Okay, so i am going to process what has been said so far and then i will combine like ideas and present that. then we'll see what looks good. mind you, the ideas will be a sentence or two... or i plan that. EDIT: actually this was a horrible idea. maybe i should just poll the several different facets of the complete ideas? for example, revan and exile get killed to start off K3; revan and/or exile can be in your party; Revan and/or Exile are NPC's that you merely deal with or are instructed by, but not in your party; main conflict is with the "true threat"; main conflict is with DS Revan and DS Exile (who have become part of or all of the true threat); stuff like that. this'll just be a series of polls i guess. DOUBLE EDIT: dangit, no this won't work at all. forget i tried anything guys. i am a failure.

exactly. should that be the premise? at least we should have the new council out of the exiles jedified buddies, but people like Hades might want a PC that is unrelated to the jedi at first, neh? edit: like, i gtg now, but if you guys think of some basic storylines i can copy and paste them together and we can look at what we like best? yeah, since this is same old same old and we havent made progress as a collective group of people thinking of ideas for K3. i am not saying this will be the game, but like i said before, i want our ideas to be cohesive. and it'd be cool if we could vote on stuff to see what storylines people like better...

Can we all collectively get a cohesive idea for a story together? Like, lets actually go about together thinking of a story, since story ideas usually come from one person pooping their ideas and thats the end. How about it? i might organize them. and i might have votes on some of the controversial ideas. eh?

1. the sidekick you meet in the beginning was annoying, that is, he needed to die as soon as i could kill him. the overall graphics needed some major polishing. i would've rather watched my dog taking a dump all day. cheesy dialogue 2. there were three lightsaber options, and each lightsaber had a lot of combos fighting was fun. well, you did it the whole time, so it had better be... assigning force powers to certain buttons the assortment of force powers was plentiful and they were fun to use. 3. i would say, "why!?!?"

actually, it was created by Pixies and he names it "bizarro launch", not simply "darth launch", which leads me to infer that darth launch is different looking than bizarro launch, since bizarro launch is obviously based on the actual launch. but we are talking avatars here, so its really not what she looks like.

In episode 3 anakin is a DS protagonist kind of... But anyway, the fact is that there needs to be LS heroes for the republic. the republic keeps getting their butts kicked, and the jedi council keeps getting destroyed. There are so many DS force-users running arond that it is ridiculous. Revan and the Exile need to be LS to even out the odds. The canon continuity in this series should always make the PC lightside, otherwise you are no different than the million other DS things in the Kotor universe. In the first two games the way you are different as a DS player is, "oh, well, you are all sith, but i won't join you or even try to rule you. i will destroy you instead and be a one-man army that pwns the whole galaxy." that is lame. and it happened in both games. solidifying who the exile and revan are and what they look like would make people mad for a bit, but they'd get used to it since they have a new PC to twist into whoever they want. to have a sane story i think some solidification needs to happen.

you know, there is a point when it explicitly becomes spam, and it is at that point that the Big Green or cohorts take action...

i voted redheads this time. like Oerwinde said before, when they are hot, they are REALLY hot. and the idea of blondes in general gets annoying after a while. Edit: but come to think of it, i have probably been infatuated with more brunettes than any of the other options, since they are more numerous and can be just as good-looking... all girls are pretty in their own way actually ( that was corny, i didn't just say that...)

that would make you and me happy Hades, but i don't know how well that would do for money. Agreed. The reason I play KOTOR and not Jedi Knight is because of the fact I don't want to have to rely on my reflexes to get through an area. The furthest I'll go in terms of "action-y" combat in a RPG is what Bioware did with Jade Empire. And that's only if it's insisted that more action-related combat is a must. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree with SS and GoA.

So i believe the last thread left off talking about who the Playable Character (PC) would be. Should it be a new person? Or should it be Revan or Exile. also, should Revan and Exile's genders and alignments be solidified (i.e. revan LS male, exile LS female) I personally like the latter idea, as it would create for more romantic dynamics between Revan, Exile, Bastila, Atton/Disciple. And that is always more fun. I don't see a specific problem with having all the old NPC's back, other than that we know about their story a bunch already. However, they all have room for personality improvement, and combining Revan's crew with Exile's could be interesting If there is to be a new PC, maybe have it be a younger jedi, perhaps forged during the mandalorian wars. This character would maybe start off trying to help Visas (and Jolee? some people wanted him to do that...) build up a new jedi council. Now, i could easily go on with stupid ideas like the one in the previous paragraph, but: 1. if OE is indeed going to be the developer, they will not care about anything any of us suggest here unless they are crazy. 2. There is already a cornucopia of ideas such as the one i suggested, and i doubt mine is any good, just like the rest. 3. listening to mediocre ideas is rather annoying to me, and i'd imagine it is the same for everyone else. (didn't one of the regulars read through all the K3 suggestion threads? that earns some accolades) anyway i am just looking at what we were talking about before and the story possibilities therein. fixed...
