  1. Turns out all those Boston and MIT (the Institute) rumors from a couple of years ago were true. Cool.
  2. I received the achievements for completing the middle and the last five levels, but haven't received the one for the first five levels. How is this possible?
  3. One of the spirits on level 13 mentions that Od Nua was slain and that this followers have shown their true colors afterwards. However, the spirit later mentions that Durious (I think that's how the name was spelled), was looking for a way to breach the door to the inner chamber by infusing the souls of the mob who have pledged to defeat Od Nua into it, thereby granting the mob access to Od Nua. So... how was Od Nua slain by the mob before the door was breached? Furthermore, his Animat guardians were still "alive" in the inner chamber, meaning that the mob never got past them. Who killed him? How did the end up encased in adra? There were dozens of "vacant" Animat armor pieces strewn across the ground on level 14, meaning that a battle had been raging raging there, but who took part in the fighting considering the mob never got past the Animat guards on level 13?
  4. Krivi gives you a Velune as a reward for finding the mad Vithrack, but the item doesn't count as a gem (it has a weird icon, it gets placed in the misc. section of the stash and can't be used for crafting).
  5. Look at my starting accuracy value... ... I cast a couple of spells outside of combat... ... and look at my accuracy now... Basically, every time you cast a spell outside of combat, the accuracy raises by five. Neat, eh? EDIT - this either affects only druids or the main character (I was unable to reproduce this bug with my companions)
  6. The description mentions "flame, ice, lightning and corrosion", but the ability doesn't deal corrosive damage. Additionaly, the area of effect is larger than the description and the AoE marker indicate.
  7. I have experienced the same problem in 1.05 as well.
  8. You think that the plot is shallow and not dark enough? How far are you into the game? Have you experienced the lovely screams of Sanitarium patients, the peculiar interests of Helig the Necromancer, Lumdala's magnificent theater, the benevolent Lord Raedric, Durance and his lovely tale of deicide, the amicable Ethik Nôl druids?
  9. Are you using a hired adventurer? What version are you running?
  10. Are you using a virtual LAN network (e.g. Hamachi, Tunngle etc.)?
  11. Most scrolls use almost identical values as their respective spells, but the Scroll of Moonwell seems broken. Compare the following two... Three seconds of increased defenses and 12 endurance is absolutely worthless for a level 4 scroll that requires rare ingredients when compared to ~20 endurance per tick and 20 seconds of increased defenses provided by the original spell. This must have been an oversight.
  12. Kestorik becomes hostile if you mention the Master Below, even though you gained permission from the Vithrack leader before talking to him (and mentioned this during the conversation). The dialogue line indicates that Kestorik is letting you pass through in peace ("Go, then" & "thwarted anger") (check the screenshot). The problem stems from the fact that he becomes hostile the moment you mention the Master Below. The hostility should trigger only if you didn't have the leader's permission beforehand and chose the [Attack] option during conversation.
  13. It turns out that Confuse does flip the allegiance of the enemies. I tested it, and they (confused enemies) are not affected by foe-only AoE abilities and spells.
  14. I can't prevent him from automatically stopping his chant after the first phrase ends. I don't know what to do.
  15. When I completed that quest in 1.05, I had the option to keep the medallion (there was a dialogue option for it when talking to quest giver).
  16. Chain Lightning and Crackling Bolt share the same description.
  17. Before fighting undead Raedric as part of the Champion of Berath quest, there's a dialogue option to inform him that you're the Chosen of Berath even before completing the Servant of Death quest and pledging yourself to Berath.
  18. Servant of Death - dialogue option #4 - braches >> branches
  19. There was a problem with hired adventurers not being able to open locked chests/mechanics, but this was fixed in version 1.03. What version are you running?
  20. I know that, but they should probably react accordingly to being hacked to death. Oh, well... Sawyer knows best.
  21. Dunryd Psion costs 100cp/turn and contributes -2/+2 to Security/Prestige, whereas Mercenary Captain costs five times less but adds +3/+3. Maybe the Psion is amazing in combat, but that's pointless since the Stronghold rarely gets attacked (I'm on turn 72, ~80 hours in, and I have only been attacked three times).
  22. When you force an attack on a confused enemy (by pressing A or clicking on the Sword icon), the enemy doesn't break away from the Confused status effect. I don't know if this works as intended, but if it does, then it can easily be exploited by attacking them and not having them retaliate. Weren't enemies supposed to break away from all charm/dominate/confuse effects if there were no characters or creatures hostile to the player?
  23. She doesn't discuss it if you pass a skill check and tell her that you're there on behalf of Raedric. If you choose that option, you can't initiate a dialogue with her afterwards.
  24. It's a known problem. Besides, it's not like you lost anything important; you're gonna find better equipment in the next couple of minutes anyway.
