2h were underwhelming before unless you specifically built around it like with certain items usch as WofteP or the chromoprismatic staff etc.... and now they are baiscially just pointless... they are probably afraid that stealth kills deal too much damage but backstabbing was nerfed hard as well.... imo the nerf to wotep makes it uselesss. What you could do is increase base penetration of 2h and increase the damage bonus of the 2h talent to 25%

Herald with the shield that has a healing aura + paladins healing aura + chanters healing aura = no one dies...than you can add hearth defenders mail for additional armor bonus aura and some buff/debuff chants... i used pallegina as my sub optimal herald (since no sub class, stats etc.) but she had all resistances >130 on level 20 and kept everyone alive.... a herald works especially well in a melee focused party where everyone is close together at the same time once you can shoot out empowered maelstorms on your druid you won the game anyway....and everything explodes

kinda get the same impression with some things to be honest such as the whispers nerv...at the same time i think there are some things, items, skills etc. that need a buff not a nerv which should also be looked at...i hope the iteration will work out over time...it seems they just want to get things as fast out as possible - hopefully they will react to feedback from the beta patch.

"iroll20s" if you can't handle OP toys being taken away from you. op? lol whispers is the only 2h weapon that can barely keep up with dual wielding...but just barely.... after that change there is absolutly no point to choose 2h over dualwielding - dw is SO much better since it does this low damagen and regarding how penetration works you will have to reliable hit 3 targets to make it somewhat equal to other weapons which is just hardly feasible -
what i think is nice about that build is that its very versatile - you can sneak attack from a distance or up close, sneak around, tank, confuse enemies etc... its very versatile... weapons that also work well with this build - you loose offensive parry tough is rannigs wrath (recover when missed); duskfall (+20 deflection at start of combat); stalkers patience (+damage on flanked and recover when crit).... akolas apex ward also has a riposte chance built into it. I'd probably take bleak walker over goldpact tough - gives you a damage boost and flames of devotion will be your main attack...affliction is helpfull for the deathblows... and intimidate for samelias usually leads to aggressive answers which doesn't work well with goldpact

the nerf to whispers of the endless path seems stupid...makes the sword pointless
