  1. Visas is better anyway HM can only become a guardian a while after she is a soldier, whereas Visas starts off as the best class in the game: a sentinel. Not that you need more than one superpowered jedi, but you can clear a room full of many enemies in one round with your Exile and Visas using force lightning in tandem. how romantic Come to think of it, after a while, using a third party member for me just got in the way. they wouldn't help much and just got in the way.
  2. But his was cooler though than the violet you get in the game. his was like, purplish pink. really sveet looking
  3. primary choice: I) Start as the Exile searching for Revan and when you find him/her, have them both as main characters with two different parties and ships secondary choice: K) Give Revan and the Exile major roles, but not be the main character/s or party member thirdundary (haha, thats not a word) choice: F) Both need to make appearences but should not be the main character or a party member Good choices you wrote, i think. I say (I) as my primary choice since it would be cool to have Female exile search for Male Revan and have a possible romance within that. the other two have to do with the fact that it seems conventional to use a new main character in a new rpg.
  4. Well, considering that Gabs is actually your mom, yes, it is wrong. but Freud thinks it's perfectly natural.

Well, i personally think it is time this thread was sent to the annals of the sandbox.
  6. but... bible study class sounds good to me... And thanks for the critiques you guys gave my report. But why does it look like TADF is taking over TOMBS?
  7. Darque, that was my character but the Sith Bunnie was cute
  8. The subject of this T.O.M.B.S. report is "the departure of EnderAndrew from the Obsidian Entertainment Forums" {author's note: this is my first T.O.M.B.S. report. i would appreciate it if you would inform me of my mistakes so i can change them in the future.} Report Statistics (lowest 0 - 5 highest): reporter's rookiness=5 longwindedness=3.5 reporter's infatuation with the character of DL=5 informative=3.5 annoying for reader to click on the numerous ill-formatted links=4 reporter's knowledge of the subject prior to research=1 reporter's knowledge of subject subsequent to research=4 (there are some cloudy spots for me still) Okay, this report basically consists of posts i've found that illuminate the ordeal to someone who had never heard about it. For those of you that don't know, EnderAndrew has always been a big part of the forum until a few months ago. He headed many a PnP rpg and debated intelligently and tirelessly on certain subjects. sometimes though, he would let his opponent's arguments or flames get the best of him. sadly, i believe this led to his self-inflicted downfall on the forums here. Authority's take on the episode- (last post) I rather respect that ender stood up for his convictions. But i personally disagree that the posts were racist. here is SS's explanation quoted by Wookiecookie which i agree with (thx to battlecookie we have a bunch of history that otherwise would have been deleted with the other threads): (9th post from top) Eldar on Christianity cites Ender- here Notice that Eldar, though he likes Ender, doesn't agree with the way Ender left. i, and i'm sure most everyone, is willing to accept him should he choose to come back. In the play Antigone (said Ant- ig- on- ee), the two sons of the king get into a war and both die. the king decides to honour the favoured son (ha, i'm american but i can still use the proper British spelling ) but to arbitrarily leave his unfavoured son to be carrion for the vultures. Antigone, the king's daughter, secretly goes to give honour to her disliked brother. when the king finds out that somebody did that, he decrees that the offender be killed. Obviously, he finds out it is Antigone but is too stubborn to change his law. However, Antigone's lover tries to persuade the king against being stiff-necked, since no one would fault him for realising that he made a wrong decision and then would be able to make amends. but the king would not have it, since he didn't want his word to be taken lightly, i.e. he didn't want to be wishy-washy. i am going to have to agree with Antigone's lover on this one, Ender, your decision to leave "the way you did" probably wasn't the best course of action. don't be too stubborn to miss out of coming back here with all of us wonderful people , DL included Battlecookie reveals a complaint PM from Ender under his own freedom of information act. (last post on page) Judge Hades has some truth in this next post, but he doesn't forget to add his signature personal flaming. hades basically exterminated any chance that Ender may have listened to him by doing that. (sixth post from bottom) 4th post from top, Schmarth gives his take on the event: here. i think i agree, schmarth. the mods said that they are just enforcing the rules, so Ender changed his resentment from the mods to the OE forums as a whole. he says in his sig that he won't participate in a forum that facilitates racism. racism? very arguable. worth leaving over? hardly. 8th post from bottom, Julianw sums up everyone else's criticisms of Ender's own criticisms: here. i finish with a post from our very own Darkside, who simply wants Ender to come back and return to his former self of logic and respectability: (second post) does leaving the forum prove your point, ender? not really. does it remove some sympathy we may have given to your case? yes; you have forsaken us Ender, and it hurts.
  9. hmm, i see. well, you edited your post, while my com sucks0rz and i cannot delete mine.
  10. stop dreaming kirottu.
  11. both. this forum has a lot of lunatics, and you are one of them.
  12. indeed, but it may have to do that he comes from "the loins of Battlecookie"
  13. B, so we can meet the one female police officer who tries tro work amongst the crazy male ones. you know, the girl from the part where everyone got mad at you for being sexist?
  14. Pixies, that was lame. your girlfriend is weaksauce. *dreams* hmm, my perfect girlfriend would eventually end up as my wife i am guessing. since she would be perfect, a girl, and a friend, all qualities which i think would make an ideal marriage. I'd have to be confident that she believes Jesus is her Saviour, since marrying a non-christian would cause me to make compromises in my spiritual life, and also, i would not be encouraged in the God part of my life (even if she did encourage me that way, i wouldn't have fellowship with her the way that i would with a fellow christian as a wife). The most important aspect of her personality would have to be her kindness. I just think that is really important, and it would make the arguments easier for us. Ideally, she would be beautiful in appearance, but if i just love her for her personality then it shouldn't matter what she looks like (the importance of appearances only lasts so long in a marriage. since it will be long-term, it shouldn't depend on something that won't last long.) but God made women attractive for a reason, so i won't totally ignore the preference i have. i am just saying, as long as she isn't butt-ugly (no offense to you, Gabs " ), then i don't mind much. /post that nobody cares about
  15. um, yeah. Mothy? sorry to break it to you, but she isn't hot. she looks like she has a hangover of the millenium and boils that are egyptian-plague caliber. @Gabs: now, if she had red hair...
  16. Too bad she didn't have red hair, then she'd be really hot
  17. Virtual Blank gives you +20 virtual TOMBS points for your successful conversion of "the Freedom of Speech thread" to "a religion thread".
  18. It's okay, put it out of our misery. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yes, this thread has forgotten its mortality. punish it.
  19. excuse me, did you say something? as for the poll, Bastila of course but if there was a Visas in K1 and you had her in the poll, then that would be my vote. ...
  20. (but it doesn't make a difference if virtual Blank is generous with his points or not, since the points virtual Blank gives do not count in reality, right?)
  21. Thanks, Steve. Also, the quotes from Deuteronomy 13 were addressed directly to the Israelites. God was trying to preserve His people's sanctity, as you can see from the reasoning in verse 11. very similar to modern-day corporate punishment. and that quote from Deut. 17 was very paraphrased. if you read it you see, again, the reasoning behind the punishment. It sounds harsh, but an Israelite (note: not a person from another nation. look at verse 2) who worshipped another god in their time was treated the same way we treat murderers: they get a death sentence. but in that passage you see that they are told to investigate thouroughly, and that there must be at least 2 witnesses to the idolatry. i'll just post the passage really small like i did before, so you can copy+paste and it'll be big again (w00t)... Deuteronomy 17:2-7 (New American Standard Bible) 2"If there is found in your midst, in any of your towns, which the LORD your God is giving you, a man or a woman who does what is evil in the sight of the LORD your God, by transgressing His covenant, 3and has gone and served other gods and worshiped them, or the sun or the moon or any of the heavenly host, which I have not commanded, 4and if it is told you and you have heard of it, then you shall inquire thoroughly. Behold, if it is true and the thing certain that this detestable thing has been done in Israel, 5then you shall bring out that man or that woman who has done this evil deed to your gates, that is, the man or the woman, and you shall stone them to death. 6"On the evidence of two witnesses or three witnesses, he who is to die shall be put to death; he shall not be put to death on the evidence of one witness. 7"The hand of the witnesses shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.
  22. Yes. Have you seen the stuff those guys can do with those spray cans? There's some beautiful stuff out there...and to reiterate a not so sharp point...Graffiti is much more of an art than a lot of what's been called art in the past ever was. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i agree, but some graffiti is just "tagging", where it is really not artistic at all, but rather printing a name on a wall with one color of spray paint. but i don't think one should vandalize stuff just because it can be artistic. why not do it on a canvas instead? or in a way that it is not illegal? it's dissappointing that a lot of graffiti is done illegally. but again, i think most graffiti is art.
  23. i'm not sure what i think about that... Edit: my mind is still boggled about this, and whole minute has passed . i think pixies deserves +1 TOMBS point (simulatory according to Meta).
  24. *looks around* hmm, it looks like nobody else said it, so i will: that was stupid.
  25. i didn't read through the thread. i'm feeling noobish tonight. anyway, all i have to say about this is that video games can be artistic, just like writing or the cinema can. not all writing is artistic, such as instruction manuals. but some writing is, like poetry. i believe the same goes for video-games. if somebody already said this, i apologise, but you aren't the first to think of it either...
