The differences aren't never huge of course - they vary depending on buffs/enemies. You can always use the console to dupe them and try them first. Yes, the weapons I listed are the best just from a dps point of view. In the case of the cypher that dps doesn't mean also the best focus generator because of the wounds. That was the purpose of this thread, to share your point of view, because the best dps doesn't mean always the best weapon.

Speaking of which, the description on this item is a bit convoluted. What does 25% of damage range mean exactly? It does nothing at all for the moment - it's on the bug list. But it's suposed to give you an aura which gives allies in range 25% dmg bonus, immunity to paralyze, etc... However it's not clear if it affects also the user of the gloves...

The reason is the wounding enchantment. Let's take a simplistic example: Sabre does 16dmg (base) + 4dmg (lash) = 20dmg every 3s (2s if DW) Dagger does 11dmg (base) + 2.8dmg (lash) + 3.4dmg (wound) = 17.2dmg every 2s (1.4s if DW) The dagger does nearly the same damage as the sabre while swinging faster and being less affected by DR. Same with Persistence...

Since the game is out for some time now and all items have been found, I think it would be interesting to discuss what items do you think are worth enchanting to legendary... Here are my choices: 1. shield - Little Savior - really no brainer here (if your main is a paladin the Worn Buckler works too and Eder keeps the superb Little Savior) 2. 1h weapon - Drawn in Spring - might not look like one, but it's another no brainer (if you look for pure dps forget sabres/axes and duplicate Drawn in Spring once it is legendary/durgan enchanted) 3. ranged weapon - Persistence - no brainer again... 4. 2h weapon - Tidefall wins even if we have more worthy candidates here - wounding and drain benefit the most from higher damage 5. armor - here I think it's hard to pick one - most unique armors have their slots wasted on useless enchantments and it really depends on the class you play; the most obvious are plate for tanks and robes for ranged dps; for melee dps it really depends on your play style...

I'm not sure Cloudpiercer is 2nd. If you attack someone from your party you won't enter in combat mode and Cloudpiercer will be able to proc multiple times, however in combat mode it can proc 1/encounter. Don't know if it happened in your test but a single proc can make a big difference. PS. Sabra Marie doesn't have the highest DPS, but when you confuse someone their dps will add to yours... Right now it's slightly less powerful than before 3.0 because it has a check vs Will and you won't be able to confuse every monster as easily as before.

Watch some paladin solo videos to see their equipment/talents/tactics. You don't have Faith and Devotion but at lv16 and with some of the new items you should be able to tank at least the Adra/Alpine dragons long enough to kill them. PS. Bosses not immune to stun will be rather easy once you have Sap, but you need to max your int...

There are 2 new items (Frythr's Plated Graves and Cloak of Comfort) giving +3DR which doesn't stack with your armor DR. If it is indeed intended what's the point of giving this stat to these items? If they could be found during ch.1 maybe it would make sense because you don't have access to many enchantments. However these items come pretty late in ch.2 when everyone has exceptional armor, making this stats completely useless...

Hmm, you never heard about discounts then. Of course displayed prices in shops are the same for everyone, but if you talk directly to the manager he might agree to sell you for a better price if you're a good client or if you buy a large quantity.
