RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - CON SEASON
WoW always seems like a game I would like on paper but whenever I play it it never holds my interest. This newest xpack is the first that I didn't buy and a spend a day or two trying to get into before dropping it until the next expansion. LOTRO progression server is supposed to kick off on the 8th. I think I'm going to make a High Elf Runekeeper, Loremaster, Warden, or (and most likely) all 3.

Pathfinder Kingmaker is bigger then Deadfire
What does Deadfire spell selection have to do with Kingmaker spell selection? It's a completely different rule set. The last 3.5ish game I played was NWN2 and they had more spells and spells from every school to pick from. I hoped a newer game would be more comprehensive but hope is the first step on the road to disappointment. It's also not just one class it's the arcane spell list shared by all wizards and sorcs. Dunno about the magus list but they don't get high level spells anyway so it doesn't matter. If you don't agree with my criticism then that's fine but to me 12 spells and not covering some schools is underwhelming

12 spells isn't a lot and there are no evocation spells Stombolts is killing it at level 8 so I was excited for the level 9 spells. Power word kill isn't that useful by the time you get it because most enemies have too much health and wail of the banshee hits everyone. Note: I don't buff or summon. That's not fun for me, I nuke or die trying.

Pathfinder Kingmaker is bigger then Deadfire
I've had a few encounters where the person speaking didn't know their own name. So instead of Majestic: "I breaked inside a little every time, really. Also, my name is Majestic" I get Dark Helmet's father’s brother’s nephew’s cousin’s former roommate: "I breaked inside a little every time, really. Also, my name is Majestic"

My sorceror just doesn't have that many level 9 spells to choose from and that's all I meant. The game itself has been one of my favorites even though it's probably the buggiest game I've ever played not called Pool of Radiance. Maybe a tie, I haven't tried uninstalling it yet.

Pathfinder Kingmaker is bigger then Deadfire
Yikes, the last part of the game was super buggy for me but I just tried to push through since I was so close to the end. Played around with different endings and those also seemed bugged most of the time. I think I'll shelf this until some DLC comes out then I can start again fresh.

Mods don't matter for achievements or at least not on GOG PS Ran into a bug where everyone is turning hostile in Pitax

They have been caught doing some deceptive editing in the past but here it seems more or less true though... Link PS not that I expect it will matter to most people. They will either be frothing at the mouth or unconcerned depending on which way they were already leaning

Cinéma vérité - and all other types
I really need to watch Blazing Saddles again. It used to be one of my favorites When I first read Perfect Blue I thought you were talking about the Paul Walker and Jessica Alba film Into the Blue. Your review of the movie made me scratch my head for a second until my brain returned

My biggest gripes about that quest so far are... I hear the rest of it isn't so great either

Pathfinder Kingmaker is bigger then Deadfire
I did slightly exaggerate how useless they are with this being the internet and all. I do often open combat with a fireball but once the melee commences. Maybe I can dip a companion into that sub class in a future playthrough Today, I hit the most annoying quest I've come across maybe ever (again with the hyperbole). It's the one with the Hellknights and I'm either given terrible choices or choices that don't matter.

The goal is to get to the border and request asylum. Here's an article on the process from earlier this year https://www.pri.org/stories/2018-05-01/how-does-seeking-asylum-work-us-border

AoE spells are my least used as even a controlled fireball is just too risky most of the time and you can forget all the burst spells. My sorcerer uses single target and foe jumping spells five nines percent of the time.

Does anyone use RogueTech mod?
