players of Madden and CoD to those elements makes them any more likely to buy "real" RPGs (whatever that means) but it does make me wonder

Level cap and pacing
I haven't really been following this too closely but is it a hard cap? If they are still doing objective based XP instead of kill and quest XP maybe the critical path plus the most obvious side quests brings you to around 11 or 12 but a completionist may be able to get a level or two more

What you did today
Work mostly Was reading about how the NYPD is going after the drug dealers who sold Phillip Seymour Hoffman heroin and can't think of another time something like this has happened. Maybe they always investigate overdoses and go after the drug dealers and we just don't hear about it but I'm thinking this is fairly unique

Why no new DnD video games? (no MMO)
I thought some of the changes they made when they went to 4th edition were to make it more vidya game friendly I don't have any reference for that though

What you did today
I was playing SWTOR with the missus last night and she makes an offhand comment about being surprised how many other women also play the game. Interest piqued, I asked her what made her think that a lot of women play to which she responded that I just needed to look around and see all the female characters. I literally fell out of my chair laughing She can understand that a woman "may" play a male character either to hide or to fit in but still thinks it's weird but the concept of a man masquerading as a woman....
