In episode 3 anakin is a DS protagonist kind of... But anyway, the fact is that there needs to be LS heroes for the republic. the republic keeps getting their butts kicked, and the jedi council keeps getting destroyed. There are so many DS force-users running arond that it is ridiculous. Revan and the Exile need to be LS to even out the odds. The canon continuity in this series should always make the PC lightside, otherwise you are no different than the million other DS things in the Kotor universe. In the first two games the way you are different as a DS player is, "oh, well, you are all sith, but i won't join you or even try to rule you. i will destroy you instead and be a one-man army that pwns the whole galaxy." that is lame. and it happened in both games. solidifying who the exile and revan are and what they look like would make people mad for a bit, but they'd get used to it since they have a new PC to twist into whoever they want. to have a sane story i think some solidification needs to happen.

you know, there is a point when it explicitly becomes spam, and it is at that point that the Big Green or cohorts take action...

i voted redheads this time. like Oerwinde said before, when they are hot, they are REALLY hot. and the idea of blondes in general gets annoying after a while. Edit: but come to think of it, i have probably been infatuated with more brunettes than any of the other options, since they are more numerous and can be just as good-looking... all girls are pretty in their own way actually ( that was corny, i didn't just say that...)

The reason I play KOTOR and not Jedi Knight is because of the fact I don't want to have to rely on my reflexes to get through an area. The furthest I'll go in terms of "action-y" combat in a RPG is what Bioware did with Jade Empire. And that's only if it's insisted that more action-related combat is a must. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree with SS and GoA.

So i believe the last thread left off talking about who the Playable Character (PC) would be. Should it be a new person? Or should it be Revan or Exile. also, should Revan and Exile's genders and alignments be solidified (i.e. revan LS male, exile LS female) I personally like the latter idea, as it would create for more romantic dynamics between Revan, Exile, Bastila, Atton/Disciple. And that is always more fun. I don't see a specific problem with having all the old NPC's back, other than that we know about their story a bunch already. However, they all have room for personality improvement, and combining Revan's crew with Exile's could be interesting If there is to be a new PC, maybe have it be a younger jedi, perhaps forged during the mandalorian wars. This character would maybe start off trying to help Visas (and Jolee? some people wanted him to do that...) build up a new jedi council. Now, i could easily go on with stupid ideas like the one in the previous paragraph, but: 1. if OE is indeed going to be the developer, they will not care about anything any of us suggest here unless they are crazy. 2. There is already a cornucopia of ideas such as the one i suggested, and i doubt mine is any good, just like the rest. 3. listening to mediocre ideas is rather annoying to me, and i'd imagine it is the same for everyone else. (didn't one of the regulars read through all the K3 suggestion threads? that earns some accolades) anyway i am just looking at what we were talking about before and the story possibilities therein. fixed...

It certainly sounds cool. I can imagine a few solutions, i don't know anything about programming, but it seems like they are simple enough. 1. have the timestop in a smaller vicinity. say, 20 in-game meters. 2. when an object collides with that area, it is affected by the timestop. you run next to the battle when the guy uses timestop, that is your fault. you shoot something at the guys who are just sitting there, your projectile is affected by the spell. 3. have a counter-spell? you say its a level 9 spell, maybe have the counter at 10 or 11? 4. have it cost more to the player using it? just ideas. shoot me down now.

Iriqois Pliskin (MGS2)- if you ever played the game, you would know what i am talking about. 4. Mr. X (MGS2)- super-sveet bullet blocking neo-ninja with sveet sword. she's hot too. and russian. 5. Vivi (FF9)- an internally-conflicted blackmage. 6. Jolee (K1)- He is funny, old, and dark-skinned. perfect combo. 7. i can't think of any more

True. and looking at the time constraints from lucasarts, i am sure Obsidian was frustrated about the fact that they couldn't finish. They could've made a game better than the first

I voted Visas (SURPRISE!!) She is the "coolest" character. and presently, 20% of the 100 people who voted think so. She is not annoying like the other characters. no whiny voice at all. her quiet disposition makes her more mysterious, and therefore, cooler. The next 'coolest' would be the Darth Revan vision. Exile: Who the heck are you!? Darth Revan: *silence and penetrating glare* Exile: Are you Revan!? Answer me!!! Darth Revan: *draws lightsabers and attacks* so cool.
