  1. +20 TOMBS points for superb use of sarcasm to prove your point.
  2. jeez, then why did i replay Kotor 1 & 2 thrice each? There is always more stuff that one has not experienced yet. You can play good, you can play evil, you can play male, you can play female, and variations of those. These things change the Role-playing atmosphere you place yourself in, and causes the game to be different. At least, that works for me in general for any decent Crpgs. Maybe you need an imagination? Agreed. Really, so long as it's satisfying and a damned fine example of a game, why's 20 hours so short? If there's extensive replay value, which there should be, judging by what's already been said by the devs (I know...but I still trust them.), then that 20 hr game turns into 40+. I also agree with you both. Especially Wolf's last sentence. If anybody is like me, then they meticulously try and accomplish every quest the first time through... and if they are like me once more, the second time through they do it again and find new stuff. Hmm, and like Eldar, I am a single player person. 56k wouldn't cut it for MP.
  3. I agree, look at the context. He states that one will have 20 hrs. of play for sure. Then he states that only some will have more than that. If both those statements are true, then everyone will finish in exactly 20 hrs. and only a few will take longer. That's way to close for the styles people play. Looks to me like a mistake.
  4. Alrighty, I guess that means we meet next week? But anyway, i read the transcript and laughed a lot. It's fine that Horace goes along with the group, but Errol is scary.
  5. Okay, start your revolution, I'll be right behind you. Happy is a Yuppie Word-- Switchfoot
  6. You claim that you know society frowns upon cursing, and then you say that it shouldn't. That is according to you. I say that I should get a million dollars. That is according to me. People won't change because you say they should. If people won't change, then it is pointless to try and change them, and complaining won't change them either. Therefore, the only realistic option that will change anything, is for you to "get over it". Society is stiff-necked, get along with it or get shunned by it, but either way, you need it. And that is not a false dilemma, those are the options. If you think of another option, tell me. Get along with it some of the time and get shunned by it some of the time? Go ahead, but be aware that one accumulates a reputation. On-Topic: Mia-- Chevelle
  7. Call of Duty dissappointed me greatly. Fortunately, i borrowed the game from a friend and didn't buy it. It is obvious to me that the first line of games were rushed. For the most part, they look ugly for being next-gen. And now Microsoft is attempting to add external HD-DVD drives to their self-antiquated system. To come out so early was wrong. Bad move Microsoft, bad move. *goes and plays Oblivion and DOA4*
  8. Ah, but yet, here you are again. A nonchalant facade will give you no peace if you try to move on without Kotor 3.
  9. er, sorry, sometimes my hands wander. But anyway, I am ready for today's session.
  10. That is perfect foes me. I will be there if God is willing. Which reminds me of our Bible passage of today:
  11. Eldar- I'd appreciate that, what time specifically would it start?
  12. Alright, guys, let's start... oh... nvm...
  13. Sorry guys, i apologize immensely, and it is really hard for me to just sit here and wait... i hate 56k. I am seriously considering shelling out the dough for at least DSL. DDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!
  14. Go on without me, i have to download all the junk
  15. don't rub it in... i think i will cry :tears:
  16. This reminds me, I always enjoy hearing the rants of avid microwave-hating people. Our bodies will die in 60 years or so, and the last two would be worthless anyway, just sitting there like an old fart waiting to die. Anyway, my dog eats plastic and he is just fine... well, apart from the mental issues he came with.
  17. ha, I could've truthfully posted that. We are like... TWINS! (w00t)
  18. Well, one cannot truthfully deny that I tried to help this thread
  19. Tis probably true that Sony will take a hit for each system they make for large price and sell for a reasonable price, but they are putting faith in the games yet to be sold for the system. Also, starting with strong base specifications will give the PS3 staying power, that is, the 360 may start to look drabby in a couple years, whereas the PS3 will support Blu-ray and all that jazz inherently.
  20. Ha, I thought you'd like it.
  21. Here is a very informative (or so I thought) article on the PS3. Enjoy: Linux... interesting, eh Hades?
