  1. alright Pixies, i am here.... ? you stopped?! NOOOOO!!!
  2. But looking back, it makes me sad that the game was so unfinished. it could've been a lot better with some tweaks to the romance plot.
  3. Since nobody else posted it, here is the link to where the whole chat's logged. although, it looks like some dev's stayed around afterward and answered some questions when all the people were allowed to talk. So there is more than what is officially posted. You can read that stuff in the link where it says "raw log". It is tougher to read, but you can sort out stuff with the "find" option if you have it on notepad. Edit: actually you don't need to go to the raw log since they finally got to editing the post-chat Q&A and put a link to it... unless you want your eyes to hurt.
  4. H4X0R TEH CHATZ!!!!1!!!11@ SOY BOMB! (w00t)

the fact that it kept me engaged was a tribute to the author's creativity. there were a lot of new ideas he inserted into Shadow that weren't in Game. I liked the fact that Bean analyzes everything so much. its a sveet book
  6. I agree, and I liked the fact that there were a few surprises in it. I had low expectations because the reviews trashed it, but it was better than I thought it would be. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I recently saw the re-make and wasn't dissapointed. We are talking about the re-make right? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yep, the re-make. it wasn't as bad as the reviews said it was, but it wasn't the best movie. i got what i wanted though: guns and shooting and alamo
  7. that just sounds wrong man I like the lack of information released since it makes the game unspoiled when i play through it. having just snippets of info gets me excited, but the devs don't even need to say much to do that. for example, take the NWN2 News website. i like looking at that just to see the interviews and that kind of thing where only a little is divulged, but it is still fun to hear about. like, hearing about the toolset and prestige classes
  8. Wow, that is actually a good idea Have more than sports, but still have teh sportz. role playing a life based around the sports sounds fun. Lots of decisions you can make, the bar brawl sounds cool (you can choose to fight or not). i would consider getting a game like that. there would have to be a story apart from the sports obviously, but it would revolve around that.
  9. No, I wouldn't. If any of my bosses read this and thought I was, I'd probably resign because I would feel guilty. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> just remember: Big Brother is watching!
  10. Okay, so what would be the most effective way i would take to contact Atari regarding my desire for a NWN2 port to the 360? (or for all next-gen consoles, but for me the 360 at least). Like, who should i e-mail to and what should i say? i never thought i'd say this, but, i need your guys' help.
  11. games i play like the one you rejected last night? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which one was this? There are many on my list. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You know, the one with the Bastlia costume...
  12. i think being around here and talking to the Obsidian forum community is fun in and of itself for me. i don't know about their games other than K2. if another company gets the contract for K3, then i guess the Obsidian forum mods would be polite and shut the threads down. or they can take BIO's approach and leech all the possible buyers from the next developer claiming that the old community needs to get acquainted with the new game in the old atmosphere
  13. games i play like the one you rejected last night?
  14. Gab's open mind is like a fortress with its gates securely barred and guarded by Arnold clones.
  15. Self pwnt. No more off-topic! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lol QFT, FF8 was utter wank <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't know about FF8, but i enjoyed FF9 wait, i am on topic right?
  16. Yeah, i don't want a port immediately when the pc release comes out, but something like what happened with Bungie giving the reins of Halo to Gearbox Software in order to put it on PC. I just want the opposite to happen with NWN2; I just want a port from PC to the 360. Some people liked Morrowind for xbox, including my brother, so i know that putting a pc game on a console can't totally ruin a game. It would be money-wise right? they'd have one buyer for sure (obviously i am not enough, but still...) now who am i supposed to spam and complain to concerning this? i think it was, Atari, right?
  17. In essence they have added a lot of role-playing elements, however, most people are rigid about the rpg genre in that they believe an rpg must have DnD-type algebraic algorithms for the fighting (or in this case, game-playing). the sports games do have stats and whatnot, but that doesn't placate the hard-core rpg fan-base's perceptions of what an rpg is. lots of games can be argued to be "role-playing", but they aren't all called rpg's, even though you do "play the role" of a certain character or person. So in the end it comes down to teh numbers
  18. That part of the game was basically a fighter like DOA. It had some really unique, fun ideas. the parries, the blocks, the attacks, all really cool. the rest of revenge of the sith game lacked though, and there were some things they could've done to make the fighting better, but oh well. however, Kotor3 is probably going to be a cRPG, and i wouldn't want to see them spend time on making a fighter game when they could spend time making the rest of it
  19. no Gabs, that's a common misconception which occurs because the volume is not turned up on the game and the font size gets distorted. it is Bastlia for sure...
  20. Don't worry about taking up time, if we are here, then we obviously have time to be taken up. As for your post, i also enjoy romance in crpg's, however, Kotor2 doesn't fully deliver on this. It does somewhat, but in the end, like battlecookie said, it isn't "fullfilling". And even though Visas is the least developed love-interest, she's still my favourite ...
  21. because everyone knows that you should be able to hate the main character and not just like them
  22. he can't, he's a VIP. as for the port that doesn't exist: :'(
  23. I guess i agree with Sawyer on this one, "booth babes detract from what should be the focus of the event." They also give video games a false image to associate them with, so state legislatures and the like frown upon scantily clad women at E3 and therefore they frown upon video-games too. I don't want games to be looked at like that. They are more than that. But whatever
  24. If you have ever seen xbox live, then you would see that it isn't quite as limited as you think. As for the controller, i am willing to purchase a cheap usb keyboard. I guess since i am getting a new rig in a year or so that buying a base video card for just the game would work, thanks Diamond.
